Hi,
Check this
Error: HTTP 403 Forbidden
Description: The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it
Possible Tips:
Path sap/xi/engine not active
• HTTP 403 during cache refresh of the adapter framework - Refer SAP Note -751856
• Because of Inactive Services in ICF –Go to SICF transaction and activate the services. Refer SAP Note -517484
• Error in RWB/Message Monitoring- because of J2EE roles – Refer SAP Note -796726
• Error in SOAP Adapter - "403 Forbidden" from the adapter's servlet. –Because of the URL is incorrect or the adapter is not correctly deployed.

Hey All, I am really stumped on this one.

Clients in this domain connect and work beautifully. No errors.

Client autodiscovers, and then asks for a password. Enter the password and this comes up...

The server understood the request, but cannot fulfill it.
As far as i can tell certificates are correctly configured with all the SAN's possible in my forest. The user is correctly set up in Lync control panel. Autodiscovery seems to be working as it should. EWS is working correctly.
Repaired client, removed cached creds, has all lync 2013 updates no dice
    Thank you all!

    I am an IDIOT.
I did not prepare the child domain with the LYNC setup tool. Logged on to a file server in the child domain with domain admin rights and sure enough the setup said the domain was "partial". Ran the setup and bam it all started working.

    Hi Senthil,
There is a way, you can expose the function module HTTP_GET as an rfc-enabled FM and use it to call the webservice. Here is a POC I made before:
Proof of Concept: An Alternative HTTP GET using a Remote-Enabled Version of the Function Module HTTP_GET
Another is to create a UDF that uses an HTTP Client class to call the webservice.

    Hi Venu,
thanks for the answer but it seems to be something else. After searching for that problem I also ran the configuration wizard->PI self registration. This activity registers all the component of the PI, unfortunately it only registered the "integration server" part without the Adapter engine, domain, RWB and etc.
Also, when I trigger the registration of the adapter engine I get the following error in the default trace:
The AdatperEngine has not been registered with the SLD due to: com.sap.aii.af.lib.sld.SLDException: Could not register AdapterFramework to SLD. Reason: Self-registration of instance af.xid.hfasapxi1 of class SAP_XIAdapterFramework failed

  • HTTP response code 403 (forbidden)

Hi, my name is Sebastiano and I'm a student.
I'm developping a Server-Client application for Web in 100% Java.
My application comunicates with a browser (Explorer) through a socket to satisfy http request.
So my application is between the browser and the web (like a proxy).
My application create an HttpUrlConnection with the URL contained in the http request getting from the browser, receive the response (the content of the url requested) from this URL and after doing some task with it, send it to browser as response.
However some site (in particular www.google.com when my application send to it a query of research) gives to my application http response code 403 (forbidden) raising an "java.io.IOException: Server returned http response code: 403 for URL ...".
There is someone who can help me ... may questions are:
Why my application get this respone code?
There is something to set in HttpUrlConnection to avoid this response?
How can I avoid this response?
Thank you very much for yuor reply,
    Sebastiano.

    Read this page:

  • HT1819 Bad http result code: 403

I've done everything up to this point: validate XML, manually subscribe through iTunes.
I'm at Submit Podcast to iTunes Directory
    1.  Podcast feed URL:  http://www.thelambschapel.org/TLC_AudioPodcast.xml.
I get: Bad http result code: 403
The file permissions are 655. How can I get beyond this? Thx.
p.s. the only reason I am submitting the podcast is because our podcast of 3+ years dropped off the directory, so I'm trying to make the name slightly different in order to get it listed on the directory again. I changed the name of the XML file, and inside the file, I changed the <title>. The URL stays the same.

The feed seems to be OK - it can be subscribed to manually in iTunes and works fine there.
The 403 error means 'Access forbidden': one way of getting this is trying to access a directory (ending a URL with a slash) when there is no index.html file present, so if for example you had accidentally added a slash to the end of the URL when submitting it that would probably be the result.
If you are sure that you submitted the URL correctly it's difficult to see what the problem is. Sometimes servers don't react properly to a request from the iTunes Store when requests from the iTunes application and other rss readers work fine. You would need to take this up with the people running your server. Possibly they have a log which will show what happened.

    Anyone can help?
    Best Regards

There are many possible causes of a 403 error. Is this error happening when launching the applet, or does the applet launch properly and the error comes up when loading the file? How do you have AutoVue integrated to your web application? Is it integrated using the AutoVue ISDK? Or are you passing filenames into the applet in a different way? Can you clarify again, does the error only occur when the user tries to open a Chinese filename?
Also, please note that AutoVue version 19.3 is no longer under Oracle Premier Support. If possible you should upgrade to the latest version of AutoVue, especially if you end up needing to log a Service Request to Oracle.

    Hello,
I think we'll need more info to troubleshoot this one. Are you a current AutoVue customer or partner on maintenance? If so, please log an SR so support can investigate with you.
If not, please contact your AutoVue Account Manager and he'll set you up with a resource who can help.

Can you mention what are the settings done in Receiver HTTP channel.....the request that you send to target is not in proper format.
One reason could be incorrect Content Type.....is it text/XML ?

  • HTTP server code 400 reason Bad Request explanation Bad Request

    hello everybody,
i'm working with SAP PI 7.1
    I designed my interface IDOC-PI-HTTP.
when i send idoc from R3 i see this message in PI monitor:
HTTP server code 400 reason Bad Request explanation Bad Request
i tried to configure a HTTP port in SM59 and use it in my Communication Channell,  but when i test connection i have same error.
    I'm using a https address.
    have you any suggestion?
    thanks
    Alex

    Hello,
I already verify with 3 party developer. He confirmed me he is expecting i send data by POST.
Yes, but how does the HTTP Body looks like?See sample webservice below:
http://ws.cdyne.com/delayedstockquote/delayedstockquote.asmx?op=GetQuickQuote and scroll down to see how an HTTP POST looks like
    Content type is a String
Normally, the content-type for an http post is application/x-www-form-urlencoded. But then, you need to know the prolog and epilog in the http body.
he gave me a url address https://.......
where i need set the parameter HTTPS??
https (http with ssl) is configured in mm59 type G (external server). To enable https, you need to select the SSL folder in which you have installed the CA (certificate authority) certs. Make sure that once you have installed the CA certs, you have performend an ICM Restart.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

could you provide an explanation on this error.

    Hi
    Go through this
    Error: 404 Not Found
Description: The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
    Possible Tips:- for HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK 404
    • 404 is an HTTP response code that indicates that the resource in question couldn't be found. Usually this is due to an incorrect URL, so it is better to cross check all URLs. Check pipeline URL in the SLD in the business system of the Integration Server For this go to SLD->Business System-><yourIntegrtaion Server>->Pipeline URL: It should be like this http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry Where host is the host name of the Integration Server and port is the HTTP(8xxx) port. To verify this in Integration Server you can do like this. Go to SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Choose Edit from Menu -> Change Global Configuration Data to switch to change mode. Then select System Landscape - Load Configuration. (This is not required always)
    • Check that the port really is the ICM HTTP Port and not the J2EE port i.e SMICM then menu GOTO --> SERVICES and check the port number for HTTP. It should be HTTP port
    • If the error is Page cannot be displayed, cannot find server in https configurations Check and correct the SSL configuration for the ABAP and the J2EE side of the system
    • If the error is because of integration server when using Proxy communications then check these. i.e SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Corresponding Integration Server enrty should be dest://<Http Integration server-Destination> Where < Http Integration server -Destination > is the RFC destination (SM59) of type HTTP connection (type H) to the Integration Server. In this case, host name, port, and path prefix are saved in the RFC destination.
