http service in the win nt services wont startup either manually or automatic
please help.

My suggestion is to navigate to the Apache home and startup Apache manually. The console window will let you know if there is something wrong with the configuration files.

Sorry but what are BP services? Do you mean Business package?
If yes the approaches are completely different - you use Web Services when you have to customise the application and build your logic/functionality into the app. CRUD operations are procided by Web Services - you need to form your wrapper application from scratch and develop!
With BP - it involves least development effort bearing in mind that its all standard content and not yet completely customizable. So based on your requirements plan whether to go for Business Package or Web Services or Java API completely...

Connect to SharePoint web service using the XML / Web Service connector

Hi experts,
I am currently trying to display my SharePoint list in Crystal Report. Therefore my plan is to use a SharePoint web service to get the data and paste them to the Crystal Report.
Is it possible to use the "XML and Web services" connector of the Crystal Reports database expert?
When I enter the web service URL, for instance:
https://[url]/_vti_bin/lists.asmx?wsdl
and click next... I have to enter the web service credentials.
On the next page I have to enter Service, Port and Method.
Do I have to enter the service URL again here?
What If, there is no port? Can I leave that field empty?
I know the methods, but where can I add the mandatory parameters?

We are using Crystal Reports 2008 SP2.
We want to use the Web Service Connector.
What I need is more informationen about the Web service connect. For example - the connection in Microsoft InfoPath is much easier - there I don't have to enter a port and can choose the methods from a list.
Is it possible to use the Crystal web service connector for MS SharePoint Webservices?
Or must I use the Crystal SDK to carry out a connection?

Unable to create new services using the R3 replicated service categories

Hi All,
I have the following problem:
We have replicated the services from our R3 system to SRM (as well as the materials).
We also have an external system that will be creating new services and it will reuse the service categories from R3.
When I try to create a service online, I can only select the SRV_ category type. None of the others which do exist in COMM_CATEGORY are available (Like SRV_ALL, SRV_SERV,...). When I try to select them I get an error like:
"Product category SRV_ALL has a different product type to maintained product"
The problem doesn't exist for materials where I can use any of the MAT_* types.
I suspect that the settings in COMM_HIERARCHY transaction might have an impact. I can see that for MAT_ and all MAT_* the attribute product type has been set to "Product". Whereas for services I only see that SRV_ is set to "Service", all the other SRV_* type have no value set. According to SAP Help they would inherit the value from the parent which is SRV_, but perhaps this functionality doesn't fully work?
Now, I would like to get the value the product type attribute set to "service" for all SRV_* type, however in SRM I cannot edit them as the ECC system is the source. Does any one know if I can change some settings for the replication of the service types so that this attribute is set for all my service types during replication? Or any other solution?

The only thing you can do is get the phone back to the US somehow even if someone else has to take it for you (which is fine). The iphone does not have an international warranty except throughout the EU.

"The Java Web Services" - ant install

Hi, I recently downloaded "The Java Web Services" and "The Java Web Services Tutorial".
And I've reached the Creating the Build Properties File portion of the tutorial:

I'm using Windows ME and I have no idea where to put the build.properties file.
Can anyone give me any suggestions? I am successfully able to
ant compile
but I can't get
ant install
to work once I have done the ant compile and I suspect this is because of me not having the build.properties file set... although it could be unrelated to that.
when I try to use:
ant install

I'm stuck. I'm frustrated (mainly because I've used PHPVirtualbox on my Ubuntu server before migrating to Arch). I've followed everything on the wiki step by step, substituting "vbox" for my own username, of course. I've added myself to the vboxusers group. Any suggestions/ideas?

I ran into the same problem when I tried setting up VirtualBox and PhpVirtualBox a couple months ago. I was playing around with it again tonight and I finally figured it out! The problem, at least in my case, was that the vbox user directory at /var/lib/vbox hadn't been created yet. I was able to start the vboxweb_mod service after creating the user directory with:
sudo mkdir /var/lib/vbox
and setting the permissions with:
sudo chown vbox:vbox /var/lib/vbox
I also had issues logging in after the service was started. I verified the vbox username and password matched in config.php but, in the end, the cause of the login issue was not having given the vbox user shell access when I created the account; this was resolved by running:
sudo chsh -s /bin/bash vbox

_sip service and the _tls protocol

My client is switching his email to MS 360 and we host his DNS. He is asking for and SRV record using _tls protocol. I can only use TCP or UDP in my control panel. Is there a work around?

You can TRY and omit the _sip._tls record to see if it does work as the Lync 2013 client will attempt to look up the server in the following order:

sipexternal.<domain>   A (host) record for the Access Edge service when the client is external
So it should be able to determine how to login using the lyncdiscover CNAME, however, you should ideally have the record created.

How should the new note & mortgage servicer report the loan on the credit report ?

History... Default on a modification to original note and mortgage with same lender/service provider that was made (the modification) after Chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge and never reaffirmed, no further monetary liability to signer on the note. After the modification default the loan is transferred to a new loan servicer. The trade lines continue to report CH7 status from the original loan service provider, closed account, 0 balance, etc. from the original servicer of the loan, nothing from the new servicer. A second modification is attempted via the new loan servicer and denied, After the modification denial, co-signer files CH 7. The signer on the note and mortgage quitclaims the property to co-signer. Then the foreclosure process starts with the new loan servicer and the new loan servicer places a new trade line on the signer's credit report showing foreclosure status, account open, late, account balance shown, etc. During the foreclosure process with the new loan servicer the co-signer files a CH 13, which is approved by the courts and the case is now closed. Regarding the signer of the note and mortgage, (not the co-signer), I thought the new loan servicer would have to report the loan on the credit report just as the prior original servicer did, CH7 status, closed account, 0 balance, etc. I’m trying to make sense of how this is supposed to be reporting from the new loan servicer for the signer of the note and mortgage who quitclaimed the property. Localization does not change any of the data or text objects that you created on the report. It will change special fields and tooltips that are a part of the viewer. I believe it might also change the formatting of dates and numbers. Anything more than that is translation not localization.

Can't see Document service in the WebCenter Spaces

Hi,
I have a problem with the document service in the WebCenter Spaces. I've followed the installation and configuration procedure from the documentation including the setting up the Content repository to UCM in Fusion Middleware control console, but I still can't see the Docuemnt link under the Content and Services tab in my spaces. However, if I go to the Documents page under the Pages tab, it will show me some folder content from the content server. Do I need to anything else to the document service available in WebCenter Spaces?

By connecting to the Oracle Content server, you will be able to get all out of the box Document Service Task Flows in the Resource Catalog. You will NOT see the Document service under the Content and Services tab however.

What are the differences between the Caching and the Software Update Services

New to working with OS X Server and am confused about the differences between the Caching Service and the Software Update Service...it seems to me that they overlap in that i) the Caching Service updates OS X software, iOS software and any apps purchased from the app store while ii) the Software Update service updates OS X software.
If the above is correct they why would one run both Services? I would think that one would run the Caching Service and call it a day!
And while on the subject, what about caching and pushing third party apps like MS Office?

IIS Website: Default Web Site
Port Number: 80
with default value for Web Application Name configured.
For SMS_AWEBSVC_CONTROL_MANAGER component, I am getting below error in Component Status:
Application Web Service Control Manager detected AWEBSVC is not responding to HTTP requests. The http status code and text is 400, Bad Request.
Possible cause: Internet Information Services (IIS) isn't configured to listen on the ports over which AWEBSVC is configured to communicate.
Solution: Verify that the designated Web Site is configured to use the same ports which AWEBSVC is configured to use.
Possible cause: The designated Web Site is disabled in IIS.
Solution: Verify that the designated Web Site is enabled, and functioning properly.

And awebsctl.log has the below error lines:

Welcome to the Forums.
I've worked with lenovo models that has an embedded Intel HD Graphics (these are units with core i3/i5/i7 CPU) but never ecountered a problem on them in installing Win7 SP1.
If you have one of these units, can you try to:
1. Update your Intel HD Graphics driver by running the Intel® Driver Update Utility (newest driver is v15.28.15.64.3062 (9.17.10.3062)
2. Download and install the Windows 7 SP1 Standalone Installer (choose the windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe 903.2 MB for Win7 64bit)
