Hyperlink color not showing up

I can get the hyperlink to be a color when I'm editing/composing a blog entry; but when I publish it, it looks black until you roll over it. You can't even tell it's a hyperlink unless you would accidentally roll over it. What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem with hyperlink colors viewed in Safari 3.1.2, whether Normal or Rollover Format. Firefox 3.0.1 displays the colors as formatted in iWeb. I was having this issue prior to and still with iWeb 2.0.4. Click here to see what I mean and look at the links in the text box. I have the Normal color set to Midnight and the Rollover color set to Steel in iWeb.
Update; Actually, Firefox is not displaying the colors 100% either. At the bottom of the text box where it says photo gallery and resume, photo gallery is not in the Midnight color.

  • Spot colors not showing correctly in acrobat 11

    Spot colors not showing correctly in the output preview as well as the page correctly. I have a spot pms
    295 on a page in a few different areas of text and backgrounds. The spot color shows on 1 of my backgrounds
    and text and a spot color on another background does not. These items are on the same page. Although I
    can use the eyedropper to check the color of these items and it states the spot color is present. The page
    also prints correctly. Previews not happening.

    I included 3 screen shots from Acobat 11 of the test requested. Also, included the last screen shot from Acobat 9 of same file.
    Which shows correct preview. To eliminate possible ICC profile issue. I did change profiles to all that were in the profile list
    with no change in either test.

  • Div background color not showing in Internet Explorer 8 and before

    My Footer div is not showing the background color (supposed to be black...)  in Internet Explorer 8 and earlier.  It's assuming the body color instead.  Also the border color on top of the 'bubbles' that run across the page is wrong (supposed to be blue)    Is this just because Internet Explorer 8 and earlier did not support div background and border colors yet, or is there a work-around??  Or maybe I did something wrong?

    No its doesnt
    I'd just use a hexidecimal color - black #000 and blue: #03f (see below)
    .footer {
    position: relative;
        width: 100%;
        padding-top: 0px;
        padding-right: 0;
        padding-bottom: 0px;
        padding-left: 0;
        background-image: none;
        background-repeat: repeat-x;
        margin-top: 0px;
        clear: both;
        height: 350px;
        background-color: #000;
    #bubble {
        background-image: url(Images/water drop 0banner.jpg);
        background-repeat: repeat-x;

  • Colors not showing up in Photoshop. Worked fine the first day, now when I click on a color it comes out in gray tones. Pop up about RAM storage?

    Just downloaded Photoshop and there was a pop up box that mentioned my RAM and something about not enough RAM left for certain 3D features, filters, and image/color graphics(?). I continued. Everything was working fine the first time I went to use it, but the next day I opened the program and could not get any colors to show up. How can I fix this?

    Go to Image>Mode and make sure you color is RGB, not gray scale. Also, a preference reset might help: Ctrl/Cmd+Alt/Opt+Shift as you initiate Photoshop startup.

  • Traffic Lights For Hyperlinks panel not showing. INDESIGN.

    My traffic lights for the hyperlinks panels are not showing and I have the latest version of CC. How do I show/hide them? Thanks

    First, make sure you have InDesign CC 9.2.1. Choose InDesign > About InDesign (Mac) or Help > About InDesign (Windows).
    If you're up-to-date, try restoring your preferences:
    Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

  • Gridlines and alternating row colors not showing!?

    I selected the entire spreadsheet & invoked gridlines and alternating colors but there are patches where neither one took hold thus is not showing. Anyone know what other setting is off?

    Hi,
    Can you post a screenshot? Do you mean you selected one table on a sheet by clicking the "bulls-eye" to the upper left of the table? Or did you select cells within a table? (I don't think it is possible in Numbers to "select the entire spreadsheet.")

  • Why would my spot colors not show up under my separations preview?

    I just sent a job back to press that has 2 spot colors. I let the rip do the separations and I got 3 plates. Black and my 2 spot colors. There is no black that I'm aware of in the document but when I previewed it at the rip, it showed stuff on the black plate.
    So, back at the computer, I checked my elements and they look like they are colored correctly so I was going to do a separations preview in ID. Neither of my spot colors are showing up in there. Any thoughts?
    IDCS2

    Perhaps add the swatch icon to the sep preview, and use a combo icon, the process sq with the spot circle in the middle. But the swatch would out of necessity be unselectable and grayed, so perhaps that would be sufficent. And then there would be the problem of using with more than 10 spots (not unusual for me, BTW), when the preview would be all grayed.
    It would be a great idea to have the indication.
    Rats, if I hadn't had such a busy day I could of nipped Bob on this one, which I had figured before I finished the first post (six hours late!). I do a of of packaging with eight spots (we're going to start using a ten unit press soon, that should be fun), and perhaps it helped that I use the ink manager frequently just for this, because a job with eight printing spots could also have another three or four spots related to substrate and construction details, so I keep those converted to process until it's time to send off the printer's file.

  • Problem with PDF viewing Colors not showing correctly (or black and white)

    My iMac and my Macbook are both not showing the pictures in a PDF correctly. My collegue who uses a Macbook has no issues.
    Im using version 10.7.5 on my macs.
    I have tried using the standard ' Preview' as wel as two different free PDF vieuwers from the Appstore.
    Also the sender of the document has no issues as wel with the PDF document she made with Indesign.
    I'm sure it has to do with my computers, but where do I have to look?
    Thanks for helping.
    Anything that might be helpfull.

    Since InDesign documents are truly PDF compliant I would, were I you, use a truly PDF compliant viewer - Adobe Reader.
    To learn how Preview can really screw up a PDF document (and this is just a simple form) see -> http://khkonsulting.com/2013/06/preview-app-killer-of-pdf-files/.

  • Hyperlink font colors not showing as desired

    I've created my text, hyperlinked it to another page or another website, and formatted it to the color and rollover and visited colors. But on the web it shows another color and some of the rollovers work and some don't. Suggestions?

    Sometimes you have to remove and reapply the link and formatting to get them to stick.  A good way to check is to publish the site to a folder on your hard drive and open it locally with your browser.  Also be sure to clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload the page.

  • WYSIWYG Color not showing in PDF

    Output Designer 5.6
    Hi , I have two color shaded boxes on my form - a yellow -and- a light blue. When I output to PDF these show as grey :( .
    However to test if color is working I included some Blue text in Arial to the form and this prints as Blue ! on the PDF .
    What is the secret for color shaded boxes to also appear on PDF?
    Thanks in Advance.

    I got it to show in color , though looks like it works when you use a solid background and not a mesh.

  • "background color not showing"

    Hi all,
    I am back with a new problem..hope u guys will help me out..
    I have a very basic prgm where i am trying out the GUI things..
    here is my code:import java.lang.* ;
    import java.awt.* ;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.* ;
    class SecTest {
    public static void main(String args[])
      JFrame MyFrame = new JFrame("MyFrame");
      MyFrame.setBackground(Color.pink);
      // MyFrame.show();//if i put it only here..it doesnt show me the string
      MyFrame.setBounds(100,100,400,400);
      MyFrame.addWindowListener(new WindowAdapter()
        public void windowClosing(WindowEvent e)
          System.exit(0);
      Toolkit MyTk = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
      Image MyImg = MyTk.getImage("not.gif"); // not.gif is in my current directory
      MyFrame.setIconImage(MyImg);
      Container MyContentPane = MyFrame.getContentPane();
      JPanel MyPanel = new JPanel();
      MyContentPane.add(MyPanel);
      MyContentPane.add(new NewPanel());
      MyFrame.show();
      // but then if i have .show() at both places..i just get a flash of pink background and again the usual gray one..
    class NewPanel extends JPanel {
    public void paintComponent(Graphics g)
      super.paintComponent(g);
      Font f = new Font("SansSerif", Font.BOLD+Font.ITALIC, 20);
      g.setFont(f);
      g.setColor(new Color(0,128,124));
      g.drawString("Hello There..This is my first GUI program",50,50);
    };Thanks & Regards,

    You want to set the JPanel color pink so it shows, because that's the topmost layer, not the frames. And the reason why if you add show() up there your String doesn't appear, is because you haven't created the JPanel that display that yet. You need to use show() after you've created all your components so they appear. Here's the modified code:
    import java.lang.* ;
    import java.awt.* ;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.* ;
    class SecTest {
    public static void main(String args[])
      JFrame MyFrame = new JFrame("MyFrame");
      //MyFrame.setBackground(Color.pink);
      // MyFrame.show();//if i put it only here..it doesnt show me the string
      MyFrame.setBounds(100,100,400,400);
      MyFrame.addWindowListener(new WindowAdapter()
        public void windowClosing(WindowEvent e)
          System.exit(0);
      Toolkit MyTk = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
      Image MyImg = MyTk.getImage("not.gif"); // not.gif is in my current directory
      MyFrame.setIconImage(MyImg);
      Container MyContentPane = MyFrame.getContentPane();
      JPanel MyPanel = new JPanel();
      MyContentPane.add(MyPanel);
      MyContentPane.add(new NewPanel());
      MyFrame.show();
      MyFrame.show();
      // but then if i have .show() at both places..i just get a flash of pink background and again the usual gray one..
    class NewPanel extends JPanel {
    public void paintComponent(Graphics g)
      super.paintComponent(g);
      setBackground(Color.pink);
      Font f = new Font("SansSerif", Font.BOLD+Font.ITALIC, 20);
      g.setFont(f);
      g.setColor(new Color(0,128,124));
      g.drawString("Hello There..This is my first GUI program",50,50);
    };
