Human Workflow is not sending Email notifications to AD users

Hi,
I'm trying to send email notification to the assigness from workflow. If I use the weblogic users with email attributes, Its sending mails. But once I switch to AD and use the AD users it's not. I have made the AD provider to be the first in the list and also able to login to the worklist app using the same user. Problem is that it's not sending mails.
Can anyone please help soon.

Can you explain what are AD users and how they are created(APIs)?
Please check that the user exists in wf_local_roles table.
select name,notification_preference, email_address from wf_local_roles where name = <AD Username>
In order to send email notification, the user/role should have the proper email addresses and notification preference set to MAIL* i.e MAILHTMl, MAILHTM2, MAILATTH, MAILTEXT..etc

    Hi Satya,
    To send an email to the person who initiated the work item instance in the process when the instance reaches a human task:
    1. Ensure that the id of person who initiated the instance is stored in the process predefined variable called "creator".
    2. In the Interactive activity's input data mapping, map this "creator" process predefined variable to the corresponding "creator" attribute in the human task's execData.
    3. Open the human task -> click the "Notification" tab -> click the "+" icon in the upper right -> on the new row added to the bottom of the list, leave the task status dropdown set to "Assign" and change the recipent (the middle column) to "Initiator".

  • Sharepoint Server 2013 not sending Email notification

    I have a Sharepoint 2013 farm that is not sending any kind of email notifications. I also have a Sharepoint 2010 farm whit the same Outgoing Email settings and it is sending emails notifications normaly.
    The SMTP service (the role) is in the same member servers of the 2013 farm, so it is reachable. The timer service is running well in both member servers of the 2013 farm. We don't have an On-premise Exchange enviroment because we use Office 365 (I cannot
    set the sharepoint servers as allowed to relay in Exchange). The 2010 farm and the 2013 farm have the same Outgoing Email settings, I don´t know why the 2013 does not send emails. It is driving me crazy!.
    How can I solve this?

    I think this is the correct configuration because it sends emails normaly with SharePoint 2010.
    If I configure my own email account in Outbound Security, Sharepoint 2013 sends emails but just when I login to Sharepoint, if other users login it doesn't send emails.

  • BPM Alerts not sending email notifications

    Hello Experts,
    I've successfully configured BPM within SolMan and alerts are being generated but I'm not receiving any email notifications. In the setup of Business Process Monitoring, "Contacts" have been maintained within the Solution Directory as well as the notifications section of the monitoring type with a sender and a valid recipient address . Both yellow and red alerts are being generated but no email notifications are being sent. Thresholds have also been maintained.
    Researching other threads regarding this same issue points to tcode RZ20->SAP CCMS Technical Expert Monitors ->All Monitoring Contexts->BPM->Activate Maintanance Function-> and assiging Central auto reaction methods to MTE Class BPMRoot Context and the other BPM_APPMON_* MTE classes. Is there something that I am missing in order to have these alerts send email notifications when the alert threshold is reached?
    I also defined the new Central Auto Reaction method and maintained the parameters properly which calls FM DSWP_BPM_SEND_ALERT. Please assist as I have exhausted all options. Please provide a step by step guide to setup alert notifications if possible.

  • ICal "add invitees" not sending email notifications

    What is supposed to be the behaviour of iCal event invites?  I've never used it because it didn't seem to send email notifications and I never recieved any email notifications from people inviting me.  I would just see a grey dotted event in my iCal and I'd have to open it to see who invited me.  Also, when inviting people is there a way to use a default email that you are inviting from?  I have 4 email addresses and I can't seem to find any way to tell it to email from one specific email.

    I sent several iTunes and App Store gifts from my Apple ID... I set the date to be sent of Dec 25. The gift recipients have not received email notifications about their gifts. I went into my iTunes account and resent the gift, but the people I sent gifts to are still not getting emails from iTunes. However I got the iTunes email informing me my credit card had been charged.

    I'm having this issue as well. I was really hoping to surprise people on Christmas Day, really disappointed right now., doesn't look like anyone has got an email about the apps I gifted them.

In the Notification Tab are able to send a email notification to a Assign User, Requester User, User or User Manager. But i need to send a email notification a other user different to them, for example: juan.perez, this user is in OIM.

    You can use OIM email API to send an email from the java code. You can attach code on post creation user using entity adapter. Every time a user is created the email is triggered.
    Here is the sample:

  • Auto provisioning users and send email notification to the users

    I currently have CUCM 10.5 setup to auto register phones and I use Cisco prime provisioning 10.5 to auto provision the users.
    Self provisioning is setup and users can call the IVR number enter the self service ID, which is their DN.
    what I would like to do is send an email notifying  the end user of their setup and how to use their telephony device Example (Self-service ID: 8888, auth code: 3333) is this possible from Prime Provisioning or CUCM.

    Wishful thinking I guess. It would have been seamless if they added that form of email notification to end users when auto provisioning. Anyways to get around that I used MS word mail merge and used the same spread sheet I used to batch provision the users to send the Self-service ID to the email contacts.

  • Workflow is not sending emails

    Hello  everyone!
    I've created a workflow that sends emails on status change of a sales order. Everything works fine in development system, but emails is not sent in QAS system. Workflow is not returning any errors and works as expected but in SOST transaction there is no email processing. What I am missing here? Maybe some configuration?
    Configuration of the workflow is the same as in development.
    System is SAP CRM 7.0

    Hi,
    First check if it is even possible to send emails.
    from anywhere in SAP just go to system-->short message
    Then send it as a mail (I'm not sure if you should use remote, or internet address I'm guessing internet)
    Then check if a mail was created at all.

    Hello All,
    I have setup all the parameters required for email notifications in My OEM Database Control..
    I have even tested my by pressing test mail while configuring outgoing SMTP server..
    Even marked to send an email in all the rules i needed..
    So everything seems like i have setup all the parameters and even when i click on one alert and its details it shows *"The following notifications will be sent: 1 e-mail messages, 0 SNMP traps, 0 PL/SQL procedures, and 0 OS Commands."*
    And as i expect it should show one more entry the email has been send to [email protected] but even after waiting for long time OEM is no sending the email specified in notication schedule..
    What might be the reason for the same.. Any help would be great..

    It might be one of the fllowing reasons
    1.SYSMAN jobs are broken, re-enalbe the same.
    2.Check Preferences--> Notification Rules--> And make sure all Rules are checked for Send Email.
    3.Check dbms jobs are running under sysman schema on the repository.

    I have a requirement where I need to send an email notification from the BPEL process. The Email notification has to be sent to a used who invoked the process the userName is provided in the initiation parameters. But I need to fetch the email id for the give userName from the OID which is integrated with the BPEL Process Manager.
    Is there any way I can fetch the email addresses from the OID in BPEL ?

    Hi Folks, Finally I found the answer... If the APP server is integrated with the OID(Identity Management is set to Oracle Internet Directory and configured properly) the function ora:getUserProperty(bpws:getVariableData('myUser'),'mail') should return the mail property of the user object in OID.
    If your Identity Management is set to the File-Based system then it will get the user properties from the $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/services/config/user_properties.xml.

  • Oracle Periodic Alert -Not sending Email Notifications

    I configured a periodic alert in my test and development instances. I had a SQL Query in Select Statement. When I verified the SQL Statement Oracle Alert successfully parses the SQL Statement . When I run it rows are getting selected. I defned Actions, Action Set, Action Set Details, Action Details. In the Actions Tab---> Action Details I listed out the persons to whom Mail needs to be send.
    I checked the below ones...
    Notification Mailer is Up
    Periodic Alert Scheduler is Activated
    But the notified persons are not recieving mails.
    I has one more question
    Is that if the Select Statement after parsing doesnt return any rows... Alert will not be triggered. if it returns 0 rows.
    What else needs to be checked.. Let me know if you can sort it out...

    Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.
    What is your ATG patchset level? If you are on ATG RUP4 or above, then please confirm that Oracle Workflow is configured and working properly with no issues -- Check the Workflow log file for any errors.
    Is the issue with all alerts or specific ones only? Can you reproduce the issue with all end-users for the same alert or with specific users only?

    I created a workflow for a Lead record that runs when the modified record is saved.
    The Workflow Rule Condition is this, PRE('<Owner>') <> [<Owner>]
    When the Owner Name is changed, I would like it to send an email the new owner.
    It does not do that. I removed the Workflow Rule condition and the email is sent.
    Did I do something wrong with the Workflow Rule condition?

    I am not sure. But I would assume that Owner field is a joined field coming from User object. On the other hand, Owner Id is stored in your current object.
