Hub 2.0 to Windows 7 PC via Powerline Help Needed

I have my PC in a small home study and after some problems with the extension socket that my Hub 2.0A was connected to , BT recommended that I move my hub to my master socket in another room. This has improved my BB speeds but I have to connect via wireless which occasionally drops out. Somebody gave me 2 spare Powerline adapters and suggested I connected via ethernet cable. I checked the adapters are in sync and when I connect them up a "Local" connection is established but I can't get them to let me access to the Internet and on my Windows 7 "Network and Sharing Centre" the connection shows up as a "Public", "Unidentified Network". No matter what I do, I don't seem to be be able to get beyond this so could somebody advise please?

Hi there, I would so appreciate any help with a similar problem please.
I have homehub 2 set up and desktop and laptop receiving wireless ok. However I am disabled and am stuck in bed for long periods and would love to be able to use my laptop from my bedroom but the signal is too weak as it is an old house with thick stone walls. A friend gave me a Devolo Wireless extender DLAN- whatever that means! There is 2 blue 3 pin plugs, one has a little aerial on it both have sockets that (i think) an ethernet cable would fit in. I dont have software but can, i think, download from Devolo.
When I plug the aerial plug in my bedroom my laptop picks it up and lists Devolo in 'available wireless networks' but cannot connect to the internet.
I have tried plugging the other one by the homehub and connected in one of the 4 ports in the hub but still no joy.
I use Windows XP and the laptop is old and has a Belkin N wireless network card.
My carer has a netbook that can pick up the homehub (without the extender) most of the time so I guess the age and capabilities of the laptop dont help but, as I mentioned, it does work nearer to the homehub!
Sorry it's such an essay but I am desperate, having spoken to several folk at it help who havent got the foggiest.

Can anyone plz tell me about how to install windows on W2100z.I tried in lot of ways but to no avail.First of all i tried win xp 32 and 64 bit cds but no success.Then i created the winxp 64 cd by runing the xp_reburn script from supplement cd 2.4 but same problem of "Setup didnot find any harddrives attached to your system" appears.Then i attached a floppy drive and tried floppy disk containing drivers of Scsi from supplement cd and after pressing F6 i provided the floppy,it shows the menu containing four driver names ,i tried each one of them but same old problem comes later in the setup.
Can anyone help me in this regard ?

Windows 7 and Palm Centro help needed please

Can someone recommend an inexpensive blue tooth external adapter that is compatible with Windows 7, 64 bit so that I can sync my Palm Centro?

The CD that came with these handhelds does not have a 64-bit driver. Neither does Palm Desktop 6.2.2. But the company that took over PalmOS did make one.

I am trying to install Corel Draw x5 on windows xp pro via Parallels 7 and having an issue . it states about 99% through the install that it is missing a file any suggestions?

I am trying to install Corel Draw x5 on my new iMAC. I am trying to install it on windows XP Pro via Parallels 7. I have already installed some other programs without any issues so this has me puzzled. whenever the install reaches about 99% complete it says it can not find 2 files(sorry I cant recall what it was).

The error message I get is that iTunes is trying to incorrectly open Visual C services.
Is there somebody at Apple who actually read these things or are we on our own without any iTunes?

Connecting Time Capsule to a Windows 7 PC via Ethernet

Hi,
I have the following network configuration:
- Speedport (Deutsche Telekom AG) as DSL Router (I need that router for the IPTV)
- Connected to this router are two laptops and the Time capsule (WLAN)
Everything is working fine. However, I try now for days to connect my Windows 7 PC via Ethernet to this network via the Time Capsule. Due to location it is not possible to connect the Windows 7 PC directly to DSL Router or to connect the Time Capsule by cable to the router.
I think I tried every possible configuariton but without any improvements. Does anyone have an Idea what I can do ???
Windows is always telling "no identified network" and it always shows a park bench

Yes, just not on the RAID. Boot Camp Assistant will only partition a single drive containing OS X. You cannot partition a RAID array.

USB gaming mouse unrecognized by Windows 7 Pro (via BootCamp)

Hey,
I bought a Zowie EC1 Gaming USB mouse. But when I plug it into my MacBook Pro 15" running Windows 7 Pro (via BootCamp), then the mousewheel flashes blue shortly for 1 second or so, and the driver installation process starts. After awhile it says hardware unsuccesfully installed. And when I re-plug the mouse in the same USB port it says unrecognized.
I think maybe it's just some buggy drivers? Anybody experienced something similar with other mice maybe? Or know how I solve this problem.

I looked around on the web and read a bit about your Zowie EC1. It's a very nice mouse that I need to put on my Christmas list
But it seems that it should be recognized by Windows as a normal USB mouse and install generic drivers. I have a couple of questions:
1) Are there any Windows Updates for your hardware waiting to be installed?
2) Do you have all the Apple Boot Camp drivers installed? Apple just released 3.3 if you're not on Lion (which is 4.0)

Go to the iTunes preferences, go to the Store tab and check to see if the Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases. Also check to see if any purchases are hidden as well.

Your issue is completely different. You are running Snow Leopard. There is no download for Windows Support software for Snow Leopard, hence the error you see. Snow Leopard Windows Support software is on the Snow Leopard installation disk.
You need the Snow Leopard installation disk or a replacement for it.

Well if there is a EFI block, then running a program in OS X isn't going to do a lick of good.
After all EFI was designed for Trusted Computing and Digital Rights Management, to act between the OS and hardware, can read drives, contact the Internet and everything.
Windows doesn't use EFI, will have UEFI in Windows 8 though.

Installing Windows 7 Professional via Boot Camp Assistant on late 2013 iMac 27"

So here I am with a brand new 27" iMac bought on Nov 3. Machine is top of the line w/ 3.5GHz quad-core intel i7Core, 4GB Video Card, 3TB Fusion Drive and right out the box on first start up and first update, I install Windows 7 via Boot Camp. Best install of all time, right on through no problems whatsoever and I'm thinking - Problems? what problems! HA! ... well a week later Windows 7 crashes from my own bone-headed mistakes and i go to reinstall windows thinking oh i'll be down for maybe 2 hrs? but it'll fix my problem. No way.. 1 week and an exchange-for-another-identical-imac-from-store later plus $300+ dollars in tech services Here I am with no resolution to this problem of installing Windows 7 via boot camp. I just absoultely couldn't get past the stinkin' step of "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing partition... yadda yadda yadda"
UNTIL NOW - 9:07AM on 11/19/13 I have SOLVED the problem. Read from here down to get my instructions (with Pictures of course!!)
Before you even start this is VERY IMPORTANT. Things will go to all **** if you don't.
USB ports. On the back of my iMac, there are 4 of them. From Left to Right (you have to acknowledge this or things will never work), place your Super Drive (CD/DVD Drive) in the Left slot. Next, place your USB Mouse in the 2nd from Left slot. Finally, place your USB/Flash Drive in the 3rd Slot (it will be 2nd from the Right). See Fig1.

Now you go to Boot Camp Assistant, start it up, and check off the SECOND option:
"Download the latest Windows software from Apple". See Fig2.

Let the download do its thing and when its done, Boot Camp will advance to the partitioning screen. Allocate the space you want for the Windows 7 Partition and hit "Install".
CRUCIAL: Immediately after hitting "Install", Boot Camp will pop up a message stating that the USB/Flash drive currently inserted providing Windows Software drivers brings a functionality issue and Boot Camp will disable the drive to continue. This has to happen in order to avoid the dreaded "A new setup partition or existing partition cannot be located" message that comes during the Windows 7 Install when picking your partition. I am convinced that this pop up only occurs when you have your DVD drive, Mouse, and USB/Flash drives inserted into their appropriate slots.
After you accept Boot Camp's disabling of the USB drive, install is pretty standard there on out. Boot Camp will create the partition, the computer will reboot and begin its Windows 7 install via your CD/DVD drive. Also want to note that I used a wireless keyboard during the entrie intallation process. I had a wired keyboard installed in my numerous attempt this past week b/c I had read in so many forums a wired keyboard was better for this install - well NOT IN THIS CASE. In fact the added USB ports that come with the wired keyboard only confused things for me even further.
I am happy to say that Windows 7 has installed successfully on my iMac, and I've reached its appropriate updates as well. Now onto 3DS Max 2014 install.

If you need more partitions you'll need to use something like GPT fdisk (gdisk) to create the partitions in the GPT first. Then add the Windows partition only to the MBR and flag it as bootable. gdisk can be googled and downloaded for Mac OS X off sourceforge. It is not a GUI tool.

How can I partition internal HDD after installing Windows 7 Professional via Boot Camp 4.0?

I recently purchased MacBook Pro 13" (Late 2011) model with OS X v10.7.2 Lion installed. I've upgraded to OS X v10.7.3 Lion and updated all other software.
I require Windows 7 for some Windows based softwares that do not support Mac OS X. Therefore, used Boot Camp 4.0 to install Windows 7 and then tried partitioning single internal HDD to have 3 partitions (4 total including BOOTCAMP partition). Disk Utility created a 648.5MB partition and then I was able to create 3 other partitions of custom sizes. After applying these changes, I got an error message that said selected volume size is too small. I resized this 648.5MB partion to a custom size and had total 4 partitions, including BOOTCAMP.
After reapplying these changes, BOOTCAMP partition was removed and I was left with only 3 partitions and empty space.

Cannot find other than "Camera Roll" in my PC when my iPad2 is connected to Window 8.1 via USB to my Lenovo PC
