Hyperlink box is not active when attempting to link text to a webpage

In Numbers Application, I attempted to link text in a box to a web page.
The Inspector box for Hyperlinks was not active.
It also was not active when I attempted the same through Insert
Suggestions?

Enable Alerts not Active when using have multiple series in chart

Alerts option is not active when, I am having Multiple series in a Chart.....
is this common in Xclesius, is there any alternative for should alerts.

Multiple series alert functionality is available in SP 4. Use Combination cart for multiple series. You will get that option for sure.
I am using it.
My suggestion is, you download SP4 and then continue your development.
as you said you are using Fix Pack 3.5.

The problem was my connected bluetooth keyboard.

MacOSX (10.9): Print dialogue box does not appear when printing PDF's

I've been having some troubles with the latest version of Adobe Reader on an intel-based MacBook Pro running MacOSX 10.9 (Mavericks).
Environment Details:
Device type: MacBook Pro
OSX: 10.9 (Mavericks)
Adobe Reader version: 11.0.06
Details:
After installing Reader 11.0.06, the print dialogue box does not appear through the print button or through File -> Print... . As a result, I simply cannot print PDF documents when using Adobe Reader.
- Only 1 MacBook Pro affected
- The print dialogue box does appear for other application (i.e. Preview, Word, Excel, etc., etc.)
- Multiple restarts performed
- Attempted to download older versions with no success
- Attempted multiple uninstall/reinstalls
- Reset the CUPS printing system multiple times
- Validated that the account accessing/using Reader has full administrative privileges to the Adobe Reader application
- Occurs for multiple PDF's from various sources
-> Online source
-> Converted from Word
Additionally (I'm unsure if this is related or not), but after trying to perform an update, I receive the following error:
An unimplemented or obsolete function was called
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have created some UDFs in Payment header. When we use Invoice + Payment, these UDFs are not active. How to update them at the same moment with invoice issuing and without going to Banking module?

I think you need to click a check box in settings under Setting User definde fields.
See the Path Tools--->Userdefined fields>Settings-> Click on Active to your UDF.

Keyboard & trackpad not active when booted!

Got a white 2.0GHz Intel Core2Duo 13" with 1GB RAM and OS 10.5.8.
The keyboard and trackpad are suddenly locked when the the machine is booted. The cursor is in the same place after restart - not movable - but not frozen either. Because when I insert a CD or DVD it autostart the respective item, and the cursor becomes the spinning beach ball for some seconds....iow. NOT frozen. None of the keyboard buttons will work except the on/off button. So I thought for a minute that the keyboard was physically shortcutted. But upon restart, I was able to run a PRAM reset (Alt-Cmd-R-P) - also ejecting a DVD, that would NOT eject when fully booted....
So it must be a software related problem. Or is it a "panel lock" or "key lock" function that I've activated accidentally???
Thanks for any input on this. I will in the meantime try to restart from the OS DVD.

Some additional info:
System profile tells me it's a MacBook 1,1 with a Intel Core Duo (not a Core2) - if it makes any difference.
Well, I booted up from a Leopard install DVD, and everything related to keyboard and trackpad works. Run Repair Disk Permissions, and Verify Disk - just when I'm at it!
Restart from internal disk again....Nope. No keyboard or mouse action....
Time the reinstall the complete OS perhaps.

Hello. Since my last firefox update, I have been unable to type an email - the box within which one would usually type does not appear when I press 'reply' to a received email, or press 'compose'. I can still add an attachment to the email header, which successfully can be sent, but the recipient gets my standard email 'signature' with font messages and the attachment. Can anyone help? My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Disk Utility hangs ("not responding") when attempting to Repair Disk on Time Capsule sparsebundle. Help.

I am trying to improve the performance of my Time Machine backup and retrievals via my 2nd Gen. Time Capsule from my iMac Core 2 Duo hard drive with SL 10.6.8. The incremental backups generally take 20 - 40 minutes each hour generally with fewer than 100 MB of data being backed up. I have read through numerous threads on these forums about Time Capsule and Time Machine issues as well as the very helpful Pondini site (http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/Home.html) and have tried many other suggestions (listed below), but have been unable to attempt a Disk Utility repair disk on the Time Capsule sparsebundle file.
After locating the sparsebundle 'file' in the finder under Shared/TC/Data, I am only sometimes able to drag the sparsebundle into the Disk Utility volumes and disk window. About fifty percent of the time, Disk Utility hangs when attempting to drag in the sparsebundle. If I am able to get it listed and click on "repair disk", then the beach ball begins to spin and nothing happens. This occurs whether or not I first use AirPort Utility to "Disconnect All Users" from the Time Capsule. I have given it over one hour to attempt the repair disk, but nothing happens, i.e., not a single message shows up in the detail window. The beach ball just spins, and Disk Utility shows up in red as "not responding" under the Force Quit menu.
Also note that on my new Macbook Air, Time Machine runs quite quickly via this same Time Capsule from my new Macbook Air using OS X Lion (which seems to indicate that the Time Capsule drive itself is OK).
I would appreciate any tips on getting Disk Utility to run "repair disk" on my sparsebundle, as I seem to have exhausted most other options (see below) for improving Time Capsule performance -- aside of course, from wiping the Time Capsule clean and starting all over.... (which I really don't want to do, and from what I've read, has not helped some people who've tried this anyway).

Although I would like to focus this thread on the Disk Utility / sparsebundle "Repair Disk" problem, I should mention that I have tried the following other things:
1. Repaired disk permissions on my hard drive
2. Used Disk Utility to run "repair disk" on my hard drive after starting up from a SuperDuper external backup
3. Run DiskWarrior on my hard drive, again, from a separate startup disk
4. Did the "full reset of Time Machine", a la Pondini Troubleshooting #A4
5. Changed my computer and Time Capsule names to simple short names with only alphanumeric characters and no spaces
6. Ensured that my Time Capsule is being accessed only via ethernet
7. Relaunched the finder
8. And finally, attempting to use Disk Utility to repair the sparsebundle - thus the nature of this post

OK, no takers out there, but I answered my own question (sort of).
The answer is that even though Disk Utility shows up as "not responding" under the Force Quit menu and appears to hang, it is actually still working. A bit of patience shows that after about an hour, my Disk Utility was able to show the 1.44 TB Time Machine sparsebundle from Time Capsule in the disk window on the left hand side. Once this appeared, I was able to click on "Repair Disk" (note that prior to doing this, I had to "Disconnect All Users" from my Time Capsule using the Airport Utility program; otherwise you will get a "could not unmount disk" error). Again, the Repair Disk function appeared to hang Disk Utility as it showed up as "not responding" under the Force Quit menu. However, after about 8 hours, Disk Utility did run the entire Repair Disk protocol on the sparsebundle. The results DO NOT show up in the Disk Utility details window - so even if you are patient enough to let it complete, you will not see anything and may think that nothing happened. However, you can find the familiar results of the Repair Disk function by looking on Console - find the "DiskUtility.log" under Files: ˜/Library/Logs.
Unfortunately, I was hoping to find a problem that would have been subsequently repaired which would result in dramatically increased Time Capsule speed, but this was not the case. Disk Utility showed everything to be "OK" and I am stuck with a very slow Time Capsule....
(And of note, my new Macbook Air (OS Lion) Time Machine functions blazingly fast on both backup and retrieval to and from the very same Time Capsule - even though, these are occuring wirelessly via AirPort -- granted the size of this sparsebundle is an order of magnitude smaller at this point, i.e., only 10 GB right now)
Would still be happy to hear of any similar experiences or tips on getting Time Capsule to work more quickly.

I-Photo does not respond when attempt to print

When I attempt to print from I-Photo my Mac Book Pro (OS X Yosemite) the app locks up (won't respond). Printer HP Photosmart 7520, wireless. Can print other docs. Recently worked with HP on the printer because would not reconnect when when to sleep mode but that has been fixed. Any suggestions?

The Application and the Library are two different things. SO, no, but you should always make a back up before doing this kind of thing:
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

Text box should not appear when printed

Need to create a 4-line text box/form field/comment to give users instructions, but box should not be visible when printed. A form/text field can be set-up to be visible but not printed, however, it will not allow multiple lines of text in it.
Any suggestions?
