Hyperion MDM OS support memory limitation

Hi ,
I want to know that is Hyperion MDM is contrained by Operating System to support no more than 2 GB of memory?
Does it true for DRM 9.3.2 and Version 11 also?
If yes...Can it still support more than 80,000 member data into a single verion of DRM hierarchies?
Please help me to get answers of this problems.
Thanks

There is a new 64 bit version of DRM coming mid year that should do away with many of the memory issues. You should contact your ORACLE rep for a proper roadmap.
Can you elaborate a bit on what you will be doing that you anticipate that volume. I have been involved in many implementations and I know that right now there are at least 3 Oracle customers that have over 1M and are running DRM successfully.

I read on the Lenovo site :

Window Vista SP1 (32-bit) with the 4GB (even not supported) work stable ?
Because the prices of 1 GB and 2 GB won't change much nowadays.
I prefer to use 2x 2GB modules, but I like to know will it work (even with the memory limitation) stable on XP or on Vista
or it is better/safer to use 2x 1GB modules
Can anybody help/explain me or advice me ?

You're better off with 2x2GB, you may decide to run a 64-bit OS someday...and you will notice a difference between 2GB and 3GB when running a 32-bit OS.

  • Memory limitation to load a Jpeg

    Hi all,
I want to use the loader component to load an image within my
Flash lite movie, when I try to do it with a Jpeg (612pix X 792 pix
/ 96dpi X 96dpi), the device emulator says me in runtime:
Problem with content: 11 - Not enough memory available to
    decompress
    if I do the same with another Jpeg (533pix X 526 pix / 96dpi
X 96dpi) there is no problem.
My question is: what are the memory limitations to load and
to display an Image (Jpeg or bitmap)?

    Hi Thamis,
Take a look at the flash.net.FileReference class here:
    http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flex/2/langref/index.html
This is the built in Flash support for file upload. You'd
handle the upload with a servlet/jsp/etc. server-side component to
save it to disk or as binary data in a database.
    Best,
    Seth

  • Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory

Hi! I have a HP mini 210-1000 and it has a 1gb of RAM.
Ofcourse having this much limited of RAM you'll certainly lose your patience.
Thats why I wanted to upgrade it. According to some answers here that I can upgrade it till 2gb, then I've read about using this site -- www.crucial.com to know all the requirements of the memory to be installed, which I tried then and Im not sure what's the statement is talking about-- "Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory" does this means that I can't upgrade my RAM?
Your replies would be highly appreciated. thanks

    Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your model.
Memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1 on page 1.
    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01988326
You remove the 1 GB memory module and replace it with a 2 GB PC2-5300 memory module.

  • Does apple make an adapter to support memory stick

Does apple make an adapter that will support memory stick

The camera connection kit will allow you to plug in a memory stick, but you can't do anything with it. The only protocols the iPad supports is the reading of photos or videos off a card/memory stick (and I've literally had a 50/50 success rate getting memory sticks that work, most trigger the 'needs too much power' warning and won't function)
There are some gadgets like the iDrive or iFlash or Seagate's GoFlex, but they have limited function and expandability. Generally, the memory you have is the memory you have and it's not expandable.

i have a mac mini mid 2011, this device have; 2,3GHz and 2 Gb Memmory.I want to upgrade the memory and i need the list of supported memory modules. i am from turkey.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The Mid 2011 Mac mini supports 8 GB of memory officially, but you can install up to 16 GB of RAM, so you can use 2, 4 and 8 GB modules. You can buy more RAM from OWC or Crucial.
If you are looking for memory at a local shop, make sure you buy 1333 MHz DDR3 memory. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4432?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

  • Memory limitation for session object!

what is the memory limitation for using session objects?
    venu

as already mentioned there is no actual memory limitation within the specification, it only depends on the jvm's settings
how different app-server handle memory management of session objects is another part of the puzzle, but in general you should not have problems in writting any object to the session.
we had the requirement once to keep big objects in session, we decided to do a ResourceFactory that returns us the objects, and only store unique-Ids into the session.
We could lateron build on this and perform special serialization tasks of big objects in the distributed environment.

  • Standard Edition Memory Limitations

What is the upper memory limitation for the SGA size when using Standard Edition 9.x on Windows 2000?
    What about Enterprise?

According what I know the SGA in one OS is limited by the OS and the parameter SGA_MAX_SIZE. I have never heard that SGA has limitations related to the license.
    SGA_MAX_SIZE
    Parameter type
    Big integer
    Syntax
    SGA_MAX_SIZE = integer [K | M | G]
    Default value
Initial size of SGA at startup, dependent on the sizes of different pools in the SGA, such as buffer cache, shared pool, large pool, and so on.
    Parameter class
    Static
    Range of values
    0 to operating system-dependent
SGA_MAX_SIZE specifies the maximum size of SGA for the lifetime of the instance.

  • DV6500 Physical Memory Limitation to 3gb

    Hi All,
My DV6500 Entertainment PC came with Windows Vista 32-bit preinstalled which limited my usable memory from 4gb to 3gb. I recently upgraded to Windows Home Premium 32-bit which I believe has a physical memory limitation of 4gb (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa366778%28v=vs.85%29.aspx#physical_memory_l... but upon inspection my windows still shows 3gb usable memory. Is there something I need to tweek in windows or bios to fully use all 4gb as installed on my laptop? Thanks in advance.
    This question was solved.

    Hi:
That's what this forum is for...asking and answering questions.
So there is absolutely nothing for you to be sorry for.
Unfortunately, there is no way you can re-map or re-dedicate the memory configuration. It is what it is.
However, your PC's BIOS may have a setting to allow for more dedicated graphics memory to be used.
I was very surprised to see that in my dv6810us BIOS, there is a video memory setting. The default is 64 MB.  However, I could change the setting to 128 MB or 32 MB.
So, I changed it to 128 MB.

  • FPGA memory limitation

    Hi...
I have tried to use more than 2 MB memory (using memory blocks) on FPGA. During compilation Xilinx tool chain generated error "AR #21955"....which is explained as memory limitation (in xilinx website). Can't we create memory blocks of more than 2 MB?? (or) all memory blocks size in a vi should not cross 2 MB??. I need to create arbitrary wave forms of milli/micro second precision for some minutes......so i need many no. of points to get required waveform....Is there any way to achive it....when I transfered each point from a RT vi (not on FPGA) it takes more time (to transfer data from RT vi to FPGA vi for every iteration).
    Thank you,
    Cheers,
    Ravinder

The size of the memory blocks you can allocate in the project and use in your FPGA VI is limited by the size of the memory available on your FPGA device. This memory is in the range of 80-192 kB depending on which FPGA device you are using. Please check the data sheet or manual for your device for details.
    http://sine.ni.com/manuals/
So unfortunately you will not be able to store the complete waveform on the FPGA device.
Your best option is to stream the waveform from host memory to the FPGA device using DMA and generate the data from the DMA FIFO in the FPGA VI.

  • Physical Memory limitation

I have an HP dv6448se that originally came with Vista x86
I have recently upgraded the OS to Win7 x64
The listed memory limitation of the laptop is 2048 (2GB)
What is it that limits the ram to 2GB?  Is it a hardware thing, or was it an OS thing?  Would the new OS recognize two 2GB chips, or am I stuck with two 1GB chips?

  • Did MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) support memory: 8GB 1333MHz DDR3

    Did MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) support memory: 8GB 1333MHz DDR3??

The correct RAM specifications for your 2010 MBP are:  204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM.
What you quote may or may not work, and if it does seem to work, it may not work correctly.  For one to deviate from the correct specifications often leads to unnecessary complications.  One only has to explore many posts on this subject on this forum.
Best places to get RAM for your MBP are from OWC or Crucial.
Note, I have a 2010 MBP and I have made said upgrade.
    Ciao.
