Hyperlink color doesn't change when hovering over link

I create hyperlink, color I select for hovering over link works fine. But sometimes when I publish to my website the link color does not change, but the link works ok. I go back to my mac and check, sure enough the color changes just fine. I wipe out the link and reinsert new one. Works fine on the mac, but when I publish, color does not change when hovering. Help.

Welcome to the discussions. This is a long shot, but try clearing your browser's cache and reloading the page — then see if the color changes when hovering. ( In Safari, click on the Safari menu and choose +Empty Cache...+ )

  • How do I change the color of the highlight when hovering over answers in the quiz?

    Hi
I am trying to change the color of the highlight when hovering over answers in the quiz.  My companies standard font color is grey and so is the highlight when i hover answers.
Is it possible to change this?
    Thanks
    Charlene

No, it is (still) not possible to change that hover color, not even in CP8.0.1. I recommend to enter a feature request: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form

  • Yellow pop up box when hovering over links missing in CC?

The behavior when hovering over links in the Links Panel in CS6 was a yellow pop up box with the full path of the link displayed.
I find that is not the behavior in CC and I am really missing that.
Have I missed a setting somewhere to enable this in CC?

    That was it.
Tool tips was not enabled. Enabling it brings back the yellow box. Didn't really think of that as a tool tip.
    Thanks

  • Yellow Box when hovering over links

    Hi All,
I have read a few discussions surrounding the 'yellow box' that appears when hovering over links in safari. Last I read some time ago revealed this is an intergrated 'feature' of safari. Is this still the case?? Or have enough users complained to have this 'feature' squashed (fingers crossed.....)
    Thanks

You may keep your fingers crossed.  Hovering produces the yellow information box.
    Ciao.

  • Safari 7.0 problem when hovering over links

Recently updated to Mavericks and Safari 7.0.  Now encountering a problem with my wordpress website www.robinmandel.net (and several other sites that use the same theme evince the same problem.)  Problem is: some links, both text and images, are now jumping around when moused over, making them impossible to click and disrupting the formatting of the page.  Same problem with Chrome.  Firefox works fine.  I've looked at my site on an older machine with Safari 6 and no problem.  Thoughts?

    Use another theme.

  • Cursor does not change when hovering over pop-up window link

I created a text link for a pop-up window. The link does work, but the cursor does not change to a pointy finger, the standard link icon.
I don't know a lot of javascript, but can figure it out if it's just adding some code. This was done in CS3. Any help would be appreciated! Here's the code:
    function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
      window.open(theURL,winName,features);
    Thanks in advance.
    Todd

A link would be nice but I suspect that you are not gettign the finger (you knwo what I mean) when you roll over the link because your href is  not set to anything.
    <a href="" onclick=MM_openBrWindow('images/image.jpg','largeDisplay','scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,width=100,height=120')
Set your href to "#" or "javascript:;" - the latter is preferred.

  • Rotate cursor doesn't appear when hovering over a placed images corner node

Sometimes I can manually rotate an image by hovering my cursor near the corner node of a placed image till it changes to the rotate cursor then clicking and dragging the node to rotate the image.
Other times hovering around the node doesn't make the rotate cursor appear. Even if I make the image small so there should be room to rotate within the canvas.
Why am I not able to rotate an image this way all the time?

And of course I just figured out I have to switch to the the Selection Tool to rotate after using the Direct Selection Tool to select the image.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Why does FF6 jump up and down when hovering over links

When the mouse cursor rolls over a link, FF6 jumps up about an inch. When I roll over again, it jumps down the same amount. It also sometimes happens on text boxes and other input items.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • How to eliminate extra white when hovering over with a back ground color?

I just finished my menu and I notice that the hovering color is not hiding all the white.  Does someone know how to eliminate extra white when hovering over with a back ground color?
    http://www.tammyfarringtoncreative.com/test/index.html
    Thanks!

You have heights on the ul, li as 36px and a line-height of the text of 35px so they are not matching up.  Personally speaking I would normally recommend using padding on the links to create the height and not set the height on the ul or li elements.

  • Graphics that appear when hovering over menu buttons

    Hello,
I use to create menus in DVDSP 1 that would allow me to associate a picture with menu text.
I would like to do that now, and have the picture show up when the button is either hovered over or selected. This would be in addition to the text changing colors when hovered over.
    Thanks.

Just to take Aldershot's suggestion a tad further...
You can do this in several ways - firstly, you can use a Photoshop layer based menu, but there are good reasons not to do that. However, if you need full colour and have a complex design this might be your only choice.
Secondly, you can use an overlay menu and mask off areas of the background with the overlay shapes. Setting the opacity to 0% for the selected and activated states will reveal what is under the overlay shape - you can have the graphic set into the background and achieve what you want.
Finally, you need to remember that the overlay pictures can only hold four colours so to reveal an image by setting it in to the overlay is not going to be very good overall.
There is more about this here:

    Hi,
Have a look at the user status table TSOCM_STAT_PROP and see if there are any unwanted PROCESS_TYPE <> STSMA combinations.
For your process type there should only be one kind of status schema assigned.
