Hwo to find string in miltiple forms

hi,
A string in written in a form but i am unable to search that form . is there any utility in oracle forms where i can search that string in multiple forms same time, like windows.

You can convert the forms to *.fmt* format and than by opening in wordpad you can search your desired text.

I guess you wrongly closed the thread without any answer.
utilities --> version, it will give all the list of languages of SAPScript.
Or goto SE71,
Press F4, in place of form name and goto unclassified forms, you will see all form names with available languages.

My question is how can i set the connection string to a different server and database. doing so after the creation wizard has finished?

Why do you need to change the connection string? What are you calling "connection string for a form"???
The only connection string I now about is the one used to connect to the UI API... and this one is fixed for all apps in debug mode and given as parameter when your addon is registered in B1.
The connection string is filled in the code of your generated addon.
Please go to the main class of your addon, in the main method you have the following code where the connection string is filled either with the command line parameters (release mode) or with the fixed value given by SAP. This code doesn't need to be changed...

Is there an easy way to find out where my forms are stored?

What is it you would like to do? I am guessing you are referring to forms in the FormsCentral desktop application and not the web site. The forms in the Desktop application are not stored in a way you can access or use them other than through the application. You can export and save locally any form as a "FormsCentral Design Template" which can be shared with anyone and re-imported into FormsCentral.
If you can give me more details about what you would like to do I can help further.

 Go through the following steps.
 1 . Go to the transaction NACE.
 2. You will be able to see the Application and description tab over
 there. Select the Application for which you need the output type.
 3. After selecting the Application..on the top you can see the tab--
 output types...click in that..here you will be able to see all the output
 types for that application.
 4. Now select a output type ..and on the left side u will be able to see
 the tab for processing routines...double click on it...
 5. Here you will be able to see the standard SAP program...the form
 routine...the form..attached to it..

It has been fixed but the new problem is: After signout, if I move back to previous page and click some link using <- sign then I suppose to get the login page, but i am getting
ORA-44004: invalid qualified SQL name error message.
The source for my login page is

Displaying a string in STARs form in JOptionPane!!!

Okay, it's been a while since I've done this sort of thing, but I recall that there is at least one component in SWING that does this for you (JPasswordField). If you can't use it directly, take a look at the source code, and you may be able to figure out how to do it yourself.

Goto Se710> Do F4 in form. In next screen goto Find->Technical Search function and execute it. It will show no. of forms in the status bar at the bottom.

Unable to find the default new form for list mylist1 - deploying the list instance via module feature

hi,
am facing a problem deploying a list instance via a feature,
I created the list in the UI with content and views.
Exported the site template as WSP.
Imported into Visual Studio the list instance, pages module and property bags.
Copied into my new solution.
Deploy list instance as a site-collection level scoped feature.
activated the below features :
mylist_ModulesFeature
mylist_ListInstancesFeature
mylist_PropertyBagFeature
List deploys fine with content and views. However, I receive the following error when trying to add a new item: “Unable to find the default new form for list”. The same applies for editing items.
can anyone pls help why i am getting this error ?

How to find List of Z forms in sap script?

Hi Could any one help me to trace out how could we find the List of z FORMS(sap script forms) in sap system..
For instance if i put z* in smartforms and press f4 i will find list of customized forms where as
when i did the same thing in sapscripts (se71) it will display a tree structure ...where its hard to trace out...waiting for your inputs!!

Hi Viswa when i gone through above format i can see 6 output forms
but when i see the same in TADIR with object name as FORM i can see 10 forms
which 4 are extra but unable to get them in the sap script . when i am entering the names in form and using diaply button system is prompting as the form(those 4 FORMS ) are not existing?
WHY SO any idea...im table even i didnt find any difference as such

Find(String pkey) method returns multiple object of the same row

I'm not quite sure what i've done or havent done, but I've implemented updating a row using the em.persist(Object) method.....works great, but after i did that a few times the find(String pkey) method returns multiple copies of 1 row in the db
here are two rows in the db
personid(PK) firstName lastName
1234 joe jones
2345 rachel jones
when i execute any query looking for people with the last name jones, ie
select object(p) from Person p where p.lastName='jones'
it returns multiple objects of each row ie
1234 joe jones
1234 joe jones
1234 joe jones
1234 joe jones
2345 rachel jones
2345 rachel jones
2345 rachel jones
2345 rachel jones
There is only one row for both rachel and joe in the db, but why is the entity manager returning multiple objects of each, and how do i prevent that without using DISTINCT?

1) Execute SAP report RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN in SE38.
2) Give Z*. in program name.
3) Give tables in Find string Options.
4) Execute it.
You will see all ztables whereever this tables string exist.

Print string in Smart Form

hi, i have a problem while print long string in smart form.
If the string is too long to display in one line,
it is split into another line.
However, the words are also split into two lines.
For example,
my string is "this is a long string",
when it is printed , it become
"this is a lo
ng string"
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
