HTTP payload issue

Hey all,
I have an RFC to HTTP scenario, i have managed so far to execute the RFC, pass those values to an XML which is send to an HTTP (Oanda web) and get a response (this last part is the problem)
i'm trying to map this response from that site to my RFC.Response, but while i see the response in the monitoring  i don't see that this is passing in the format i need which would be:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ns0:MT_Response xmlns:ns0="http://test/Fxml">
   <RESPONSE>
      <EXPR/>
      <EXCH/>
      <AMOUNT/>
      <NPRICES/>
      <CONVERSION>
         <DATE/>
         <ASK/>
         <BID/>
      </CONVERSION>
   </RESPONSE>
</ns0:MT_Response>
I just see the response in the format send back by the site
<RESPONSE>
<EXPR>
<EXCH>
<AMOUNT>
<NPRICES>
<CONVERSION>
<DATE>
<ASK>
<BID>
</CONVERSION>
</RESPONSE>
- So, as you can see, it seems like the response from the web is making no relation to my Message Type (synchronous), and since my MT is not related, i have an empty response from the RFC
- How is this possible? what would i need to do in order to create the response in the xml format i created and fill with the correct payload format?
any help would be apreciated,
Thanks in advance!

I tried that but is not working
if i try to map MT_Response => ZRFC.Response header
or
MT_Response/RESPONSE  => ZRFC.Response header
I get an error (red flag on moni) and i have a mapping exception, my guess is this is because ZRFC.Response is 1.1 and i'm mapping something empty, that's why i was telling that i can't generate the MT_Response file (but in moni i see the RESPONSE format from the web, but is not translating that to my MT)
of course that if i map a constant to ZRFC.Response i create an empty response, but then again the problem is my MT_Response, maybe im missing a parameter in the HTTP channel that takes the xml payload?

  • Payload issues in PI7.11 system

    hi,
    we have upgraded our pi system recently from PI7.0 to 7.11, we are seeing few payload issues in the newly upgraded system.
    scenario: file to file, using Central Adapter Engine and
    basically for a file to file interface , we are not able to see the payload in the messages. Though the message is failing at the recevicer determination pipeline. we are curious that why payload is not being displayed at the header level. But for other interfaces the payload is being visible.
    error: xml cannot be displayed
    cannot view xml input using style sheet, please correct the error and click the refresh button.
    Invalid at the top level of the document, error processing file:///c:/documents and settings
    1 TMECHBP 89912 85940 31.57
    missing equals sing between attribute and attribute value.
    The same scenario is working in 7.0 system and payload is visible but not in 7.11
    please share your inputs.
    thanks,
    durga

    As already mentioned above, it looks like the message shown in the monitor is no XML, but rather a flat file.
    Probably the file content conversion in the sender file communication channel is not migrated (in PI 7.0 you would see the same error in case a flat file would show up in the monitor without being converted).
    To check the 'real' content of the payload, you can go to the SXMB_MONI transaction and use a right mouse click on the payload to get a context menu which should have an entry "View Source". If you do so, then the content should be shown in some text editor and it should become clear whether the content is XML or not. If it is not, then please check the configuration of the file content conversion; if so, then check whether the content is valid XML.

  • HTTP payload

    Hello Y'all,
    I would like to know how a sender header HTTP payload would like ? I mean would the Party, sender, namespace need to be setup explicitly as XML tags in the header field so that the http//:<host><port>/xiadapter/....can pick it up?
    -AR

    Hi,
    It would look like normal XML strucutre
    <root>
    <fields/>
    </root>
    The Party, sender, namespace will be in the part of the URL and not in payload

  • BT Infinity HTTPS connection issues- anyone else?

    Hi all.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    I have been having considerable problems with HTTPS sites over the past few months - timing out, unable to make payments online with ClickSafe - Lloyds Bank, Natwest, NEXT, National Lottery. Some HTTPS sites load eventually but usually very very slowly or time out.
    This issue is across all my devices - Macbook Pro, iPad Air, Samsung Tablet, Windows 8 Laptop, x3 iPhone 5.
    If I switch WiFi off on my iPhone I can make payments over the mobile phone network fine but as soon as I switch WiFi on the problems occur again. I took my Laptop to a friends house and used their TalkTalk Broadband and no issues, all worked fine.
    I have had 2 HH4 and now a HH5 and the problem still occurs.
    I have Changed numerous settings, undertaken numerous reboots and complete resets to no avail.
    I have enabled firewalls and disabled firewalls, changed MTU and numerous other possible fixes, but again none have worked.
    I have paid for BT Tech Expert support who have been very helpful  and always called back when they have said they would but they do not know what the problem is and are still working on it. Next call on Monday night.
    I found this very long thread starting in 2011 and ending in February 2013, where BT customers were experiencing the exact same problems in the South West of England and it turned out to be a network issue that was resolved but it does not explain how it was resolved!
    https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity-Speed-Connection/BT-Infinity-and-https-connection-issues/td-...
    I am in Newcastle upon Tyne and would be grateful if anyone could let me know if they are having the similar problems?
    Thanks for your help.

    To try changing DNS server on your Windows 8 laptop, see this Microsoft note.
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows8_1-networking/how-to-change-ipv4-dns-server-...
    You can use 8.8.8.8 as they suggest, as that is Google public DNS.
    If that fixes the problem on the laptop, it would point to a problem with BTs DNS servers.

  • Payload issue in jdbc to proxy scenario

    HI Experts,
    We have designed a new interface from jdbc to proxy where in it went fine with the design part.
    But while testing it the records are pulled by XI but were not posting to ECC.
    So when collected the payload to test in mapping I see a red color to the fields in the structure. due to which am not able to get the output in mapping.
    Can anyone help me out how to resolve this issue.
    Appreciate the quick response.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranganath.

    Add those Extra fields in your Data type and dont map it with target.
    or
    In select stataement in sender JDBC adapter mention the fieldname you want to pick
    Suppose employee table has 3 field
    EmployeeeID,
    Employeename
    address
    but you dont want address field then write the select query like this
    Select EmployeeeID, Employeename from employee
    mention the table fieldnames in select query which you have in your mapping source structure.
    if you are write select * from employee
    then address will come as extra field and create problem in mapping

    Hi Raj,
    Looks like , issue is in validation of payload.
    Please validate payload against the ecs using document editor.

  • Assign one complex element from payload issue in 11g BPEL

    Upgraded BPEL 10.1.3.4 to 11g (11.1.1.3.0) and I know the compiler is stricter and all, but I haven't been able to get this working. The requirement is loop through the elements of a payload in a while loop and "do something" with each. Here is a sample of the element structure:
    - <ns2:costCenter>
    <ns2:costCenterNo>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.04/990000</ns2:costCenterNo>
    <ns2:costCenterName>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.04/990000</ns2:costCenterName>
    <ns2:level1>683-01-I</ns2:level1>
    <ns2:level3>990000</ns2:level3>
    <ns2:address />
    <ns2:city />
    <ns2:state />
    <ns2:zip />
    </ns2:costCenter>
    - <ns2:costCenter>
    <ns2:costCenterNo>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.06/990000</ns2:costCenterNo>
    <ns2:costCenterName>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.06/990000</ns2:costCenterName>
    <ns2:level1>683-01-I</ns2:level1>
    <ns2:level3>990000</ns2:level3>
    <ns2:address />
    <ns2:city />
    <ns2:state />
    <ns2:zip />
    </ns2:costCenter>
    I want to pick out one "costCenter" structure at a time. Here is the Assign code that worked in 10.1.3.4:
    <assign name="GetCurrentCostCenter">
    <copy>
    <from expression="bpws:getVariableData('GetAsentinelCostCenters_FindCostCenter_OutputVariable','FindCostCenterResponse','/ns1:FindCostCenterResponse/ns1:costCenter')[bpws:getVariableData('LoopInd')]"/>
    <to variable="CurrentCostCenter"
    part="FindCostCenterResponse"
    query="/ns1:FindCostCenterResponse/ns1:costCenter"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    I thought I found the solution when I came acorss the 11g samples and in particular "bpel-102-AssignActivities". I tried the CopyList, which ends up copying over ALL the costCenter elements and "ignores" the LoopInd variable. I tried the simple assign, but get the error about result returns too many nodes:
    "XPath query string returns multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query are returning multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query named in the error message returned multiple nodes. It should return single node. According to BPEL4WS specification 1.1 section 14.3, the assign activity part and query named in the error message should not return multiple nodes. Verify the part and xpath query named in the error message at line number 160 in the BPEL source."
    I think I've tried every combination that I can think of. I've resulted to posting here in case someone has a similar requirement and has it working in 11g.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the prompt suggestions. Both gave me a compile error and I couldn't deploy either. I might try rolling back to 11.1.1.2.0, since I found a similar post for this issue with version 11.1.1.3.0. This process has been running on 10.1.3.4 in production for a year now, so this Assign definitely worked before. I don't know what else I can try.
    The Assign works when I hard-code the position, however I get the same CostCeter "/1.6.1.0.01/" assigned every time it goes through the loop, as expected. This has to be a bug in 11.1.1.3.0, it isn't picking up/interpreting the LoopInd variable properly.

    I'm sure that http post mechanism is changed in 11g, but can you please help what exactly is wrong ?

  • ContentType in HTTP Header issue while sending webservice request

    I have a client application deployed on weblogic10.3.4 which access a remote web application (on websphere5.1).
    The soap request fails because WebSphere5.1 does not accept double quote around utf-8 in ContentType header of HTTP.
    e.g:
    Content-Type: text/xml;charset=utf-8 is valid
    Content-Type: text/xml;charset="utf-8" is not valid
    This can be fixed on glassfish by upgrading metro library.
    But how can I fix this problems on weblogic server?
    I found weblogic8.1 doc which says this issue has been fixed (CR198996), but why does it still exist on 10.3.4?
    Any suggestions would be appreciate.

  • Https redirection issue for Wireless Guest CWA - ISE 1.3

    Our Setup is
    ISE 1.3 (Patch level 2) running on ACS 1121
    2 nodes clustered with Admin, monitoring, policy service enabled ( Primary and Secondary ).
    Configured SSID Guest for Centralized web authentication with ISE.
    We have issues in web redirection with chrome . It is not redirecting to the ISE page but rather showing " Page cannot be displayed".
    By default chrome is pointing to https. For example if we type https://google.com it is not redirecting to ISE page. But when I specify the same as http://google.com it works.
    There is no issue with IE, Firefox as it is redirecting to ISE page with default https and i can see it is hitting our rule.
    Please advice.

    Hi Neno
    They are using a third party certificate (digi cert) for client auth. They have confirmed even if they use a self-signed-cert the result is same.
    So basically none of the https page is not loading. If we manually browse some https site from Firefox, IE the result is same showing " page cannot be displayed".
    Redirection to https is the problem which i have never faced with my other customer. This is the upgraded version of ISE from 1.2 to 1.3.

  • Cache server getcert http request issue

    Hi,
    We are using third party repository for documents archiving and storage. And we have separate application for connecting third party repository to the SAP.
    We have installed content server and cache server on the system where SAP was installed.
    Now we want to run getcert HTTP request from our application so that we will get the certificate from SAP cache server. What we need to do in order to achieve the same? Or in other words how we can make the connectivity between cache server and the third party repository?
    We have verified the following URLs
    http://10.224.1.37:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo
    http://10.224.1.37:1095/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo
    (Where 10.224.1.37 is the IP address of the system where SAP is installed)
    for content server and cache server respectively.
    The URL for cache server was giving the correct server information but URL for content server is not at all showing any server information even after running for long time.
    Could you please tell me step by step by procedure and configuration steps for running get cert request to cache server? We want to know how to send the getcert request to third party content management system from cache server.
    We have given the following URL in http get functional module but we are getting a 400 bad request response
    http://10.224.1.37:1095/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?getcert&pversion=0046&conrep=RH
    Where RH is pointing to the third party content server (through transaction oac0).
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi All,
    I am also facing the same problem, Please help us out to solve this issue.

    Hi Raj,
    No such luck yet.  This is related to the E-Filing for the UK government and I believe the connection parameters given are no longer valid or they may have changed.
    I believe I'll have to consult further with SAP OSS or the UK Inland Revenue.
    Thanks,

  • Webdynpro ABAP/Portal. Plugin HTTP connection issue on WaitingEventQueue.js

    Hello,
    We are experiencing a strange Portal Behavior with our Webdynpros. Our portal contains several iViews including some Webdynpro (ABAP) and some reporting transaction calls that use SAPgui for HTML.
    When portal is called for the first time and a user logs in, two connections of type RFC can be seen for that user in SM04 in our ERP system. All iViews work as expected. For example, calling the Time Management webdynpro closes one of the RFC connections and starts a new Pluguin HTTP connection. We can go back and forth between the welcome page and this Webdynpro with no issues.
    If we then select one of the reporting transaction codes, the portal launches the SAPGUI for HTML. Report retrieves and shows data, and then we close using the "Exit" button provided by the sapgui for HTML
    Next we try again to launch any webdynpro (abap), but SM04 shows that the new Plugin HTTP session gets stuck and spinning mid way, and will stay there. Refreshing the Portal screen with F8, navigating back and forth, logging off and on again has no effect. The webdynpros will not launch again. Only webdynpros are affected, any of the reporting transactions can be called successfully over and over.
    We have figured that deleting Temporary Internet files (we are using IE 7), and in particular by just deleting the WaitingEventQueue.js?XXXXXXXXXXX file, the system will break away from the spin loop and show the webdynpro again, but eventually it will get stuck again, and asking the users to delete their Temporary Internet Files every 5 minutes is not a workable solution
    I have reviewed the contents of this javascript file at different points during the test, and the contents do not change, so deleting the file and the recreate process must be resetting somehow the queue and allowing for a new correct communication.
    Is there a way to properly reset this event queue (for example from ABAP, when the webdynpros are reloaded) in order to avoid the spin loop?
    Thanks for any help!
    Andres

    Well, we got the issue resolved, so here is what we did, in case anybody is interested:
    Tested again our portal with multiple versions of Internet Explorer, in particular IE8 and IE6, the Webdynpro behavior was normal (no timeouts or locks). It even worked when we installed IE7 in a brand new machine and tried our portal.
    So we started suspecting if maybe the particular IE7 that we install internally (with specific settings and policies) may be the culprit. We took a desktop that was producing the timeouts and used the following options in IE7:
    Tools->Internet Options->Advanced(tab)-Reset Internet Explorer settings
    and, voila! the next time we ran there, the portal did not create any timeouts.
    We even asked our desktop support team to uninstall and reinstall IE7 in the same machine after we did the reset, and even after the re-install that the timeout problems did not re-appear.
    One of the things that the "reset" option does is delete the Add-ons used by IE.
    So as a last test, we took a machine that was presenting the problem and went to the Internet Options to disable all the add-ons (in the Programs Tab). The error disappeared.
    And even after enabling back all the add-ons, the error would not return.
    Conclusion:
    Without being able to pinpoint the specific add-on (or combination) that causes the problem, we suspect that some of them conflicted, causing IE7 to behave abnormally. Disabling them all, restarting Internet Explorer, and enabling them again, makes the WaitingEventQueue.js work as it should

  • STS: Portal HTTPS to BSP HTTP transfer issue

    Hi Experts,
    We have the following issue.
    We use portal with SSL, and we put SSL on out BW backend system. We also use STS, and we created a BSP iView in the portal to use STS inside portal.
    The problem occurs when a link to the iView is clicked. What happens is that when the iView is being loaded, all the session cookies are getting blocked for some reason, so that clicking on any link in STS results in timeout error.
    My observation is that STS only uses SSL for the login page. So when a request comes through the portal that uses SSL it goes to a BSP iView without an SSL (you get the warning that you are about to display non-secure items).
    A workaround solution is to goo to IE properties, security/privacy and click the "Allow all session cookies" checkbox. This a bad solution because it involves telling users to configure their browser. I am wondering if anybody had the same or similar issue, and if there is any other resolution then just explicitly allowing cookies in the browser.
    We have another environment setup in QA that does NOT use SSL for either portal or a backend BW, and this problem with cookies does not happen there. I am guessing it has something to do with a switch from HTTPS to an HTTP request when it comes through the portal.
    Please let me know if you know how to resolve this.
    Thank you,
    AG

    Hi Marc,
    Thank you very much. The note helped us ensure that all the STS pages are using HTTPS protocol. There is still one issue remaining though.
    When STS generates its start URL, for some reason it starts with HTTP, not HTTPS. It is evident when you go to BPS_TC tcode and try to execute option "Test call with display of URL". The URL that gets displayed is for example:
    http://test.somedomain.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/tunguska/start_sts2.htm?teilplan=ZBUDGET&version=002&sap-client=200&sap-language=E
    When pasting this link in the browser, STS automatically redirects you to the https protocol, which is fine if you are using STS BSP application stand alone.
    This represents a problem however, if the application is integrated into portal BSP iView. If portal is running under HTTPS, then clicking on the STS iView causes a warning message to be displayed saying that you are about to be redirected to the page that is not secure because for some reason the very first page STS generates uses http protocol disregarding the fact that HTTPS has been setup for STS. This warning message creates a false assumption that the pages are not secured, while in fact right after the warning message is displayed a redirect to https occurs making sure STS pages are protected.
    My question is there some sort of global setting where you can control the generation of STS start URL? I made changes for every page making sure Transfer Options set to HTTPS, and also made sure Logon page is using HTTPS in the SICF transaction for tunguska and tunguska_detail services.
    At this point we are stuck and do not know what to do to eliminate that warning and how to control the generation of start URL in STS. Any help would  be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Andrei
