Hyperlink/bookmarks pointing at the bottom of the page

We have a problem with the behaviour of hyperlinks and bookmarks pointing to external documents in Adobe 7.0 and 9.0. When we click on these bookmarks/hyperlinks, the target document opens at the bottom of the page. If the user's page setting is set to "continuous pages" it appears that these bookmarks/hyperlinks open to the next page but the adobe pagination at the bottom of the screen still shows the correct page. If the user's page setting is set to "single page" the bookmark/hyperlink opens the document to the correct page but at the bottom of the page (when the zoom is set to magnification 66% and above) . We are not sure why the document is opening at the bottom of the page. The document properties - initial view settings are for Page layout and Magnification: Default. Does anybody know why this is happening and how can it get resolved?

Did you install the PL/SQL Web Toolkit version that come with the APEX 3.x distribution file?

How do I get rid of "Open All In Tabs" from the Bookmarks dropdown menu? [STUPIDITY] Also, my bookmarks run off the bottom of the screen and I can't see them all.

The bottom of my bookmarks in one subcategory extends beyond the screen on my TV and I can't see them all. I can't see where any arrow to extend the bookmarks to the bottom of the list is so I've been clicking below the last visible bookmark in that list and I hit that STUPID "Open All In Tabs" crap (then everything locks up). WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD WANT TO OPEN ALL OF THEIR BOOKMARKS AT ONCE???? Seems really, really stupid to me. And why won't the bookmarks drop down list allow me to see all of the bookmarks I've saved on that topic? It does not automatically scroll down as large lists on other drop down menus routinely do.

I agree. It is a brainless moronic subcategory!!! I would love to get rid of it!

How can I move App Tabs to the bottom, where the other bookmark toolbars are? Or, how can I put my bookmark toolbars in two rows and forget the App Tabs?

I have several bookmarks on my toolbar, and my most often used ended up in a pull-down menu, which is annoying. I tried to click and drag them onto the menu bar, because there was room for more icons, but they won't budge. Nothing under "Toolbars" was helpful. Help would tell me to right click on my toolbar and then click on "Customize"...which didn't come up as an option. I would really like all my toolbar bookmarks (I only have about 10) to be visible on the actual toolbar, not hidden away in a small pulldown tab.
There is a plug-in that enables you to put bookmarks in two rows on your toolbars, but it is not compatible with my version of FF (7.0.1).
App Tabs are cute, but I don't like them on top where they take up room where I have the tabs for various websites open (I usually have several open at a time). App Tabs are fixed and don't scroll over like website tabs, which is extremely annoying, and hence why I 1)would like to move them to the bottom of the toolbar or 2)be able to display all my bookmarked toolbars --which is what I prefer.
BTW, I have Windows 7.

App tabs are special tabs and are always displayed at the left end of the tab bar.
You can place all bookmarks that you want to see on the Bookmarks Toolbar in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder. 
You can do that in the side bar or the Bookmarks manager if you can't do it on the Bookmarks Toolbar. 
Most Visited is a special (smart) folder that shows websites that you've visited and that aren't necessarily bookmarks, so you can't drag them on the bookmarks toolbar unless you first bookmark them. You can do that by opening them in a tab and clicking the star on the location bar twice and choose the Bookmarks Toolbar as the destination folder.

When I mouse over a hyperlink on a page in 4.0, I can no longer view the URL address in a narrow horizontal bar at the bottom of the page, nor view the "load progress" of the URL when I click on it ... which I could formerly see in the same narrow bar.

In Firefox 3.6 and previous, I could always view the URL of an embedded hyperlink by mousing over the link and checking a narrow horizontal field at the bottom of the web page. When clicked on, that hyperlink would begin loading the desired page, and I could watch as Firefox logged on to the remote server ... at least to the extent of knowing that the server had been contacted and that the page was loading. It's like "flying blind" now -- I can't view either of those things.

Firefox 4.0b7 eliminated the Status bar, it is replaced by the Add-on bar. When you mouse-over a hyperlink, the URL appears in the Location bar to the right of the current URL in slightly faint type. The page loading indicator is on the left side of the Tab, but it doesn't show the progress as before, only that the page is loading (or not).
You can restore the functions of the old Statusbar with the '''Status4Evar''' extension. The three Statusbar items are in the Customize Palette.

Do you mean that you have moved this folder to the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu list?
You can open the Bookmarks Manager (Library) and select the Bookmarks Menu folder in the left pane and drag or use Cut and Paste to move this folder to the top of the Bookmarks Menu folder or to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder if you want it to appear there.

I just upgraded to firefox aol version and lost my extra bookmarks that were on the bottom of the original bookmarks, so how do i get them back "

I recently updated to Firefox AOL version and i am very disappointed that I lost my bookmarks that are on the bottom of the original bookmarks. I had two lines of bookmarks and now I only have one. how can I get the other line of bookmarks back?

The bookmark box does not appear, bookmarks straight to the bottom of the list

When I use the Bookmarks menu at the top of the page, hit Bookmark this page, the little box that USED to popup to assign what catagory folder the bookmark is to go into, does not appear.
the page is bookmarked, but goes on the bottom of the list, instead of into a catagory folder.
Having MANY catagory folders, I am forced to scroll down several times to see the book mark!
JUST started doing this when Firefox updated to 3.6.
Any fixes for this?

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. My bookmarks run off the bottom of the page, and I cannot move them up

When I open my bookmark folder and try to open a subfolder near the bottom of the screen, the bookmarks in this subfolder run off the bottom of the screen, and I can find no way to move them into a visible area.

There is a little triangle arrowhead used to scroll the bookmarks.
There have been some changes in pre release versions of Firefox.
What menus and icons are you using ?
For instance are you using the new menu icon that is alongside the Bookmarks star in Firefox 29 and later ?
(Unlikely from the description) Or are you using a second click on the bookmarks star itself ?
That has a slider on the scrollbar and has a tree of folders that may be expanded.

Could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration? Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches with some graphic cards/drivers.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Suddenly, the seperators in my bookmark sidebar get removed to the bottom of the list whenver I open the browser, totally ruining my organizing. what can I do?

When I started firefox today, I noticed that in my sidebar the seperator lines I use for organizing my bookmarks and folders were gone, removed to the bottom of the list. Also, the bookmarks got rearranged. It was complete chaos.
I used the back-up function to get my initial order back, but whenever I close the browser and reopen it, I am having the same issue again. Instant bookmark chaos with every browser start.
What can I do to stop this? It's really a pain... Thank you so much for your help!

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

How to write a line at the bottom of the page

Hello all,
My smartform has header, body,footer.
I have placed everything in MAIN window as the details should come in all the pages.
Now my requirement is I have to print the page number at the bottom of the page.
I print multiple documents at a single shot (means multiple deliveries for example.)
The page number must be reset when I start printing another document (new delivery).
For this, as I can not use SFSY-PAGE,SFSY-FORMPAGES etc., I have used a variable and incremented it. It looks fine.
But my problem is I am not able to print the page number at the bottom of the page. It appears immediately when the header and body is finished.
Can you help suggesting some Idea so that Page number can be pushed to the bottom ?
