Hyper-v manager ver 6.1 not allowing to add VM's on 2012R2

Hi
I am using Hyper-V manager ver 6.1 to manage all VM's on 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 but i cannot manage VM's on 2012 R2, is there something i can do about.

The version of Hyper-V Manager RSAT tool must match the version of the Server being managed in order to support all features that the Hyper-V Server offers.
This dictates an OS version match.
Client 8.1 manages Server 2012 R2
The v1 virtualization namespace was removed with the 2012 R2 release (as in gone) and versions of the Hyper-V Manager prior to the 2012 release only knew about the v1 virtualization namespace.
2012 was the only release that knew of both the v1 and v2 namespaces.
But the other statement still stands. If the version of the Hyper-V Manager is older than the version of Hyper-V being managed, not all features will be available.

System should not allow to add line items in delivery

Hi,
1) system should not allow to add line items in delivery( in reference to sales order or STO)
2) sales order/STO should not be changed if delivery exists

FTP Connection Manager - The password was not allowed

Hi. I have created ssis package that sends a file via FTP. This works fine when testing on my local machine. When I import the package into Integration Services on the SQL Server then run as a job the file for output is created but FTP fails with error

HT204410 Photos not allowing to add or edit location data

The new Photos app does not allow location data to be edited or added.
For those users who own a camera without a GPS, there is no way to add the location data to the photos which defeats the purpose of having the map function if some/most/all of your photos can't be included.
I spent a great deal of time updating my locations, using the Location Manager, in iPhoto only to find that they have been replaced with simplified locations. For example, Waterworld has been replaced with a Suburb/State location.
The new app has severe limitations compared to iPhoto. As bad as iPhoto was, these limitations make it extremely hard to work with.
Apart from the location issue above, photos can only be sorted by name. In Event view, any new events are added to the bottom of the list. Faces are ordered by, what appears to be, the number of photos associated with the face. So when your adding faces from the suggested faces, one has to look closely at the faces to find the face to associate the photo with. If the library contains a lot of Faces, then this can be a difficult task. Also, when selecting faces from the Suggested Faces list, multiple faces cannot be selected and each photo has to be moved, or ignored, individually.
I had a smart list which showed all of the un-named faces but that has gone and there doesn't seem to be a way to show all of the photos with named faces other than to go through each photo individually.

If I have to use iPhoto, then that begs the question: Why would I want to upgrade to the new app?
It's not a good situation to have to use the old app (iPhoto) just to geotag my photos.
When I refer to the sorting issue, I had the sidebar visible. When not using the sidebar, the organisation is still not very good. For instance, to find my wedding photos, I must locate the event by drilling down through the years, collections etc. Or to view ALL of the photos taken at my house is now impossible as the location is now the same as my child's school!
As for the date sorting, I can't change it so that the most recent appear at the top. I must scroll down.
It's a terrible app given what iPhoto used to provide. I'm using it on my desktop, not a mobile phone. What applies to memorial doesn't, nor should, be applied to my desktop as there are quite different constraints.
By all means, have continuity (or whatever they call it), but don't constrain the desktop app to the capabilities of a mobile. It's just plain silly!

A friend of mine gave me a flashdrive with some music he wanted me to have but when I put them in my library it says they cant be played or used because the "original could not be found"

You are not allowed to give music away unless you are the copyright holder. Assuming the friend had the right to give you the media what has probably happended is that you have imported links to the media on the flashdrive to your library, rather than making local copies of the files on your computer's drive. Disconnect the drive and those links become invalid. Check your preferences for "Keep" and "Copy" under Edit > Preferences > Advanced.

Remote management under Sharing will not allow me to add admin user

I have just imaged my iMac lab to Lion. I am using Apple Remote Desktop 3.5. (I have used it for several years and know how to set it up and use it.) The problem I am having is adding my admin account to the list of users that are allowed remote management through sharing in system preferences.
The user list shows every other account, but will not show my admin account. I have imaged labs each year and have never experienced this issue. Not sure where to go from here. I am able to log in to each of the systems using the missing admin account but can't add that user to authorize remote management as it isn't listed. The sytems have recently been updated to 10.7.4.
For example, I have these accounts:
Me (admin)
User 1
User 2
User 3
User 4
When I go to system prefs>sharing>remote manage and click the Add to authorize only certain users, I only see User's 1-4. The admin account isn't listed...even if I am not currently logged into that account.
*I have just updated to ARD 3.6.

I can add "Administrators" under Remote Login just not Remote Management.

Profile Manager (10.10.2) not allowing custom applications to run

Hi everyone,
Hopefully someone can point my in the right direction for this one!
Applications users can launch are restricted in Profile Manager and works fine except for those that we have written in Script Editor (exported as apps/run only).
No matter what we try PM blocks these applications, removing app restrictions stops the problem but that's not a solution.
Has anyone had any experience of this?

It turns out that there's something wrong about permissions.
Here's the fix:
(1) log in as the +root user+
(2) type +chown -R Michael:staff ~Michael+
(3) log out the +root user+
(4) log in your account
(5) done!

Administrator not allowed to add programs to the programs file in English. How do I correct this?

I am listed as the administrator of this computer. When I attempt to download a program, I get the following message:
You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission.

I think you mean that photos are playing in the slideshow when you tap the Flower Icon on the lock screen. The photos have to be in the photos app or they would not be playing in the slideshow.
Tap on the Photos Icon in the dock and look in Albums, or Events in there and see if you can find the photos. If they do not appear in there - quit the photos app and reboot.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

SAP MDM Console not allowing to add new fields or load repository

We are in SAP MDM 7.1 SP06. I do have access to create table, fields, ports etc., And I also have access to load and unload repository.
But when I login to SAP MDM Console and repository, options to load repository --> immediate and update indices are disabled. This is happening for Add/ Delete Table/Fields/Port etc.,
However, if I login to repository using MDM console in another laptop or system using the same userid, I am able to perform all the operations mentioned above.
Can you please help me with any suggestions to fix this. I do not want to reimage my laptop now inorder to fix this.
I tried to uninstall and install mdm console again but in vain.

In the Main Menu you have a lock sign,click on that and unlock the view.

Ios Office mobile does not allow SharePoint "Add a Place"

I don't have an Office365 account/subscription. Using my Microsoft account...
On Android I can go to "Add a Place" and reference our on-premise SharePoint service - works great.
On iOS when I try to do the same thing it tells me this account can't be used and to use an "Organization Account".
Any ideas?

For a summary, I find that there are some difference between Office Mobile for iPhone and Android.
Microsoft Office Mobile for Android:Use a Microsoft account,some features of Office Mobile ,such as enable the Office Roaming Service, sharepoint,and so on.
Office Mobile for iPhone:you can use either a Microsoft Account associated with your Office 365 subscription or your Organization Account if you are using Office 365 at work.So I think this the reason why ios tell you to use an "Organization Account".

Fingerprint would not allow to add my print

My fingerprint stopped to work all of sudden? Tried to scan new one but it's not working. Does any one have similar problem? How can I resolve it?

Have you tried restarting the device? And make sure the fingerprint sensor is clean and your hands are clean and dry. If this doesn't work I would try doing a hard reset (hold home and power buttons simontainiously Untill the apple appears) if that doesn't work. Delete all fingerprints and back up your device. Do a full restore, do not restore from backup. If the problem persists after restoring device as new, contact apple for hardware issues.

Connect is not working on Hyper-V Manager on Windows 8.1 ( vmconnect does not work )

I dont know what is going on... When i open Hyper-V Manager i can start/stop VMs and i can see from preview that they are running.

After few months, problem occurred again and i could not install the windows from the scratch over and over again.
I started searching problem online and eventually i found the FIX.
Looks like Registry Entries are getting screwed up somehow.
My "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProvider" was looking exactly as below:
", schannel.dll"
And i made it as below:
"msapsspc.dll,
schannel.dll, digest.dll, msnsspc.dll, credssp.dll"
The solution for the other person in the link ( cannot share link since site does not allow me to ) as a source was only missing "credssp.dll" whereas i was missing everything except "schannel.dll". Strange...

Adding credssp.dll to the list of SecurityProviders in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders
fixed it for me.
My full registry entry now reads "msapsspc.dll,

Default credentials not being saved in Hyper-V Manager for a single VM

Greetings,
I have a Server 2008 R2 SP1 Standard Hyper-V box running about 8 virtual machines on it. The machine is joined to a 2008 domain.
Recently, I moved the .VHD file for a single machine from one folder to another folder. After doing so, when I connect to ONLY that specific machine via Hyper-V manager, I receive the error: "Your credentials did not work. Your system administrator
does not allow the use of default credentials to log on to the remote computer XXXXXX because its identity is not fully verified. Please enter new credentials."
I have the "Use default credentials automatically (no prompt)" option checked in the Hyper-V settings, and I have tried checking and unchecking this box and saving multiple times. I have also deleted the saved credentials and the system reports no
saved credentials.
I have attempted to change settings in the group policy (gpedit.msc) regarding enabling the Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Credentials Delegation > Allow Delegating Saved Credentials with
NTLM-only Server Authenticaton setting, something I found in older blog posts here in the Hyper-V forum and on other websites, and it has not made any difference.
At this point, I can only assume this must be some sort of bug because I cannot identify any other possible solution for getting rid of this annoying Windows Security pop-up box. There are no entries in the Windows event log that indicate anything
odd. When I enter the correct username/password, I can still access the VM, but the credentials are never remembered, and ONLY for this single VM.
Does anybody have any knowledge of how to fix this issue? I can't believe that just moving a VHD caused all these problems.

Ah, finally found a solution! I cannot explain why this suddenly got changed other than to assume it must have had something to do with a recent Windows Update or me trying to install Remote Desktop Services and Network Policy and Access Services.
I roughly followed the directions from
KB954357 or this
older post on the Hyper-V forum.
FIX:
1) Run gpedit.msc on the Hyper-V host that exhibits the problem.
2) Enable the policy setting Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Credentials Delegation > Allow Delegating Default Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication. Click the Show... button
next to "Add Servers to the list", and add the value "Microsoft Virtual Console Service/*" without the double quotes. Click OK. Click OK again to exit the dialog box.
3) Run a command prompt and execute gpupdate /force to refresh the group policy.
4) Now try to log into a machine in Hyper-V manager with default credentials enabled, and note that you are not prompted.
Again, I don't know why I had to do this, but it's working fine now.

Hyper-V internal (1 of 2, NOT Cluster) network unavailable in Failover Cluster Manager 2008R2

I had a very strange situation in my Hyper-V 2 nodes-cluster:
I have one networtk for HertBeat only (10.0.0.0/24) and second for HyperV internal networking for virtual machines (In properties marked "Do not allow clustern network communication")
Machines were working properly and any migration too.
One day, my secon done HyperV2 was marked red in Failover Cluster Manager mmc. I discovered that HyperV LAN is unavailable on this second node. BUT everything war working properly - HyperV2 node was on internet, communicated to AD domain, even culd run any
virtual machine...
Several times I checked the configuration, also check TMG configuratio, I was wondering if it can not be wrong settings on network access rule, I tried to restart this host - no result, ... network was still unavailable.
After about a hour I found the resolutuion:
On my second Hyper-V node Disable / Enable Local Area Connection network adapter, connected to Hyper-V LAN in Network Connections control panel!
