HTTP response "Unauthorized" from CMS server "----"

Hi,
I have the same user id to SLD and NWDI but the password is different.
So I get logged in successfully to the SLD but when i do the import configuration -> remote-> it gives the above error.
The list of available Development Configurations is displayed.
Can any1 tell me the cause of the above error ?
Thanks,
Veena.

Hi,
With a valid userid/pwd, you should be able to logon to CMS WebUI,
http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms
Ensure that you have given the correct roles and rights as per the configuration guide. Reset the passwords to same in both SLD and NWDI.
Hope this helps !

  • Details: HTTP response "Unauthorized"

Hello all, when trying to export using CMS I am getting this error:
<i>Unable to establish connection to CMS server http://server:port.
Unable to transfer the following transport lists:  Export list for *transport name**
Details: HTTP response "Unauthorized" from CMS server "http://server:port"  Check the availability of the CMS and the user authorizations and send the transport request again if necessary</i>
Obviously this is an error with authorizations, but I'm not sure which user I should look at.  There is a service user, as well as a developer ID.

    Ethan
Log on to the UME and search for role CMS
This needs to be assigned to the users who export.
I cannot remember the role name of the top of my head.

    Hi all,
I'm using NWDI to develop a component.

  • Received HTTP response code 500 : Internal Server Error

    Hi All,
In my scenario EANCOM to IDOC, I am getting an error in the sender communication channel (FILE Adapter). It is being picked up from the ‘sender’ directory successfully but not reaching the XI box (no messages seen in SXMB_MONI).
The error in the runtime Workbench says the following:
“Transmitting the message to endpoint http://gdrsap.nestle.com:50000/XIAxisAdapter/MessageServlet? using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 500 : Internal Server Error.”
    Regards,

    Hi Murli
error code 500 stands for Internal Server Error
This code is the default for an error condition when none of the other 5xx codes apply.
for more details on error code follow the link
    http://www.web-cache.com/Writings/http-status-codes.html
you have to restart J2EE engine
    steps to restart J2EE engine
    1) run transaction SMICM
    2) then in the tab administration => J2EE instance(local) =>send soft shutdown with restart
by this java engine will restart and will be up in 5-10 minutes and your problem will be solved

The 500 error I guess is due to a miss correlation, sending wrong data to the server making it crash.
You can record JavaScript files by editing the proxy filter:
View -> OpenScript Preferences -> Record -> HTTP module (or Sieble) -> Change to URL Filters tab; you can add edit remove filters from there.

  • Return HTTP Response Code from custom login module

    Hi,
I´m trying to set an HTTP Response Code from a custom login module. Getting HTTP Headers works, so basically the approach is working.
    What I do is:
    HttpSetterCallback responseSetterCallback = new HttpSetterCallback();
    responseSetterCallback.setType(HttpSetterCallback.RESPONSE_CODE);
    responseSetterCallback.setValue("401");
    _callbackHandler.handle(new Callback[] );
When executing on a J2EE 6.40 I get the following error:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: hsc.getType()==8 not yet supportedhsc.getType()==8 not yet supported
(with Type 8 standing for Response Code)
It looks as if this feature has not been implemented yet (although been described in the SAP documentation). How can I fix this problem, is there any workaround to set the Response Code in another way?
    Thanks!
    Kind regards,
    Daniela

    Hi Daniela,
sorry for the late reply - you may have resolved your problem now, but still wanted to follow up on it in case others experience the same.
The support for this type in the callback is available from SP12 on. I guess you're using a lower SP. So, if you upgrade, you'll get the problem resolved (otherwise, I'm not aware of any workarounds.)
    Hope that helps!

  • HTTP response time - From any SAP table.

Can we get http response time other than from SMICM u2192 Http log?

Question: can we access complete URL from any table level with http response time, any input is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

    Michael,
First of all, thanks for the reply.
In our environment we have cprojects implemented and have lot of webdynpro request to ECC system.
From http log (SMICM) I can see many webdynpro requests with response time above 30 minutes; I want to automate this monitoring by writing a CCMS data supplier. We already have SAP document to write data supplier.
Scenario: For example if they are doing a task in cprojects.
We will be having a GET webdynpro request and then POST. By looking at GET we can know the task user is trying to do. But it is POST request which will be taking most of the response time and POST URL is show u2026(point) after context ID and as per SAP help this is done for security reason.
    HTTP log from SMICMu2026
    [DATE] - "GET /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects?sap-client=clnt&STARTVIEW=Tasks&OBJECT_TYPE=TTO&GUID=GUIDNUMBER
    [DATE] - "GET /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects/~ucfLOADING?sap-contextid=....................
    [DATE] - "POST /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects/?sap-contextid=........................[response time]
I think SAP is displaying as point in http log file, but it should definitely have complete URL is any of the table.
So I am looking If we can find the complete POST URL with response time from table then we can write an ABAP program to send the information to CCMS.
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

  • Are form responses removed from Adobe server when deleted by user?

This is a server security question; when form responses are exported to excel, and then deleted from the workspace, do they remain on the Adobe server or are they gone?  I need to know this to know the level of security that is applied to the server to determine if we can use Adobe with sensitive information. I understand forms are encrypted when responses are returned, but what happens to the information that is on the server?

  • How to see http response from an axis web service call (Eclipse)

    Hello,
I would like to see the raw http response which is returned from web service calls. I have a dynamic web project in Eclipse which uses a local instance of Tomcat 6. I'm using all of the default setting for a top-down web service generated from a WSDL file. I've generated the client using the built-in "generate client" using default settings.
I've tried using the Eclipse plugin TCP/IP monitor and apache's TCPMON, but I am only able to see the http request, not the http response returned from the web server I am querying.
I've seen some sparse documentation outlining how to use logging handlers and a client-config.wsdd file, but I haven't been able to get that working.
So to recap, I'm looking for a way to view raw http responses using a web service client and server generated from a WSDL file in eclipse. I don't mind creating a new project using different code-generating libraries if someone has an easy way to do this using a different configuration.
    Thanks very much,
    Craig

A simple google query for "apache axis2 http response" also return this article:

And finally, you did go through the Axis2 website right? It has a wiki with a rather staggering amount of articles in there.

    Hi Lorcan.
So what exactly happens when you try to start XML Forms builder, do you get an actual error or does it just not start at all?
    > Actually the News are not getting displayed . The HTML (Html tages)are not getting rendered properly in XML Form Builder.
This news are perfectly working in other environment  (Dev/Qlty) but not in Production .. where i am facing the issue of rendering the news ( not in correct format as expected)
It is appearing as link. where as in my other environment the Text in proper HTML format.
(Link of News appearing in production) whereas in Dev/Qlty proper text with Heading/Font/Colour appears. Or are you only seeing errors when you run the environment check?
    > I am getting the errors when running the environment check on in Production but not in Development/Quality.
Did you try it on different clients or with different users? Is this a new installation or have you recently upgraded? Are all your components on the same SP level?
    > This is new installation but SP level are exactly same across the system(Dev/Qlty/Prod).
Also the check the settings and found proper..
    Root Directory * /usr/sap/<System-ID>/SYS/global/config/cm/etc*
Please let me know am I missing something..
Why its not running on my production system.
