HTTPdc library documentation

The help library delivered with Fusion to explain some of the HTTPdc library
features that comes with Forte L will be documented in their online
documentation for Forte 3.M. Meanwhile, a Technote as the help file
converted into a HTML page (not in a wonderfully readable format) but for
all of you not yet on 3M and not having bought Fusion, here it is.
There are some problems with HTTPdc though (according to other technotes).
Busy traffic to its server may result to "cannot connect" messages, so
HTTPdc is not yet past the experimental stages.

I do not know the exact answer but as far I know
HTTPSupport and HTTP libraries have much of the same functionality but they are two separate Forte libraries.
You cannot access objects created from the HTTP library, and call methods from the HTTPSupport library on them (i.e. - calling HTTPSupport's GetHeader method on HTTP's HTTPRequest object).
Implementations are different and incompatible.
More over, we know that UDS supports, data exchanges as SOAP encapsulated XML documents over HTTP using HTTPSupport library. Is that possible by using HTTP library also?

    Hi All,
Our forte application writes the data actuate report server and send SOAP message to execute the report using the data file on report server.
Then I send another SOAP message (getContents).
It runs fine when I tried in UDS and I get the PDF report back in the response.
But when I tried the same in Forte 3. M 2, the application hangs up on the SOAP request (getContents).
UDS uses the HTTPSupport library and Forte 3M2 uses httpdc Library.
Does anybody have any ideas how to make the SOAP request getContent work in Forte 3M2.
    Thanks in advance,
    Moses

  • TEDS library documentation and help

    Hello,
I am new to using the TEDS library in LabView and I am experiencing some frustration in learning all of the details of each VI in the TEDS library.  When I right click and try to select Help on all of the TEDS VI's it is grayed out.  Where can I find Help files or any other collection of documentation on all of the TEDS functions and TEDS DAQmx functions.
In the absense of documentation (that I can find) I have been working off of Knowledge Base articles and Examples and I am seeing some inconsestencies in how to read a TEDS AI channel.  The steps oulined in this KB article (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/CE93FAB3AA03809686256F7A004AB8B0?OpenDocument) are not consistent with the execution of reading a TEDS AI channel shown in the VI example see here (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/1524).  In the KB article it appears that one has to read the EEPROM on the sensor, parse the bit stream, extract the necessary information and then apply that information to the appropriate DAQmx Create Virtual Channel vi, then read the channel.  In the example it appears that all you have to do is select the physical channel and feed that channel into TEDS DAQmX Create Virtual Channel without necessarily applying the TEDS information pragmatically.  Is the TEDS information intrinsically bound to the creation of the physical channel through MAX? or do I need to read it explicitly and apply that information in my program?  Can anyone point me in the direction of how to actually used the TEDS information to read an AI channel.
Additionally I have been examining the .llb file in this article (http://sine.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4553) as an example for reading and writing  the EEPROM in a TEDS sensor.  I have yet to get to the point where I am wanting to edit the actual data in the TEDS sensor, but that is on my list of skills to master yet.  Any additional information in this area would be appreciated.

I am running LabView 8.5.1 with Windows XP

  • ITunes 7 - Loads Library, then won't open

    Hello,
I've had smooth running for a long while, but suddenly iTunes
    - LOADS library, but doesn't open a window with my music (the menu bar shows, but is unresponsive)
    - WON'T QUIT, even if I try FORCE QUIT.
I've restarted multiple times and repaired permissions - no luck.
Any ideas that won't trash my ratings and groups, etc.?
    Thanks.

What if I attach the firewire drive that my iTunes music is on to my Powerbook and open it in my Powerbook's iTunes? What library info does it use?
Whichever music library is on the drive, however, first you'll need to point iTunes to the drive via the iTunes preferences>advanced>general panel: see iTunes music folder location section.
    However, before you go there:
From your original post and response It sounds like there may be iTunes application corruption.
I would remove/download/reinstall iTunes. This would include removing the following:
    iTunes.app in your Applications folder
    iTunesX.pkg and iTunes.pkg in your /Library/Receipts folder
The 3 preference files I mentioned in my previous post
    iTunes folder in your /Library/Documentation/Applications
The reinstall ought to leave your iTunes music folder alone. However, just to be safe: make a copy (highlight/cmd. key + D) of your
    iTunes Music Library.xml
    iTunes Library
files in your /UserAccount/Music/iTunes folder and move these copies to your desktop.
Remember to "repair permissions" once the upgrade is complete.

  • Documentation for using Adobe Document Services

    Hi,
Is there any documentation available on how to use Adobe Document Services? I have installed Adobe Document Services for Netweaver 2004. But I am not able to use the services as I do not know how to access them (is it like Adobe Document Services exposes a set of APIs/webservices and we have to call them? If yes, is there any documentation on the same?).
    Thanks,

  • The SAP documentation "Experience"

    Hi everybody,
I have a small problem with Adobe Document Services and so I need to check the configuration that I did.
I decided to use the last available documentation. Here is my experience on this specific case of documentation finding :
I started from the installation guide I used to install my J2EE system :
    >SAP Enhancement Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 Java on Windows:
    >MS SQL Server
    >Based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including Enhancement Package 1
    OK, page 107, I can read :
    >Perform manual configuration as described in the Adobe Document Services Configuration
    >Guide at:
    >http://help.sap.com/nw70 SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Library (including Enhancement Package 1) English
    >SAP NetWeaver Library Technology Consultantu2019s Guide Business Task Management Adobe Document Services
    >(Configuration) Adobe Document Services Configuration Guide
    Let's go to help.sap.com
Here I find first a list of important SAP notes.
The first one seems to be a must reading : 894009 Adobe document services: Configuration Guide (NW 7.0)
Let's go to read this note : I have to copy and paste the note number because the HTML link has not yet been invented at help.sap.com !
I now display the note which tells me that :
    >The current version of the configuration guide for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 is at the Internet address >http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/adobe. Choose Installation & Configuration -> SAP Interactive Forms - Configuration Guides.
    >We recommend you always use the newest version.
    OK, let's go to www.sdn.sap.com
Of course the screens have changed since the note was written and I have to find by myself that the configuration guide is here :
    System Administration --> ADS Configuration
When I click on ADS Configuration, I'm back at the help.sap.com page where I came from !
On this page I can read :
    >Check the newest printable version of this Configuration Guide in the SAP Service Marketplace, available at >http://service.sap.com/adobe ® Media Library  ® Documentation.
Ok, back to service.sap.com where I am welcomed by this great message :
    >The content of your interest has been moved to the SAP Developer Network (SDN) Community within the SAP Community >Network.
    >Please use the following link to access all information on SDN:
    >Please click to display the information about
    >Adobe
    >in a separate browser window.
If you click on the Adobe link, you get back to http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/adobe !
So the loop has been looped twice and I have now got a headache !
I think there is a good space for documentation improvements from SAP, don't you think so ?
I propose that if you make the same kind of SAP documentation "experience", you can report here.
Exposing it might be a way to get improvements and to have fun too !
    Cheers,
    Olivier

  • Xcode - Downloading iOS Library fails: "...not found on server"

    Hi,
I have a problem with downloading the XCode library.
I get following error message when I try to download the iOS-Library/documentation at xcode->preferences:
"Failed to download documentation package for iOS 5.0 Library.
Documentation package was not found on server."
    For:
    - iOS 5.0 Library
    - Mac OS X 10.7 Library
I tried to reinstall XCode, but it's the same.
Even the same at another User account on this computer.
XCode Version 4.2.1, Build 4D502 (latest one)
    What could be the reason?
How can I get the library to XCode?
When I sign on at the Apple-Developer Homepage I can see all the library entries.
So it can't be a problem with my access rights.
    Thank you!

On Xcode 4.2 (4C199) for Snow Leopard, I had already had downloaded documentation a while ago.  Just pushed Check and Install Now and downloaded iOS 5 Library updates (372MB) and 222MB Xcode 4.2 Developer Library updates (222MB).  So it might work for you now.

  • Documentation for PrincipalMappingLoginModule?

    G'day,
Where can I find more information about PrincipalMappingLoginModule?
The SAP library documentation (see [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/b0/4d2b418a3edb2be10000000a1550b0/content.htm]) does not provide much info.
    Geoff

    G'day,
I have a login module that performs authentication via federation. The principal created by this authentication contains a bunch of claims, but does not exist in the netweaver user store. So although the login module stacks pass, the user check fails.
For example, I authenticate to domain X.COM from domain Y.COM as [email protected] via federation, but the UME only knows about users in domain X.COM.
As a quick hack, I've implemented a login module that maps a principal in one domain to a principal in another domain, so that user checks pass. But then I noticed PrincipalMappingLoginModule in the documentation and this may be more useful.
I've got some ideas for a UME that handles this transparently, but for now I am interested in principal mapping.

  • Photosmart C6280 won't print after trying to clear library/startupitems error

I have had a Library/Startupitems error ever since updating my HP software a couple of years ago.  In trying to finally resolve this issue myself, the HP website suggested removing and reinstalling the software.  There is no active link within the HP support pages for a download.  I found a C6200 series driver online, which I've installed, but now I cannot print anything but a test page, and I still have the Library/Startupitems error.  As it is, I cannot even find that file at all to fix the error.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi @Eric_V67
Since the C6280 doesn't have full feature software and drivers, I can't image the error is stemming from the printer. I can however, provide you with instructions to remove ALL HP software including the HP driver that was provided from the apple software update.
If I understand one of your previous messages, it looks like perhaps you had this printer installed previously and then upgraded the Mac OS. If this is the case, then old software that was previously compatible could be the root cause.
Once the HP software and drivers are removed, you can restart the computer and see if the error persists. The final step would then to be reinstall the Apple software update.
Follow the instructions below. I apologize in advanced this is not a fun task! I will try to make it easy to follow. Some of the files described in the following steps may not be found, if you can't find one of the files or folders on your computer, don't be alarmed.
Move the files and/or folders to the trash, drag and drop
    Macintosh HD/Applications//Hewlett-Packard folder
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/ - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard
In Macintosh HD/Library/Caches - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard
Macintosh HD/Library/Documentation/Help/ - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard
    Macintosh HD/Library/Frameworks/HPServicesInterface.framework
    Macintosh HD/Library/Frameworks/HPSmartX.framework
    Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture/TWAIN Data Sources/HP Scan Pro
In Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture/Scripts - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard
In Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard
Move Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/loginwindow.plist to the desktop. NOTE: Not removing the file loginwindow.plist during the manual uninstall could cause the uninstall to be unsuccessful.
In Macintosh HD/Library/Printer/hp - delete folder
In Macintosh HD/Library/StartupItems, drag the following folders to the trash, HP IO and HP Trap Monitor
In Macintosh HD/Users/USERNAME (this should have a symbol of a house next to it)/Library/Preferences, drag the following folders to the trash: *Any files beginning with com.apple.print, *Any files beginning with com.hp, *Any files beginning with Hewlett-Packard, *Any files beginning with HP or hp
In MacintoshHD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Printers, drag any All-in-One printers listed here into the trash.
Drag the HP icons from the Dock and drop it on an empty space on the desktop. The icon will disappear.
    Close all open windows.
Restart the computer. - The startup error may be gone now.
    Empty the Trash.
If the error is indeed gone, download and install the HP Printer Drivers for OS X and you should now be able to print and the start up error should cease to exist. If the error is still present, proceed to the next set of steps.
Remove the print driver and other software from a computer.
From the computer desktop, double-click the Macintosh HD  icon.
    Double-click the Library folder.
    Double-click the Printers folder.
Right-click the HP folder, and then select Move to Trash.
When prompted, type the Administrator name and Password for the computer, and then click OK. Wait for authentication to complete.
    Double-click the PPDs  folder.
    Double-click the Contents  folder.
    Double-click the Resources  folder.
Locate your printer in the printer list, and then right-click on your printer and select Move to Trash.
When prompted, type the Administrator name and Password for the computer, and then click OK. Wait for authentication to complete.
Click the Trash icon on the taskbar, click the Empty  button, and then click OK to empty the trash.
NOTEBy clicking OK, all items in your trash will be permanently deleted from your computer. To delete one item in the trash, click that item to highlight it, and then click OK.
On the upper-left corner of the computer desktop, click the Apple menu icon, and then click System Preferences on the drop-down menu.
    Double-click Print & Scan.
In the Printers list, click your HP printer, and then click the Minus button to delete it.
Restart the computer and now you have a fresh start. - The start up error should be gone now (If the error is gone now, there is no need to proceed to the repair Disk Permissions step, instead simply download the HP Printer Drivers for OS X.
After logging in, Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click  Applications, and then click Utilities.
    Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer .
Restart the computer - At this point you should no longer see the startup error
Download and install the HP Printer Drivers for OS X, once the install is successful we can then delete the loginwindow.plist from the desktop.
If by chance you still see the error please post a screenshot of it so I can continue to work with you towards a complete solution!!

  • Runtime shared library in Flash CS5

I'm trying to use OSMF as a runtime shared library in Flash CS5, but Flash keeps on crashing all the time I'm trying to change that swc from Merged into code to runtime shared library. Whatever URL / policy file Im using, Flash always crashes at compilation, and then after that there's no way to reopen the FLA without Flash crashing. Very annoying. I'm glad it's just a test project and not production files... Anyone already experienced the same kind of bug?
UPDATE: just tested it on Win XP SP2, same behavior, same nasty result

Funny, I have the same problem with a shared library (documentation on this site makes no sense to me, that is). And the Adobe Help desk refers me to this forum!
What I know is that an item in a shared library cannot have names with spaces, so should be like "btn-up" and not "btn up".
Further you should while activating the item in Libraries look for "Properties" (on the right hand side of the pull down of the Library) and define them as "Export for sharing" (my version is in Dutch and for Mac so these labels are named differently and in a different place).
Then in the movie you want to use them in, you open import (under file) and open the .fla of your first document as external library.
In the beginning it is as easy as that, but then creating a library in movies that are in use for an extended period of time (using spaces in their names, etc.) is a whole new ball game.

    hi,
if you want the actual help sources among the transactions (context sensetive)
    you have to make:
    call transaction SR13:
    switch to tab PlainHTMLHTTP:
    for online access:
    make entries like:
    docu_en - WN32 - IWBHELP - help.sap.com - saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata - EN - default=yes
    for offline access:
    change help.sap.com - saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata
