Hyperlink box is missing on navigation bar

Suddenly, a few days after upgrading to 2.0, the hyperlink box is missing. I can't change, add, or do anything with hyperlinks. This has shut down my ability to work on the site. Yes, I am highlighting text or images, and still, the hyperlink edit box is GONE. Please help!!!

This is another problem I am facing with MUSE - other problems are being addressed in other forums.

Missing navigation bar

My home page is msn.com, I select hotmail and a new window appears, however it is missing the navigation bar. I reset my toolbars, I entered safe mode and reset them, I disabled add-ons but nothing restores them. When I exit hotmail that window still does not have the navigation bar. I updated firefox and still nothing. I'm running 3.6.8. It seems to relate to the hotmail selection

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

No navigation bar or photos

Hi all,
I'm just publishing two new sites with iWeb '09 and they're both missing the navigation bars at the top, as well as the photos on the Photo page. The photos have uploaded but just aren't displaying. I've viewed them in both FF3.0.7 and Safari. They appear correctly in iWeb.
As a test, I created a new site, "andrewtest2", added two pages, the Welcome page and the Photos page, leaving them with all the default files that iWeb adds. That site is here:

I've recreated my iWeb preferences file, and rebooted.

I'm having the same exact problem. My site looks great on my local folder, but the second I view it in Safari below is what I see. Thankfully I didn't assume it would work (thanks mac) and created a test page. Has anyone figured out how to FIX this problem. You'll also see formatting issues, which I NEVER had with iWeb06. What I saw locally, was what I saw live. I have not rearranged folders. Do I need to upload the entire site? Is the nav menu hidden somewhere in the files? I really don't want to go that route and have my entire site be useless. Any help would be appreciated!

Windows Explorer Navigation Bar goes missing

I am suddenly experiencing the navigation bar (is it called the navigation bar?) in Windows Explorer going missing as shown below for two different instances of Windows Explorer in the same session:
It seems in one instance that bar has shrunk to just a thin box.
I tried and tried but couldn't find any option to turn it back on. Any tips?

Where did the "Stop" button go on the Navigation Bar in ff4? It isn't included in the Customize box. Is there anyway to install the "Stop" button for loading web pages or is this option compeletly gone from Firefox now?

Just installed upgrade to Firefox 4.0. Where did the "Stop" button go on the Navigation Bar. I checked the Customize dialogue box and it isn't included. Is anyone else missing it? Is there anyway to install the "Stop" button for loading web pages or is this option completely gone from Firefox now? It was a very helpful button and allowed us users to stop a web page and move on if it wasn't what we needed.

In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. Text missing from the navigation bar

hi, i'm really hoping someone can help, as apple tech, say they don't support iweb. i have just started using iweb 09, so i have created a new site and chosen a template, but i have not text displaying in the navigation bar, i can turn it off and on, but not text, if i publish this page to a folder and view it with safari i can see the work welcome in the navigation bar, also in i place a google map wigdit, i can resize it, move, but cant edit, in respect of i have no box to input a post code or address... i have just tried this on my other mac a imac, but brought at xmas and both updated to lasted version of software, and i get the same results...
can anyone advise me...

When I select Toolbar-Customize and the options box opens, the Navigation Bar icons disappear.

Two questions: 1) When I select Toolbar, then Customize, the box with the toolbar options opens, but my Navigation bar icons disappear, so I can't add the spaces, bars, etc. to it. How do I fix that? 2) I can reposition the icons in the Navigation bar without being in Customize, with the exception of the Search Address box. How do I reposition the Search Address box? Thanks.

Opening in the Sidebar is the default action for bookmarks that are created via a "Bookmark this Page" link or button on a website. Make sure you use the many "Bookmark this Page" methods that are in Firefox instead.
Right-click those bookmarks and select '''Properties''', then un-check the preference for '''Load this bookmark in the sidebar''', and then click Save.

the navigation bar is missing from the insert dropdown panel according to the picture in help it should be directly under fireworks HTML and it is not any suggestions?

What help version are you reading and what version are you using? I have a feeling they do not match. If you want to make a navigation menu you could use Insert->Spry->Spry Menu Bar.

Justify Hyperlink Text in Navigation Bar

I am trying to justify the text of my navigation bar (which are all hyperlinks). I would like to use css. I have tried a variety of things but none seem to work. I have attached the text. How do I clear Navigation bar? Under Tools "clear private date" does not bring up a dialog box.

I'm trying to clear the navigation bar. Where I type in the web address "www.somethingsomething.com"... The list under there is too long. Using the Tools pull down menu and selecting "clear private data" does nothing. No box pops up. Under options, I've done everything to clear out the history. Everything remains. Any help? Thanks.

Ok, I put a check in the box "Ask me before clearing private data"... now a box does pop up... Items checked are "browsing history, cache cookies, offline website data and authenticated sessions". Item not checked "saved passwords". Items listed but in light gray and unable to put a check "download history, saved form & search history." I hit the "clear private data now" option, nothing happens, except that box goes away. I click on the little down arrow on the navigation bar, and all the things are still there. I'm beyond dumbfounded why! Help please. Thank you.

Why do all the unused icons appear in a box on the navigation bar after I download a file?

Since the last Firefox upgrade last week a large box of all the unused icons appears on the navigation bar after I download a file. If I click on this box, the previous download information appears. The icons in the box aren't useable. This box doesn't appear when I first open Firefox. The box is so big it crowds out the other items in the navigation bar. Any ideas?

This issue is caused by a broken extension that isn't working properly and that doesn't support the current Firefox release.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Somehow hyperlinked whole page, now navigation bar doesn't work

I was trying to add a hyperlink to the bottom of my page, and somehow made the whole page the hyper link. Now my navigation bar doesn't work. When I scroll with my mouse to show me if there is something hiding the navigation bar, the whole page including the navigation bar seems to be one image. How do I fix this? I tried starting a new page, but have trouble formatting the columns properly again. HElp??? if you want to see what I'm talking about, its the Resume page that has the inactive nav bar, and the Resumee page that I can't format right... http://web.me.com/lauren.kelly

Just checked the Resume page and the entire page, except for the navbar is a link to download your resume as a Word document. The file didn't have an extension but I added the .doc extension and it opened in Pages as a Word document.
If you don't want the document to be downloaded check the page in iWeb to see if you see the hyperlink icon somewhere on the page. Select the object it's attached to and use the Inspector/Link/Hyperlink pane to remove it as a link.
The links in the navbar are working as they should. It's just the body of the page that has an "unwanted" (?) link.
