The Times are reporting that BT has paid £1billion for EXCLUSIVE champions league rights from August 2015.

This is huge! Sky and ITV both blown out of the water.
I am really pleased and even if it means BT start charging, as some are suggesting, to be honest I will be happy to pay.
I wonder if BT will stream all games in HD on the app, rather than the SD red button sky currently have.

Yes, good if BT can gradually break a certain satellite company's stranglehold on sports that has lasted 20 years. However, I don't like the idea of the Champs League no longer being shown at all on free-to-air UK TV, though I guess that is largely up to UEFA?
Of course we also have no idea how much BT will be charging for the sport channels by the time of the 2015 season. Another £900+m is a lot to recoup. The Jan 2015 general BT price rises could be interesting!

Why do sky still advertise UEFA Champions League and NBA
I have just upgraded to the HD pack online along with having to upgrade to the family pack in order to do this. Any way I have noticed that under the 'What do I get with the HD Pack it states 'action from the NBA, UEFA Champions League'. This is incorrect as sky no longer have rights to the champions league and haven't shown NBA since 2013 I believe. This is false advertising and I along with others are paying for a service that we are not getting as described by themselves and as usual the live chat has been busy all morning. News from Telstra regarding ANNA
Dear Mr XXXXX
Thank you for your enquiry about the Nokia N8 ‘Anna’ software release. Unfortunately, we were not able to release any N8 updates due to an issue discovered with the first update (PR1.1) by Telstra. This update was found to introduce a serious issue where the N8 freezes/crashes after making an emergency call to “000”. Nokia acknowledged this as a fault/bug on the device on the 20th May 2011. Since then we have been in weekly discussions around resolving this issue. The issue was finally slated for resolution in PR 2.1 (also known as “Anna”) and Nokia delivered this to Telstra for testing on 24 October.
Testing has now been completed and the update is expected to receive Telstra endorsement/approval in the next week. We expect Nokia to have the update available for customers within 7 days of Telstra issuing the approval.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused but expect to be able to approve the final software in the coming days.
So there we have it ppl if you go to the top you get the answers you want.. lets hope they now follow through..Top news Andrew... Lets work on this promise

Typical Telstra, testing is completed but it takes a "in the next week" for the pigeon to deliver the news to nokia.

I keep getting an Error Message when Previewing a page that has the Feature News Composition Widget. The Message says that the locations are too large to Rasterize and I need to make it smaller in size. I tried all of this burt nothing worked.

Many thanks for your 'correct' and prompt answer. I tried to make it CORRECT on the Forum, but after clicking the link, did not know where to go since this is my first time using this forum.
As it turned out, I was indeed using the font (Georgia) but did not realize that this particular font can also be used as a System font as well. So I chose the wrong Georgia font which was the System font. I corrected this issue throughout and made doubly sure that I used the Web Font Georgia.

It wasn't worth the wait. Yes, I know its beta and I know its free, but its a singularly unimpressive piece of software. It sends messages based on your Apple ID, not your phone number. As a consequence, your contacts wont know where to message you and you'll miss messgaes on the phone that go to the computer, and vice versa. You also cant clear the chat transcripts without major surgery (burrowing into the folders in the library).
I hope it gets better, because right now its not much to look at. -
New user question regarding cfforms

This is simple for most I'm sure but it's got me hung up.
Perhaps someone can help.
I'm building a very simple cf form that allows the user to
select one option from each of two select lists, and then
dynamically generates a tech solution based on the users input. I'm
using a CFFORM as opposed to a standard html form to take advantage
of the ease in populating the selection lists from the database.
I've defined my form and select lists as follows:
<cfform action="#CGI.SCRIPT_NAME#" name="formName"
method="post">
select list one:
<cfselect name="OS" query="os" display="os"
value="os_id"/>
</cfform>
My query's at the top of my page are working, but when using
both the post and get methods, any time I try to evaluate the value
selected by the user in the form select box by using either
"#Form.OS#" for post or "#URL.OS#" for get, Coldfusion returns an
error saying that the element OS is undefined in FORM or undefined
in OS.
When I use the get method, I can see in the URL query string
that the form name is showing up correctly and passing the correct
data from the database, but as soon as I try to evaluate the data,
I get this error.
I'm so frustrated. Can someone help illuminate what it is I'm
missing here?
Thanks.It's usually safer to precede your name with identifiers
instead of using the same name for each.
ex. query="q_os" name="sel_os" display="disp_os"
You could access the wrong variable unintentionally.
The problem may be that 'OS' is a reserved word in CF. Try
using a different name and see if that works.

How do I remove "Champions League" from Yahoo toolbar far right?
I think this "add-on" was attached to the latest JAVA update. I cannot find it in "search" but it is there on the toolbar line on the far right next to the "Toolbar Settings icon. I can do a systems restore and probably get rid of it but that would remove the latest version of JAVA and a few other things I've added since the update yesterday. any suggestions?
Well, they out waited me so I hung up. I read enough comments on other posts to realize they could care less how we consumers/users feel about their web design. I have better things to do today. I give up!

Full true Administrator Privileges and rights for New User?
I am wondering how to grant full administrator privileges to a newly created user?
Here is the environment:
Windows 2012 Server 64bit
Not part of a domain <WORKGROUP>
Here is the problem:
I created a new user we will call them "SecondaryAdmin", and made them part of "Administrators" group as well as the "Remote Desktop Users" group.
I login through an RDP session as "SecondaryAdmin", I go to a command prompt, and I run IISRESET and it tells me:
"Access denied, you must be an administrator of the remote computer to use this command. Either have your account added to the administrator local group of the remote computer or to the domain administrator global group."
Additionally, I have IE Enhanced Security turned off, but if I open Internet Explorer while logged in as "SecondaryAdmin" it still displays the IE Enhanced Security warnings.
Also, if I try to copy a file to the root "C:\", it gives me "Access denied error" forcing me to continue with elevated administrator privileges.
If I run the command prompt as "administrator" I can do an IISRESET without error.
If I run Internet Explorer as "administrator" I do not get the warnings.
If I run windows explorer as "administrator" I do not get the access denied.
However, I WOULD NOT trust this "SecondaryAdmin" account to install ANYTHING. Even if you ran the install executable as "admin", often times these install files will fire off secondary scripts that wont be fired off as "admin",
which may lead to incomplete or corrupt installs.
This changed from Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2012.... If I do the same exact thing in Windows 2008, I am able to do all the above things without prompt or error.
So how can I give a new user true, full, elevated, admin privileges without having to run everything as administrator? Some obscure setting in GPO? Some registry setting (already tried LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy)?
What I have tried:
UAC is OFF
Firewall is OFF
IE Enhanced Security is OFF
Remote Management/Desktop Enabled
User part of Administrators Group and Remote Desktop Group
Used "netplwiz" to verify user is Administrator

I want the "SecondaryAdmin" user, who is part of the Local Admininstrator group, to have full Admin access.
I DO NOT want them to have to do anything special, or have any user intervention.
NO yes/no dialog boxes
NO clicking "Run As Admininstrator"
NO changing shortcuts or executable file properties to always "Run as Admin"
I simply want the "SecondaryAdmin" account, which is part of the "Administrators" group, to have the same access and run the same seamless way it did in 2008 R2, with no user intervention required.
This is what I am looking for.

No Champions or Europa League No Price Drop
I've been on and off with Sky for 20 plus years this being my longest stint 8 years, have always been pretty happy with Sky & customer services always willing to help and knock a couple of quid off to help out. My Problem now is Sky have lost the Chapions league & Europa which means sky have saved 100's of millions of pounds, so how comes this has not been past back onto the customers paying out for Sky Sports? Then to make matters worse I'm now getting shafted by BT so I can have Champions League even worse only on one telly when I have 3 Sky Boxes, so I feel like I'm getting ripped off by Sky & BT Sport. Will Sky knock off some money now? I'm seriously thinking about leaving as my Sky bill is £115 a month standard.

I'm sure the Premier League rights have taken a lump out of any UEFA saving

EJB Spec Question regarding classloading

There I can read something which confused me:
"Contrary to common belief, most of the Java Reflection API can be used from EJB components. For example, loadClass() and invoke() can both be used by enterprise beans. Only certain reflection methods are forbidden."
Is the writer of this article wrong? Or is true? But then why does the spec make this general restriction?
I hope someone can shed some light on this. I'd really like to have an answer to that.

OliverI am guessing it would throw an exception as it would not be able to map to fields it was not aware of. Maybe that is why...?How should it not be able, since I am telling it explicitly which fields to map to with @FieldResult ?
And moreover.. what harm can it be there if I map the fields as I want ?
I'm not trying just to justify the correctness of the spec, which I can hardly assume.. I need a strong argument.

Standard New button for creation of bp is not appeared in ic agent bp role's main page.
I have checked in.htm page of ICCMP_BP_MUL_S/BuPaSearchB2B which is getting called in web.
in line no. 45 of .htm page there is condition to check whether new button should be displayed or not, when this condition is true no_bp_create is initial then only new button appears in ic agent.
I have debugged so many times but unable to find out from where no_bp_create flag is populated and in conclusion new button is not appeared .
I think there is some authorization which should be assigned to user for creation of bp so that above said flag (no_bp_create) is not getting populated.

The parameter no_bp_create is being set in the do_init_context method of the view controller class of same view but the value is being fetched using a badi.
The authorization to create BP can be enabled by implementing the BADI BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_AUTHORITY (or enhancement spot CRM_UIU_BP_ENHANCEMENT).
Users can be authorized to create/edit data for different UI components using this badi.
In this badi put the condition for the application name may be as (based on your scenario or explore more) cl_crm_ic_bp_constants=>gc_bp_create OR OR cl_crm_ic_bp_constants=>gc_bp_edit and set the value of parameter cv_not_allowed = abap_false. Then you should be able to see the New button.
