Hub Phone (Searching for Hub) Problem
Hello, i have BT Hub Phone version 2.1 A Handset software version v1935i006f007 Type A
It has stopped working and constantly says searching for Hub. I have read a lot of forums and tried everything to get it to work, but to no avail I have tried to reset it but it just says not available, in fact it says not available for everything i try to do.
My home hub is Software version 8.1.H.J (Type A)
Any help will be much appreciated,

Thanks for posting. Can I ask how long have you had the handset? Did the problem occur suddenly or did it happen gradually? Have you tried resetting the hub? Is the phone light on the hub lit? Let me know as many details on the problem as possible and we'll take it from there.

Spa phone searching for spaM:A:C semicolons! in its filename
Provisioning a new set of spa504G phones. I've always used
for spa504G.cfg, the phone finds it. I've always used:

The new set of phones weren't provisioning, so I ran a tcpdump on the tftpserver. Sure enough, for the first time ever, the phones are looking for:
spae8:ed:f3:6b:48:b2.xml instead of spae8edf36b48b2.xml. I copied the xml to use colons and sure enough the phone provisioned and connected to my pbx.
So... how do I make it stop doing this? This is a tragedy, you have no idea how difficult it will be to get more spa phones at this point.

I also tried <Profile_Rule>tftp://ipaddress/xml/spa$MAC.xml</Profile_Rule> in the initial config file.
The phones came with firmware 7.5.2 and I always upgrade to 7.5.3 using:
<Upgrade_Rule ua="na">($SWVER ne 7.5.3)? tftp://ipaddress/sw/spa50x-30x-7-5-3.bin</Upgrade_Rule>
however, this time it's not upgrading, either.
Any ideas? Anyone else seen this before? How can I make it stop, using special characters in the filename is not going to work for me.<Profile_Rule>tftp://ipaddress/xml/spa$MA.xml</Profile_Rule>

Well, the $MA macro should expand to MAC with no colons. And it work this way on all firmware versions I meet. So unless it's a bug specific to 7.5.2 version, it should work. I can't test this particular case as I have no phone with 7.5.2 firmware.

Wrong. It's not possible to upgrade pre-7.5.2b version to post-7.5.2b version directly. You should upgrade to 7.5.2b first. Read release notes. Also, you should consider upgrade to latest (7.5.6) version rather than to somewhat ancient 7.5.3.

I am having a problem deleting rented movies. One shows up as a grey box. Apparently it never downloaded. Plus two more that I have watched are still there. Any suggestions.???

My iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 are running 6.1.3 with no such problem and the same with the overwhelming majority of iOS devices running 6.1.3. -
Search for object problem in LV 2013
Search does not find objects in lvlib. 13.0.1 and 13.0.1f2, Windows 7.
First try:
Open the search dialog
Select 'Objects' radio button
Select my project as 'Application Instance:"
Click 'Select Object' button and browse to functions/file io/config file VIs/Open Config Data.vi
Search Scope is 'All VIs...'
Uncheck 'Ignore VIs in vi.lib'
Click 'Find'
Results list is empty.
At least one vi with the search target was already open.
Second try:
Open a VI with the above referenced VI
right click 'Open Config Data.vi'
select 'Find all Instances'
Results list shows all instances across several files
Observation:
Using my first search method, the name of the vi is 'Open Config Data.vi'
Using the second search method, the name of the vi is 'NI_LVConfig.lvlibpen Config data.vi' - note full path

Just over a week ago, I returned to BT Internet from another provider and have the 2.0 hub. I recently purchased, from a well known online auction house, a BT 2.1 hubphone which had been connected by the previous owner for one day only. I have spent the last day trying to get it to connect, but the only message I can receive is "searching for hub" and it will not register, All four lights are working solidly and if I plug in a corded phone to the hub, it works well. I have tried switching all off and rebooting, and pressing the wireless association button and find handset buttons on the side of the hub all to no avail. Any ideas on how I can get the hub phone to work. Mnay Thanks

Being as the phone light is lit on the hub, you MUST of asked for BBT (broadband talk)
and BT forgot to send you a brand new hub phone out.
I'd be on the phone to them, to ask why no phone was sent out

Has anyone else had issues with phone network being unavailable on iPhone 4 since updating to iOS 5.0.1? My iPhone 4 is continually searching for a network and does not find AT&T, my provider. I swapped SIM cards with another iPhone 4 running ios 4 and established this is a device problem, not a SIM card problem.
Does the device get any signal?
Sounds like the device may have had a hardware failure. If it is out of warranty, the only option is the Out of Warranty replacement.
AppleCare is only an option if it is still under the original warranty. -
I have just updated my i phone 4s with the new ios 6 software and most of my apps have disapeared when i got to the app store and search for an app i cant find i click on it and it says the app is installed. but i cant find it in my apps if i double click on it it opens. Any ideas?

Snow Leopard 10.6.5 causes iMac wifi hub problems
I have used my iMac's Airport feature to temporarily make my iMac a WiFi hub for our iPad for several months.
It worked like a charm. We'd just click the Airport icon to turn it on when we needed it and then turn Airport off when we were done with the iPad.
But with 10.6.5, the Sharing window under Internet & Wireless within System Preferences changed a lot and it appears that the simple functionality of pre 10.6.5 is gone.
Now, when we click the icon to turn Airport on, Airport attempts to connect to other WiFi networks that it detects (mostly my neighbors' routers) instead of becoming a WiFi hub. In order to stop it searching for WiFi networks and become a WiFi hub, I have to go into System Preferences -> Internet & Wireless -> Sharing, highlight "Internet Sharing" and uncheck the box, recheck the box, answer the prompts and THEN Airport will begin to broadcast a wifi signal and stop trying to detect other available WiFi networks.
Once I perform these steps, I can then turn WiFi on and off as before, until I reboot.
After each reboot, I have to go through the same procedure again (a procedure which is beyond my wife, who is the main user of the feature).
I know many people will say "get a router", but the Airport WiFi broadcast option was a great little feature for providing a temporary WiFi hub for occasional use.
I spent quite some time with Apple support on this issue, without finding a better solution.
Any thoughts?No scripts were needed before 10.6.5 and non are needed now.
You just go into Preferences -> Internet & Wireless -> Sharing
In 10.6.5, just highlight Internet Sharing and under "Share your connection from" select "Ethernet" and under "To computers using" select Airport.
The "look" of the Sharing window within Preferences looks VERY different in 10.6.5. But the choices are essentially the same.
But, as I posted, the functionality has become more awkward. -
When I try to connect to the wifi it will not unlock. It will not even search for a network. I have reset the phone and reset the network. Any ideas.
I Can do that for home but not at friends and work places, nobody else has any problem joining it!! I'm wondering if restoring factory settings will solve it but don't really want to do that as its a hassle to reinstall everything for it to not solve the problem!!

I had following problem: When I tried to search for a song in the Itunes Store I kept getting message "Accessing Itunes Store" (even though it appeared I was already in the store) Everytime I typed a character in the Search box the Accessing Itunes Store message would pop up
I was told to uninstall Itunes and Quick time programs and reinstall latest versions, which I have done and now have Itunes 10.3
I still got same messages so I tried a few things and when I went to my itunes account profile I got message "Requested Resouce not found"
Don't know where to go from this point. HELPI have the same issue. I took it the genius bar and called talked to tier 2 phone support. They have standard thing where you uninstall all apple software in a certain order and then reinstall 64bit itunes. That did nothing (tried it 4 times).
I've gotten two clues so far.
One is that at the store if I plug someone else's iphone 4 in then itunes acts the same way. So it is not the phone. Two is tier 2 phone support told me to try syncing it with a fresh user account (an admin one). I did that and itunes was just fine, it did not freeze.
So there appears to be some conflict with the software, music files, whatever that is on my current user account (also an admin account). I ran virus and malware detectors and found nothing. Now I'm going to try putting my music, movies, apps, etc in the new user account and see if the phone will sync then.
I know its not much but thats where I'm at. I hope it helps. -
I turned my iPhone 4s on this morning and it has been 'searching' for network ever since. I have this problem a lot and it sometimes takes 24 hours to get my network (O2) - anything I can do?
I had this problem when I first had the phone in January which resulted in a new handset. It only seems to happen after my phone gets turned off and/or battery dies and I turn it back on......nightmare!! O2 weren't a great deal of help last time - took nearly 3 weeks before they agreed to send a new handset. Thanks for your advice

Jabber - Search for phone Numbers (extensions)

as on the old Cisco Personal Communicator there was a possibillity to search for extension numbers on the search field. If I enter an extension number on the Jabber Client on Windows, there is no Name and Picture shown from this employee. For example, if you type in 1234 in the field it just says "call 1234" but I want so find the employee which extension is 1234.
On the jabber-config.xml I already tryed the UDS and EDI method.
So I'm just asking if there is a general problem with this function or if this is just an configuration issue. If it would help, I'll post the jabber-config.xml.

Problem with searching for 'empty' emails with BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH
Dear ABAP'ers.
I have got a small problem with BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH.
I Use this BAPI to search for Business Partners with the Email condition.
I put rhe Email to lv_email variable, it works ok.
lv_email = ' '
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH'
EXPORTING
email = lv_email
TABLES
searchresult = lt_searchresult <= returns no BuPas
return = ls_bapiret2 .
But I need to have a possibility to search for such Business Partners who have got no email address. Unfortunatellu when I pass an empty lv_email to BAPI, it returns no Business Partners whilst such BuPas exist in database.
Is there some possibility to search for those BuPas who have got no email address assigned?
I will be thankful for help.

i have problem with my wifi in 4 S, i cant connect to any wifi itried resetting network setting and reset all setting but the result was the same, its only keeps searching for wifi and cant find any, itried to use OTHER but also didnt work.please help me???
If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

I am having a painful problem with itunes 10, everytime I go everytime I go into the itunes store to search for a song, even if I type one letter Itunes will instantly launch into search mode and doesn't stop, so because I can never get past putting in the first letter or two, I'm unable to search and download any songs. I am on the latest Imac Intel core i7 Mac OS X, can anybody help?
