Huge favour - screenshots for Dreamweaver CS3, Contribute CS3 or Fireworks CS3 please

Please accept my apologies for this rather cheeky request,
but I work for a PC magazine and I'm editing a piece on CS3 from
one of our US sister publications. Unfortunately though, I don't
have any screenshots to go with it. Is there anybody here who has
CS3 versions of Dreamweaver, Fireworks or Contribute for the PC,
and who could send me screenshots that we could publish please?

Adobe AIR 1.5.2 Extension for Dreamweaver CS3

I downloaded what I thought to be the updated version of Adobe AIR Extension for Dreamweaver CS3 for the new AIR 1.5.2 release, but it looks like the extension (Adobe_AIR_CS3.mxp) is still the 2008 version (exactly the same file size, and Dreamweaver overwrites the version number I manually input ("1.5.2") in the Adobe AIR configuration file with "1.5".
Attention Dreamweaver and Adobe AIR teams: when will the extension be updated for AIR version 1.5.2?

Paypal Extension for Dreamweaver CS3

I am trying to get the free Paypal extension for Dreamweaver CS3 but can't find it anywhere. Web Assist currently only has the extension available for CS4 and above.
I've searched Google but every link that says I can get the extension for CS3 just goes back to Web Assists page with the newer version which does not support CS3.
Does anyone know where I could get the Paypal extension for Dreamweaver CS3?

I don't know why you need an extension for this. PayPal gives you the necessary code to use. It's a simple matter of copy & paste.

Preparing images for Dreamweaver cs3, using InDesign for templates

Hi, I'm about to start putting all my files together for my
website, but need to know in what form to save my images. I know
they should be jpegs or gifs, but what resolution, and what size?
Should I size them close to the size I want to see them on my
website? For example if I want to make a little linked (like a
thumbnail that you click on) image of a painting, and have the full
size image of that painting open up, should I save that image in
two different sizes?
Also, the tutorial I'm learning from says I can make a
template for use in Dreamweaver, with Photoshop or Illustrator, but
I'd rather use InDesign. Can I use InDesign files as templates in
Dreamweaver? If so, in what form should I save them?

it won't be of any practical use, except to print out and use
as a guide.
on the images, make them the PIXEL size they need to be in
the web page.
If you aren't sure yet what exact size they will be, make
them a bit
oversize. Then after changing the html display size of them
in dreamweaver
(click on the image, then press shift key and drag corner of
image to
resize) you can jot down the pixel size shown in the dw
properties
inspector, and resize the image in an image editor to those
pixel
dimensions. For a resolution, just use 72 ppi as a number to
put there.
It's the pixel dimension that matters.

Control postback in dropdownlist for Dreamweaver CS3

Well liaisons a database with 3 tables to my web form. Through Dataset I make dropdownlist derive their values from these tables is that they are dynamic, so that when the user makes a selection in the second dropdownlist any item adds values to the first and if I select an item in the second dropdown the third dropdownlist takes data related to both the first and second dropdown until everything right here but the problem that I introduced that in making the autopostback in the first 2 to take the consultation of the value tables selected by the user switches or rather returns to be charged as it was when the page. Or if the initial dropdownlist the user selects the area either mexico to make the car postback to add the provinces or states in the second dropdown said this again where every country but shows me the states of Mexico in the second. I have to be kept in the dropdown selections users.

Does this only happen on the area that you have created
slices?

Dreamweaver CS3 debug tools for CF8?

Does anyone know of/have any native or 3rd party tools or
extensions that will debug CF code (like the CFEclipse debugger)
for DW CS3?

If you have installed the CF8 extension for Dreamweaver CS3 (
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/coldfusion/8/dreamweaverupdate/cf8_tags_for_dw.mxp),
the CF8 debug tools are included.

I've just downloaded (and installed) CFMX7.02 and Dreamweaver
CS3. The extension for Dreamweaver in /wwwroot/CFIDE/installers ...
file name: CFMX7DreamWeaverExtensions.mxp says isn't compatible w/
Dreamweaver CS3 when installed using the Extension Manager that
came with the Dreamweaver CS3 installation.
Any help on getting CF extensions for Dreamweaver CS3 would
be appreciated.

I believe that extension was for DW MX 2004, everything after
that should have the server side CF stuff in it.

Certification Dreamweaver cs3 when will the Certification
test for Dreamweaver CS3 be available be take ?..
should i study for Dreamweaver 8 ? and when the S3 test is
available will you still be able to take the test for 8?

Cant Update Dreamweaver CS3 #9 3481

I recently bought a copy from adobe of CS3 Dreamweaver and
all is well except a couple of needs to restart now and there. I
tried to update using "help" , "updateing" and it says no
interconnection to internet can be found. I am connected and tried
disableing my firewal ZoneAlarm, the firewall in trend and all
other possible problems and still get the same message. Is there a
way to update via download or do you have a soution?

You're mistaken. There were no updates for Dreamweaver CS3, apart from the Middle East version.

Dreamweaver CS3 and Windows 8 Issues

I have Dreamwever CS3 and Windows 8 and I keep getting errors that can only be resolved by closing down DW and losing the work I have processed so far. I happens mostly when I use extentions such as Webassaist Data Bridge. I have visited their forum but they advised me to checkout you trouble shooting service.

Hi,
If Dreamweaver is working fine without the extensions, I am not sure if we should be troubleshooting Dreamweaver. Just to be sure, Windows 8 is not a supported version for Dreamweaver CS3. It could possibly work, but wouldn't have been tested on Windows 8 as Adobe supports only the previous two versions of any software.
This is my best answer. You could wait for other experts for their opinion.

Unable to uninstall Dreamweaver cs3

Ive been trying for 2 days now to uninstall it.
I had done a system restore on my (WINDOWS) PC because of
some problems I started having, and Dreamweaver CS3 stopped
working. Its a trial version downloaded from here.
Ive read here:

But none of that helps, or applies to me.
When I click on the dreamweaver.exe file in
programs->Adobe-> dreamweaver cs3, it says:

help."
When I try running the installer file again, it says:
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 is already installed. To remove or
modify this software please use it's original installer.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 Cannot be installed because it
conflicts with:
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
Please help me. I just want to get it off my PC now and im
VERY frustrated.

You might want to try Lynda.com. They offer an outstanding

online training courses and are very affordable. You can sign
up for $25 a
month and just go as long as you need to. All of their titles
allow you to
go through the first four or five movies for free, just to be
sure the

Trouble with Dreamweaver CS3 Install

Greetings all. I installed Dreamweaver CS3. After this, I had
a system problem (unrelated) to which I had to do a system restore
which went back to before Dreamweaver CS3 was installed.
I now want to install The Web Premium CS3, but the install
says I can't install Dreamweaver because of a conflict. There is no
uninstall (in control panel) for Dreamweaver CS3 and there are not
even any EXE files in it's folders (product of System Restore I am
guessing?)
How can I get this uninstalled so I can install the entire
package?
