My http home directory is c:\OracleHTTP; my old HTTP directory was C:\orahttp that I deleted and reinstall Oracle HTTP Server.
I don't understand why these error is coming? even Apache is referring old http server home.
on DADS.CONF my image directory is set to
Alias /i/ "c:\OracleHttp\Apache\images\/"
So the situation is when I invoke Apex it displays with all images, but do not move after that; i.e the screen don't move whatever you type.
Can anybody give advise what can we do to make Apex functional?
Thanks. The reference to old HTTP home was resolved as there were old settings on Window Registry that I deleted.
I am still getting following errors:-
[Tue Mar 31 09:10:48 2009] [error] [client 192.168.2.102] [ecid: 1238508648:192.168.2.102:944:4080:7,0] File does not exist: c:/oraclehttp/apache/apache/htdocs/favicon.ico

Where is HTTP access and error log when using Embedded PL/SQL Gateway?
Hello,
I am using Embedded PL/SQL Gateway to run stored procedures.
I can't find access log and error log (something like Oracle HTTP Server has).
In listener.log are only simple data and there are no usernames and procedure names...
Thanks.
MarianYou might be better off asking this on the Apex forum: Oracle Application Express (APEX)

You are correct that some of the files are missing.
The r3startup service is gone. it was there and now gone after the PL 24 upgrade. This service per SAP was set to manual anyway.
The additional-lib/iaik_jce_full.jar was never part of the install, this file doesn;t exist either. The OSS note recommended the following be installed:
iaik_ssl.jar, iaik_jsse.jar and iaik_jce.jar
and the com/sap/jdbc_driver_references/Opta2000.jar...
the Opta200.jar file exist but is zero....
What do other Solaris EP 60 SP2 Patch4 folks have one there machines?
Thanks

I am unable to restart the HTTP server service after I tried to install Discoverer Administration suite.
I get the following error at startup of service.
"The procedure entry point OCIUserCallbackRegister could not be located in the dynamic link library OCI.dll"
This has made our development job to a standstill.
An early reply would be highly appreciable.

nullDear Ashwin.
I face same problem. This oci.dll file is located on forms or reports server's bin folder. What i can do is just rename this file. For example if oci.dll is their then rename to 'copy of oci.dll'.I think this should work.
Thank you.

Web Server 7 Error Logs in GUI
In Sun One Web Server 6.1 in View Error Log you can search logs by "Only show entries with" but in Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 I dont find this feature.
Somebody know if that feature exists in Sun One Web Server 7.0?
Thanks a lotThis feature does not exist in WS70 GUI. However if you click on "More Options" link, you will find a lot of search options on the basis of which you can search the error/access logs.

HTTP Server installation error
I have installed apex 2.2 on a server with windows 2003 server.
The entire installation went thru successfully.
I have setup the httpd.conf and the marvel.conf successfully.
When I go to the web browser and http the page, the login page appears.
I enter the workspace=internal, username=admin, password=xxx;
instead of opening my admin page it opens another logon page
with just prompt for username and password WHY >>
What did I do wrong here ??
Thanks
Alvin
[email protected]Guys, I did connect
http://localhost:7777/apex/apex_admin and
I get the screen for username and password logon...
I enter valid data and the page just refreshes and stays there
But if I enter a wrong password, I get the error wrong credentials..
So my username password is correct, why does it not go forward from there ?

Application server http server (webpage)error
hi,
i am tryping to access the localhost.localdomain:com:7777/oiddas. but i am getting page not found error. please let me know how to troubleshoot this.
Thanks,
Satish.Hi,
Wow, that was a quite detailed problem ! :)
Well, I suppose "oiddas" is your application.
I would suggest to log in the console, go to the "Deployments" section in the domain structure, and click on your application.
Then you'll have a "Testing" tab which will show you all the available pages for testing.
Click one of them (the list is reflecting the welcome-file-list in your web.xml) and you should get your application.
Hope this helps !
[EDIT] Sorry, I guess my piece of advice doesn't apply to your question since it's Oracle Application Server and not Oracle WebLogic Server ....

Google HTTP Server Request Error
I have a problem accessing any Google websites. I can visit Google.com without any issues. However, any other sites, such as Drive, Analytics etc. I cannot visit them. Basically this is what is happening. I type drive.google.com in the browser (I tried in all three major browsers i.e Chrome, Firefox and Safari). The error I get is attached as a image (Error is displayed in Chrome).
However, after that error, when I add HTTPS in front of the URL, it works fine. Now this happens only when I'm at my work. Though it doesn't happen for anyone else at work. The IT department doesn't know what is going on either since my laptop is the only one that is facing the issues. I'm running OX 10.9 Not sure if this is a virus or what. They have tried flushing the DNS and releasing and renewing IP. But nothing works. Any ideas on what it can be?Turns out that the problem was that the Application Pool
Identity didn't have access to the SQL DBs to do CRUD. I guess you
should never be too sure of things. -=o/ -
