Https pages not loading on firefox browser.

Hi,
Am using Oracle Application server 4.0.8.2 version and configured PL/SQL cartridge code.
After installing SSL certificate, could not able to load the HTTPS pages in Firefox browser.
Error
Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at <server name>
The above error is browser specific.
Any help? why the pages giving that error. Is there any relation with SSL certificate or Oracle Application Server?
Regards,
K

This does not seem to be due to certificate. This seems like a site connection problem.
There is a link between Security Certificates and these browsers. Newer browsers do not by default let you go to sites which use invalid certificates or are expired. But Certificate related errors talk about the error, such as whether the certifying authority is trustworthy, or the certificate is valid, or is current, etc. In that case, Firefox 3.0 stops from moving ahead but tells about the error based on certificate. IE7 should also behave similarly in that scenario.
- Ensure that the site is up and running and the application server is not down for any reason.
- How do you see it on IE6 and IE7?
- Get HTTP trace and see what errors you get.
update with the results.

  • Pages not loading in firefox unless refreshed several times but loads in other browsers not an issue of firewall malware or ipv6

a week ago firefox suddenly stopped loading pages unless refreshed several times but loads in other browsers, not an issue of firewall malware or ipv6 I've tried all that I uninstalled and reinstalled also. I also tried disabling my addons.

    Hey man,
If I'd had that problem and done things that you'd done and seen no results. I'd delete FF again but this time fully - clean the registry as well. Then I'd remove java environment and everything related to it, sdk, jre etc...Reboot the PC and reinstall the newest version of FF, then download the latest versions of java platforms, sdk etc... and reinstall the as well.
    Hope this helps,

  • Web pages not loading in any browser (Chrome, ff, safari); error

    Hi Folks,
I'm unable to load pages in any browser, strangely I can load facebook, twitter and google. I recieve an error err_empty_response.
The problem is local to my laptop as I've been in phone contact with my isp, pinged a non-loading website via the terminal, From what I've read online it could be something in my keychain or malware? I don't use a VPN or anything similar to browse with.
I'm someone might have an idea as I'm completely stumped. This is the first time this sort of issue has happened in about 18 months of owning my first MBA.

  • Pages not loading on safari browser

I bought this from an acquaintance- so it's used but seemed to be working fine at their house.  My wi-fi connection does not seem to be the problem.  Yahoo mail works fine, just not regular browsing on safari.  I'm wondering if this ipod got damaged somehow?  Anyone have advice?
    Thank you!

  • 2 out of 6 pages not loading browser background image

Does anyone know why out of 6 pages on my website, only 2 of them are not loading the choosen browser background image? All other pages load them in when uploaded to the site online. They appear to be correct in iWeb before publishing.
Once they are published, it is just white. If I select a color instead of the image, the color displays. Thoughts?

One more question. I know that when you publish your
site to a non .mac acct, the podcasting code needs to
be changed. Can someone help me out with that? You
click the subsribe button and it launches iTunes, but
    then it errors out. Thoughts?
Your RSS URL is invalid: http://www.onetvshow.com/ONE/our%20podcast/rss.xml
www.onetvshow.com is not listed with WHOIS.
Does anyone know of a free/cheap program I can use to
edit some of the code. I need to insert some form

  • Specific Content Will Not Load With Any Browser

This is something I have never run into and can't solve...
I have a D-Link DPR-1260 wireless multi-function print server. My machines are a MacBook Pro with 10.5.1, an iBook G4 with 10.5, a Mac Mini with 10.4.11, and a Mac Mini with 10.4.10.
Connecting to the printer via LPD is a non-issue and works fine with all the machines.
The strange problem occurs when accessing the web based services of the DPR-1260. Scanning, even using Windows, is not supported by the MFP software (Epson) but is done via the browser. Also network settings, etc.
The good (normal): Using a machine running 10.4.11 or 10.4.10 all the web content loads and works fine using any Safari, FireFox, Camino, or Opera. Even using the beloved IE 5.2.3 everything works but the Scan page. Ditto for Win XP SP2 using IE 7 or FireFox and running under Parallels or booting directly in on the MBP.
The bad (weird): On either the MBP running 10.5.1 or iBook running 10.5 only the "simple" pages will load using ANY browser. I don't normally do all caps for emphasis, but I have never seen an issue like this. I cannot access the Scan, Advanced (settings), or Setup (more settings) pages. Even the simple login page only works on occasion.
This certainly appears to be related to OS X 10.5 but I cannot figure out how.
For reference, I have tried every conceivable combination of browser, wired vs. wireless connection to the unit, disabled firewall, disabled LittleSnitch, watched traffic using tcpdump, and looked for odd ports on the print server using nmap.
Given that them problem occurs using WebKit browsers and browsers not using WebKit, and that it works properly using 10.4.* with any browser, I assuming this is some sort of system level problem.
I can provide even more details, but this post is getting too long. If you think you can help and have any questions please ask.
Please, any help is much appreciated!

    Yes.
As I see it, it's clearly not a JS implementation issue as not all these browsers handle JavaScript identically (although as a web developer I wish they did). Obviously Safari and Shiira, the two WebKit based browsers, handle it the same, Opera, FireFox, Camino, iCab, and IE 5.2.3 have different implementations.

  • Web Pages not loading on Mobile Devices

Browsing web pages not working on mobile devices
I have bt inifinity 2, from my laptop and mac (with same wifi connection) webpages load no problem, from my android tablet and iphone (with same wifi connection) web pages not loading. On these devices I can load youtube videos, and apps have connections/load data, it seems to be limited just to browsing webpages.
I have tried changing ssid for the 2 channels, I have tried disabling wifi on the router, and using apple time capsule as the router, everything seems to result in the same problem, you cannot browse web pages on mobile devices.
previously i had adsl from bt and didnt have these issues.

  • One website will not load on any browser, will work on mobile phone

One website will not load on any browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome). Have turned off all security programs and firewalls, have tried in Safe Mode, will not load. It works on my smartphone. Can load the basic site, but not the sign-in page. Says Connected at the bottom of the page, but says Connecting at the top, and the little circle goes around counter clockwise; ran for one hour, still didn't load. It used to load, don't know if I did something or downloaded some program to make it stop.

You can try to access the website in a New Private Window.

  • Videos will not load in Firefox only. Have reinstalled, restored, etc.

Videos (from YouTube, Facebook, websites, etc.) will not load in Firefox. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, restoring all settings to default, disabling all addons, extensions, etc. When I try to load a video, a dark rectangle appears where the video should and my cursor just shakes. In Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc. the videos load and play with no problems, no hesitation, so it must be some setting or some bad file with Firefox, but I feel like I've tried everything.
I'm using Windows 7 on an HP laptop. I've checked my Firefox settings against those on my desktop PC and can find no variances. This problem is driving me mad, so please help.....

    Hello,
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
    * [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
    * [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
You can also disable hardware acceleration in Flash: <br> <br>
Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems|this article]] for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).
To disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:
#Go to this [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues Adobe Flash Player Help page].
#Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
#Click on '''Settings''' in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
    # Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel. <br/> <br/>[[Image:fpSettings1.PNG]] <br/>
    # Remove the check mark from '''Enable hardware acceleration'''.
    # Click '''Close''' to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
    # Restart Firefox.

  • Portal will not load in web browser

    Hello,
I have a clustered portal and the second portal (<b>Ep6 SP2 Patch 29</b>) server in the cluster will not load in a web browser.  The portal appears to start correctly and joins the cluster with the other server but when you try to access it in the browser it does not load.  The browser just sits there.
I found that if I stop the dispatcher on the second server the portal login page does load minus the images.
Any ideas on what my problem could be?
    Thanks,
    Keith

    Keith,
Make sure the Cluster configuration is right. When did you start seeing this problem?
    Host A: Dispatcher->server 0, server 2
    Host B: Dispatcher->server 0, server 2
i.e The instance IDs are mapped right.
Also try to hit the individual servers in the cluster the following way.
    http://hostname1:50000/irj/portal;sapj2ee_irj=instance_id sends a request to server 0.
    http://hostname2:51000/irj/portal;sapj2ee_irj=instance_id sends a request to server 1.
This may give more clues. Unfortunately I don't have access to EP6 SP2 to lookup and tell you the right parameters to look for.

  • Facebook activity feeds do not load in Firefox 9.0.1 Mac

The facebook social plugin activity feed found on this page:

Below is one example of a website (in the bottom of the blue right bar) where there is a blank/white space instead of a feed. This is happening on multiple sites... in fact I cannot find an example of where the FB activity feed is working properly in Firefox.

I have a Flash slide show on the home page of my website that has stopped working in FireFox 8.01. The Flash movie plays fine in other browsers and on PCs running FireFox, but not on either my MacBook or iMac running FireFox 8.01.
