I CREATED REPORT IN WEB ANALYSIS
MY USERS SEE THE REPORT BUT WHEN THEY OPEN THE REPORT IT SAY NO DATA AVAILABLE BUT WHEN I GIVE ONE OF THEM ADMIN PERMS ION ON THE APPLICATION HE CAN SEE THE DATA OTHER WISE WHEN I GIVE HIM ANY OTHER PERMS ION THAN ADMIN HE SEE NO DATA AVAILABLE

Dear,
the data will b not available till as u selected comination is not rite. Try to select that combination in which data is available.

Hyperion webAnalysis studio does not open login page. Can anyone suggest? Thanks in advance.

It looks like your connection settings in your browser or your Java VM are going through a proxy, which likely requires authorization - if this is an internal page can you try it without using the proxy info?

Hyperion - WebAnalysis Report in portal

I'm new to Hyperion but I'm working with our company portal and trying to intergrate Hyperion WebAnalysis reports. I can't use the applet cause of course we don't want to pop them into another window. I have found the URL httpserver:port/WebAnalysis/servlet/HTMLViewer?.... but the report fonts blowup huge and when trying to navigate to linked reports the browser hangs. Does anyone know of away to fix this via url commands or does anyone have a better way to intergrate we usually just use a url for example for OBIEE i have a url command that removes all the headers and only shows a dashboard. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Otto,
You can send print the report to the spool and then use RSTXPDFT4 program to convert this spool to PDF file. Alternatively, you can export the spool to spreadsheet or ASCII file via SP01 transaction.
Additinally, I'm not aware of unability to use Excel output with SAP GUI interface.

Hyperion Webanalysis Error

Hi,
When User opens web analysis Report in work space.The selection date is showing One date and from the filter its showing another date.For Example on the report if date is showing 2012-06-30 but the data reflecting on the report is 2012-05-31.When i saved the report then every thing work fines.Again for the next month the same problem we are getting.For the POV i selected "Bottom level of As of Date".Please Suggest.

Thanks alot ,but we dont have any file as oracle14.jar instead we have a file as ojdbc14.jar and we copied this file and pasted in the path given still we are facing the same issue.
Iam giving more details of our application and environment hopefully it will help you for further analysis.
We have two servers in which 1.Database server where we have installed the oracle server (Oracle 10G)
2.Application Server in which we have installed the Hyperion Products and the oracle client(Oracle 10G).
And we noticed the following files in the oracle directory in the Application server.
classes12.jar
classes12.zip
classes12dms.jar
nls_charset12.jar
ojdbc14.jar
ojdbc14_g.jar
ojdbc14dms.jar
ojdbc14dms_g.jar
In which some are in 12 and some are in 14 ,As we are using oracle 10g we feel like all the files should be in 14,
And we found classes14.jar file in database server where is oracle server is installed and the same file is missing in Application server where oracle client is installed.
Based on the above can you help us in solving the issue.

Could anybody please tell me the way of interacting with Hyperion Web Analysis through a script so that i could export the reports as *.apt files by runnig the script rather than doing it manually.

Order of starting services in Hyperion System 9 release 9.3.1

Hi,
How important is the order of starting services in 9.3.1. ?
I mean does this needs to be done manually every time or does Hyperion takes care of this automatically (including dependencies), if I set this to "automatic" in the services panel?
If not how to set up dependencies among services in the "services" panel of windows?
Or Is there any script provided for the sequential start of services?

Hi,
You can go any way either make all services startup type Automatic
or(manually) start it sequential or use script to start
but in production Environment I suggest you to make a script to startup and shutdown the hyperion services.

first thing HAL is 3rd part tool and u cant get in edeelivery
and web analysis is not seperate tool whn u install planning u get that
And Hyperion Planning Desktop its 4th version where destop was instrodused ......not in 9 i......t has be take out so
Remaining all u can see edelivery it self .....

Is there any document available which will give information regarding the sequence of services which we need to start for hyperion like Hyperion foundation open Ldap, then Hyperion foundation shared services etc. (in version 11.1.1.3). I am looking for this info for version 11.1.2 and 11.1.1.3.

Make sure that all the relevant services are off.

EPM Workspace Web server
Performance Management Architect Services

Hyperion WebAnalysis Application Server

Web Analysis Scroll Bar in HTML

While manually resizing my window (making it smaller) for a WA document (9.3.1)opened in HTML mode I can see that there are scroll bars present in the bottom and right hand side. But when I finish resizing, the scroll bars disappear! Is there a way to retain the scroll bars?

In WA reports, we have to put lot of graphics/tables in a single page.
As there is no scroll bar in WA pages in designer mode, It is creating the problem for us. We are able to use only the space that is visible(Computer screen) to us.
does anybody face this problem....
is it a bug in WA ?

Web Analysis - Scroll bar goes up by itself

Dear all,
We have some reports build on top of Hyperion Web Analysis.
The report has several graphics/tables and a scroll bar in the IE window is necessary to see all graphics/tables.
When we scroll down the bar and select (click) a graphic/table the scroll bar goes up (to the report home) by itself. That happens every time that we do the action described.
Does anybody have ever seen that?

Help is not working in Hyperion System 9 WebAnalysis

I am facing one issue while making reports using Web Analysis Studio.Whenever I am querying on RDBMS table through JDBC connection only 50000 rows are getting retrieved but this table has more than 1.5 lakhs of rows.
I have also tried after increasing the following paramters in user interface as well as in the Webanalysis.properties and ADM.properties
MaxDataCellLimit 999999
MaxJdbcCellCount 999999
FetchMemberSize 999999
and Max_Return_row=999999 in adm.properties
Could anyone please lok into the issue.

Hyperion Web Analysis Studio - Excel Export Data PATH TO EXCEL

I have a problem with Hyperion Web Analysis Studio by Export Data (Path to Excel) function on every client (windows Vista - IE 7 - Office 2007)
The problem is when I try to use the Export data to Excel, the Path to the excel program is missing and I have to go manually over the directory and choose the excel.exe to export the report, when I restart the IE I have to do it again...
Hyperion support suggested I try adding the Excel path to my webanalysis.properties file
So I now have:

Hello,
Even we have the same issue.And changed the path in webanalysis.properties file.And it worked in entire report but in drillthru reports, export to excel 2010 didn't work and prompting to select the path to excel.Does anyone has solution for this??
