HTTP Sender link - when opened thru browser?

Hi Experts
What should happen when we try the URL generated by HTTP Client in Internet explorer?
What page should it display?
I tried the below link, it prompt me for log on credentials. When I give login ID/pwd which I should to log in for IR and ID , it shows logon failed. But I am able to log on to ID/ IR/ RWB.
http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/adapter_plain?namespace=<namespace>&interface=<interface>&service=<service>&party=&agency=&scheme=&QOS=BE&sap-client=100&sap-language=EN&sap-user=<userID>ap-password=<pwd>
Please suggest
Thanks, Karthik

Normally that is a part of the service usrs which takes care of communication b/n Components of PI.
You can do the same testing in RWB and check there the response normally it should show data sent or successful message kind.
Go to Moni and check there is there any transaction created for your scenario.

  • Firefox does not open Gmail to send link when I click the Send Link option on the menu. I have set Gmail as the mailto option, but did not help

Firefox does not activate Gmail when I click send link in the menu under File or by right click menu on a webpage. I have set Gmail as the Mail to under options, but this did not help.

I have the same problem but it appears that an add-on I'm using is causing the problem. Try opening Firefox in safe mode (which disables add-ons) Then try it. If that solves the problem, you need to disable all your add ons and enable them one by one to figure out which one(s) is causing the problem.

  • Acrobat Pro 9 - URL link to open in browser in background (behind PDF)?

Hi!  I've been searching for days now... does anyone know if it's possible using Acrobat Pro 9 to force a URL link to open in the background, behind a PDF in order to keep the reader at the PDF instead of instantly switching to their web browser?
This is used for a capabilities presentation, where we would like the view to continue reading the PDF but if they click links, the links will load in their browser where they can review them after finishing the PDF - instead of instantly being taken to the browser.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Go the the Applications -> Utilities folder. In there you will find the Disk Utility app. When you run that application, you can select your hard drive. Then click on the Fix Permssions button.

  • InDesign 7.0.4 OS X 10.6.8 Crashing on Auto Linking when Opening

    Folks,
I am having some trouble with many machines running Adobe InDesign CS5 7.0.4 (installed as part of Adobe CS5 Design Standard and Adobe CS5 Design Premium) across multiple machines.
When opening InDesign CS5 by double clicking a .indd file I am prompted to Update Links.  If I select this option it goes through several links, freezes, and then promptly crashes.
This happens every time, on multiple documents.
We can update links by hand by selecting Don't Update Links.
I've attached a crash report at the following URL: http://pastebin.com/r2HkKDZv
    Some things I have tried:
Made sure all the linked files were chmod 777 to clear up any possible permissions issues
    Updated OS X to 10.6.8 r1.1
    Updated InDesign to 7.0.4
    Deleted all InDesign preferences
Created a new user and attempted to open files under new user account.  Exact same crash.
Secure erased the hard drive, reimaged using our corporate image and reloaded Adobe software.  Issue persisted.
Any help or other suggestions you can make would be greatly apprecaited.

Are you using Applescript here? Can you tell us how? Do you have an automatic script running on certain events, or are you scripting the double-clicking of the INDD file? Does it change if you do not do so?
Is it possible that the INDD file contains multiple links to the same link?
Can you reproduce the problem with your own outdated link?
What about not updating the link and saving?
Or not updating the link, deleting 99% of the document (let's say all but 2 occurances of the link), saving it, and reopening it?
The faulting routine is essentially VOS_SimpleCursor::RemoveObject(short), which then calls memcpy(). I'm not familiar with it, but my assumption is that something has been freed already, and an invalid pointer is being held on to. Hence my question about multiple links to the same link.

  • Exchange 2013 OWA HTTP 500 error when opening another mailbox

We have an Windows Server 2012 Exchange 2013 server with OWA.
All users can login fine, but when I open another mailbox with my Admin account, having enabled access to that user's mailbox, the URL redirects to /owa/auth/errorfe.aspx?httpCode=500 and shows:
    something went wrong
Sorry, we can't get that information right now. Please try again later. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk
Google won't help me in this instance. Where in the eventlog are OWA events logged?

    Hello,
I am joining to the thread opener, however, we do not use exchange server. we are using the Cloud services through Microsoft and as far as I know, the version is 2013 wave 15 (again, through Microsoft's cloud).
when I open the outlook, I can see the shared mailbox just fine.
when I open the office web access, and I search the mailbox through the 'add another mailbox..' It finds it however when I press the add button I get the HTTP 500 error.
when I tried to open a different mailbox (another shared mailbox I gave myself permissions for), it opens just fine.
it seems (from what I can tell) it is this specific shared mailbox that I cannot open through OWA while others I can.
when I try to open the mailbox in question through a different internet browser (Chrome) I get this Error:
NegotiateSecurityContext failed with for host 'db3pr04mb138.eurprd04.prod.outlook.com' with status'LogonDenied'
the error seems to be persistent on this specific mailbox only regardless to what browser I am trying to access with.
I can only assume that the solutions you (Winnie) offered isn't relevant in my case.
thanks in advance for any attempt to help me with this issue.

  • Hang releases when opening other browser

When logging in to a website Firefox hangs completely.
If I start another browser, say Chrome, just starting it and let it get focus and after that returning to Firefox solves the hanging.
Anyone knows what can be the problem?
And why is it solved by just open another browser.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • HTTP 500 error when opening "App Server Control" (EM) in OAS 10.1.3.5.0

    Hi,
I have some (but not much) experience with OAS and am currently stuck. So hope to find someone who can help me further here.
When i open Oracle Application Server Control from the SOA Suite 10.1.3.5.0 home page i get most of the times an HTTP 500 error.
Initially i got this even when i opened the login page (/em) but worked around this by increasing the ThreadsPerChild from 100 > 250 in the httpd.conf and replacing the loopback adres 127.0.0.1 in the dms.conf for the virtual host configuration to the actual (fixed) ip-address.
The current situation is that when i restart the environment (opmn stopall & opmn startall) i can open the the EM login page.
After logging in om the Enterprise Manager, the page is partly loaded and a HTTP 500 error is shown when i refresh the page.
    The apache log files now still shows the following errors;
[Tue Sep 07 15:46:19 2010] [error] [client 10.157.1.68] [ecid: 1283867060:10.150.50.110:10312:9568:5,0] mod_oc4j: Failed to find a failover oc4j process for session request for destination: application://ascontrol (no island or jgroup).
    [Tue Sep 07 15:51:20 2010] [error] [client 10.157.1.68] [ecid: 1283867060:10.150.50.110:10312:9568:5,0] mod_oc4j: request to OC4J SOA-WTST:12501 failed: Connect failed
    Any hints ?
    Kind regards,
    Peter

    If finally found the cause of the problem, lack of PermGen space for the home instance;
When opening the EM Console most of the times i was able to open the login page, under stress opening this page failed most of the times.
    The ascontrol-application.log pointed me in the right direction;
    10/09/07 15:26:59.111 ascontrol: Servlet error
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
When monitoring the PermGen of the home instance, is showed that the system was running out of PermGen space.
Increasing the PermGen size for the home instance in opmn.xml did the trick
    <data id="java-options" value="-Xrs -server -XX:MaxPermSize=128M......"

  • Error message when opening 2nd browser

When opening a 2nd Safari 3.1 browser for Windows for a 2nd monitor, I get the following Safari.exe- application error message:
The instruction at "0x10004dbf" referenced memory at "0x0000000". The memory could not be "read". Click ok to terminate program.
I click "OK" and the message goes away, though the browser remains and works just fine. How do i get this error message to stop popping up every time I open an additional Browser window?

Same problem here, but different message:
    Safari.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x129b371b" referenced memory at 0x000000000". The memory could not be "read."
I'm an Apple user at home, no problems there. This is happening on my PC at work: Compaq nx5000, Intel Pentium M, 504MB RAM, Windows XP Professional SP2

  • Disable app link when opening new page in safari

I am wondering if there is a way to turn off the app link that appears in Safari when opening a new page on websites that have apps available. This is super annoying to me because if I wanted to open the app, or install the app for that matter I WOULD OPEN OR INSTALL IT MYSELF, lol. I don't need a popup taking up screen space, slowing down how Safari loads and operates. This pops up every time I load a new Google page, or Amazon page - etc, whether I have the app installed or not. I've been all through the settings and searching the web and I cant find any way to turn this "feature" off. Can anyone out there help me please?

    Hi Scooter!
Thanks for posting a Presuming "SOLUTION"
I don't have these problems as you described, but did you drag the Cookies.plist to the desktop and relaunch Safari an try to open a NEW TAP.
What happens now ... is Safari handling opening a new tap from the TOP SITE window?
    Post back ...

  • I have updated my default mailto as Outlook on Windows 7, set Firefox to use the default as mail to and YET I still cannot send links from the Firfox Browser.

Can not send links from File send or emails from sites with options to email

go to '''TOOLS '''then '''OPTIONS''' then '''ADVANCED''' then '''NETWORK tab''' then '''SETTINGS tab''' and select the options '''NO PROXY''' click '''OK''' and '''OK '''again in the next screen. With that you have disabled the proxy settings.
''if you like to not disable the proxy settings choose'' : '''Auto-detect proxy settings for this network''' (it is in the same session)
    thank you

  • Url links in swf work in standalone, but not when opened in browser

I am currently using flash to create an electronic press kit.
In that, i have 2 links to youtube (since embedding the videos was
not an option, making the file too large), and one link to
yousendit for the viewer to be able to download a pdf file.
Now when i open the swf by double clicking on it (which i can
do, but when on another computer, that has flash player installed,
the swf will not open unless opened through a browser....not sure
if that is just something where you can open an swf strictly by
itself only if you actually have flash or what....that is another
issue), but anyways, when i open the swf by itself, the links work
correctly. once opened through a browser, the links do not work.
    Safari error:
Adobe flash player has stopped a potentially unsafe
    operation.
The following local application of your computer or network:
    (location of swf on harddisk)
is trying to communicate with this internet-enabled location:
    youtube.com
To let this application communicate with the internet, click
    SETTINGS.
You must restart this application after changing your
    settings.
Of course i did that, and it didnt happen.
My question is however, even if this is a simple security
issue/setting within the browser, is there any way to get around
this? Because when sending this press kit out, the last thing i
want is for the viewer to have to take the time to change their
browser settings and try to get this to work and all that stuff.
    Any help would be appreciated.
You can also download this swf at the following link:
    http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...661F585ACE0521

The reason the swf doesn't open up by itself on other
computers is that it needs a Stand Alone Flash Player to do so.
Most people have the Flash plug-in for their browsers, but not the
stand alone player. If you are sending it out as a self contained
file you need to make a Projector file. It contains the SA + swf in
one file, which adds weight. Also, you need to make a Windows one
and and a Mac one. If you are using CS3, I think you can make a
Abobe AIR app that is universal, granted you install the free AIR
plug-in controlls for Flash ( I THINK. My knowlege is not totally
    up to date) .
As for the links not working in the browser, its seems like
they should work. Your posted link for the file is broken, so
couldn't see. What is your code for the buttons? Are you calling
JavaScript in your html page? I've had problem with that usually a
    syntax error or IE.

  • Force app iframe links to open new browser window?

We're building a simple app that uses iframes to pull in external images and text to display in specific regions of the app's pages. The text displayed is an HTML list of links -- each link the name of a legislator -- that lead to that person's official biography. The client wants the following behavior: When the app user clicks a name/hyperlink, the iPad browser should take over and display the bio. When done reading the bio, the user can click the browser's close-window symbol at top right, then they will be back where they started in the app.
For some reason, these links insist on opening within the iframe, regardless of whether or not we use the target="_blank" method. I tried Googling for this as a known behavior, but found nothing. Tips?

If it will help, here's a sample of the HTML were bringing into the iframe from an external source. We did not write this code but can relay messages to their Web developer ...

  • Acrobat is changing hyperlinks when opening in browser

    Hi everyone,
I have a pdf file containing a lot of hyperlinks. When certain links are clicked on, Acroabt opens up a browser window but the page won't load because some of the characters in the URL are being changed. For example the following url:
    http://law.ato.gov.au/atolaw/view.htm?rank=find&criteria=AND~PS~basic~exact:::AND~LA~basic ~exact:::AND~2010%2F4~basic~exact&target=OA&style=java&sdocid=PSR/PS20104/NAT/ATO/00001&re cStart=1&PiT=99991231235958&Archived=false&recnum=1&tot=3&pn=ALL:::ALL
    ...gets replaced with this:
    http://law.ato.gov.au/atolaw/view.htm?rank=find&criteria=AND%7EPS%7Ebasic%7Eexact:::AND%7E LA%7Ebasic%7Eexact:::AND%7E2010%2F4%7Ebasic%7Eexact&target=OA&style=java&sdocid=PSR/PS2010 4/NAT/ATO/00001&recStart=1&PiT=99991231235958&Archived=false&recnum=1&tot=3&pn=ALL:::ALL
It seems to be swapping out the tilde sign (~) with the following characters:
    %7E
When I hover over the hyplink in Acroabt, the correct version appears. It only happens once it's clicked and the brower window is opened.
Does anyone know why this happens or whether there is a workaround?
    Thanks in advance

Tilde is indeed arguably forbidden in a URL, and should be replaced by %7E. So Acrobat is doing the right thing. We can now often get away with the tilde, but they should be treated as exactly equivalent.
This is discussed in http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/tilde.html which can also be accessed as http://www.cs.tut.fi/%7Ejkorpela/tilde.html.
You are right that the Australian government web site isn't accepting this. The site appears to be faulty.
