Hyperlink font

When I type in a hyperlink to a document, the font is too light to see (and these need to be printed).  How do I change the color of the font on a hyperlink?

It's a known fault in that software. The only permanent solution is to uninstall it.
You could try contacting ASGATech to see if they have a newer version or a fix.

  • Bold hyperlink fonts in Safari update

    After running Safari update, all hyperlink fonts are displayed as bold on pages such as CNN, MSNBC, etc. How do I get the fonts to display as regular (not bold) style? I've reviewed recent posts but don't see any solutions for this problem. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello joey:
    Welcome to Apple discussions.
    I do not have that issue.
    Try clearing the Safari cache and running permission repair.

  • Hyperlink font color

    This seems like it must be a simple one but I am out of time
    and can't figure out how to set the font color of a hyperlink. The
    font color in the CSS rule is white. When I change it to a
    hyperlink it changes to blue. I want it white.

    Pseudo-classes and container styles are what you need - here

  • Hyperlink font colors not showing as desired

    I've created my text, hyperlinked it to another page or another website, and formatted it to the color and rollover and visited colors. But on the web it shows another color and some of the rollovers work and some don't. Suggestions?

    Sometimes you have to remove and reapply the link and formatting to get them to stick.  A good way to check is to publish the site to a folder on your hard drive and open it locally with your browser.  Also be sure to clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload the page.

  • JTextPane hyperlink color

    Hi there,
    this is an easy one, I reckon... haven't found a solution yet, though:
    How do you change the color of a hyperlink when displaying HTML in a JTextPane?
    Neither the link, vlink etc. <body> tags, nor the corresponding CSS attributes (a:link {color: #foobar;} etc.) lead to the desired effect. Funny enought, setting things like hyperlink font style seem to work using the latter method!
    Any idea?

    Hi,
    You say you have tried to set the foreground color in the attributeset and it didn't work. Are you sure you did this coreectly.
    This is how I trid and it worked for me.
            SimpleAttributeSet attr2 = new SimpleAttributeSet();
            attr2.addAttribute(StyleConstants.NameAttribute, HTML.Tag.A);
            attr2.addAttribute(HTML.Attribute.HREF, s);
            StyleConstants.setForeground(attr2,Color.blue);
            StyleConstants.setUnderline(attr2, true);
            setAttributeSet(attr2, false);
            m_doc.insertString(m_doc.getLength(), s, attr2);

  • Email format lost in draft folder

    Is there a way to keep the formatting when saving an email to the draft folder?
    I'm using Yosemite, and when saving an email to the draft folder, upon reopening it, it loses its 'rich text' format (even if I select the 'Rich Text' option in the 'composing' tab of preferences), hence all the hyperlinks, font formatting, lists, etc.
    I suspect it's a bug, but does anybody have any suggestion? Thx

    I still don't know WHY the mail draft disappeared (anyone an idea?), but at least I have it back!
    I went to home>Library>Mail>POP-xxx>Drafts.mbox>Messages and from there entered TM, went 2 days back where I found it.

  • When unchecking 'embed fonts' hyperlinks go away.

    LiveCycle 9.  When I reload a pdf that was generated by LC, and go to: Form Properties | Save Options, and uncheck the "embed fonts" checkbox, all the hyperlinks in the form dissapear.
    This is a secondary process after the form has been initially saved with the fonts. (Apparently, there is no way to generate a pdf from xdp without embedding the fonts.) All I want to do is remove the embedded fonts. The fonts do unembed and all the field functions and scripts still work.
    Do I need to wait to install the hyperlinks at this stage of the process?
    Or is there another solution?
    Thanks

    Interesting.   These old forms use embedded Arial for both static and fillable fields. We have always embedded Arial, but now want to reduce our file sizes and Arial is available everywhere in our system.
    If I load an old pdf, save as xdp and generate a new pdf form the xdp (with the grayed out "embed fonts"), the resulting form does have embedded Arial.  That's why we reload the newly generated pdf form back in to LC and then we can uncheck the "embed fonts". This form then, when saved, gives us a pdf form without Arial embedded.  It also has no hyperlinks...they have all been removed by the process.

  • Need on-click routine to change font and hyperlink to new slide

    Hi, I have created a slide that has multiple cells with text within a table. Is it possible that when a cell is clicked, the text within the button (table cell) can change and then hyperlink to another slide. I have the hyperlink working, but at a loss on how to control the text color during my slide show. Help please...

  • Font and Color Changes on Hyperlinks

    I am going mad on iWeb trying to format hyperlinks. No matter how I format the text, the moment you enable it as a hyperlink it defaults to whatever Apple set it at. The inspector shows all the right parameters but the link is unchanged.
    Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

    Unfortunately, the answer is there is no way within iWeb to change the hyperlink format. Perhaps Apple will add this feature in a future release.

  • How to stop text box on iWeb page from automatically reverting to hyperlink when I click 'save'

    As far as I see, the main text box in the body section of my iWeb page reverts to a hyperlink (connecting to a file) when I click save.  I don't know how the hyperlink got activated to begin with--I must have done something, but I don't know what it was.  I tried this many times to fix it: went to Inspector "hyperlink" section, activated the text box in the page, un-clicked "make hyperlinks active" (so they are inactive), then un-clicked "Enable as a hyperlink."  That much works--the hyperlink (little white arrow in blue circle) disappears from the lower right corner of text box.  But as soon as I save (command S), the text box reverts to a hyperlink.
    If I don't click save and move around the pages, it does not revert to a hyperlink.  It only reverts to a hyperlink when the file is saved.  Why is it doing this and how to stop this from happening--how to permanently return the text box to a non-hyperlink?
    The website page is: http://www.usronline.net/USR/VedicResearch.html.  If you click anywhere randomly in the main text, you'll get a prompt to download a PDF file.  This should not be, but I can't get this hyperlink to go away for good.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Please pardon the reply delay--a big project deadline had to be met.  Now back to this work:
    Yes, the text in the oval object had a drop shadow (the oval object itself did not).  I removed the drop shadow from the text, but the image file icon stayed in the right corner of the oval object.  I deleted the text and then the image file icon disappeared.  But as soon as I typed text again inside the oval object (not even pasting the previous text) the image file icon appeared again.  I deleted the oval object entirely and simply typed the text inside the main text box itself.  The image file icon that was attached to that oval object is gone (along with the oval object).
    Still the image file icon is attached to the main text box, though.  I again tried to uncheck the Enable as hyperlink (same process as described in first posting) with that oval object gone, but when I "save" again it reverts to a hyperlink.
    Next I tried this: I copied the text from the problem text box and pasted it into another text box (outside of the problem one).  Still in the new text box with the pasted text, the image file icon shows in the upper right corner.
    I also removed all the drop shadow features from this main text box (there was one more, on some words typed in the main text box), but it is still showing as an image.
    I don't know how it became an image file, and I'm still stumped as to how to fix it (short of forgetting about trying to figure out how it became an image and just retyping all text into a new text box).
    The link you provided for "Web Safe Fonts" is returning this: "The server at www.ampsoft.net is taking too long to respond."  I'm using Arial and Georgia (Georgia only on the menu and header text) in the site, and I had verified before designing the site that these are web safe, so I had thought they were.
    If you or anyone have any further suggestions or suspicions on this matter, I'd be glad to hear them.
    Thank you.

  • My hyperlinks have gone awry

    Help, my hyperlinks have done their own thing. I want all my hyperlinks to be blue as a:link. I defined my links in my external style sheet to be blue; however, when I visted my page in chrome or on my mobile phone some of my links are blue and the rest are purple. In chrome on the desktop, the "home" link in the navigation is blue and the rest of the links in the navigation are purple lol. This looks terrible to me and I'm sure others? How can I force each link to be blue, can I add a bit of code to the <a href ....> tad at every link to force each one blue? I have attached my source code and my external style sheet below. Please help me get this fixed. I've had this problem in previous designs as well. I know dreamweaver can be  buggy but there is usually a way around using the code. Thanks to all who help:

    <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">Hi Michael….Since starting this diet in April, I have lost 25 pounds!!! I love this diet…I eat plenty and have found</p>
    <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">many delicious recipes to sustain me. I eat an apple a day (along with a wide variety of other fruits) and have found that I actually crave the apple, I went to the fridge yesterday and found no apples in the fruit drawer, so I jumped in my car and headed straight for the local fruit stand to replenish my stock. ( like a smoker does for cigarettes) It&rsquo;s nice to know the many benefits I am getting with something I&rsquo;ve come to really enjoy!</p>
    <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;"> I have 5 pounds to go to accomplish my weight goal….once there, I may set a new one…just for fun!

      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">Hi Mike
    I just thought you might be interested on an update…
    I loved the 2-week phase diet so much that I had my 16-year-old daughter run through it once school let out. In 2 weeks, she dropped 24 pounds (including a significant amount of bloating around her midsection) and is under 200 pounds for the first time in years. She now has a waistline. Even more significantly, when she first started, she complained that the food was tasteless. That disappeared within a couple of days and my junk food-loving teen was able to appreciate the taste of fresh produce again. All the chemicals she was pumping into her body had so significantly altered her taste buds that she couldn&rsquo;t even taste real food until she&rsquo;d been able to cleanse her palate for a couple of days. Today was her first day off the meat-free diet and she really wanted a piece of marzipan (her favorite treat) and a bit of naan. Both repelled her when she tried to eat them. She complained that they tasted like chemicals! In fact, she ran to the fridge and piled a bunch of fresh veggies on plate to drown the awful taste of what used to be some of her favorite comfort foods.</p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">Here&rsquo;s the best part…she&rsquo;d suffered from debilitating migraines on a DAILY basis. They were so bad that she missed a significant amount of school over the past few years. She has not had a migraine since the second day of the meat-free diet.
        As for me, I&rsquo;ve noticed significant changes too. I used to have to take 3 pain relief pills to even begin to combat the headaches I&rsquo;d get from working at my computer. Now, even a half dose (1 Advil) will do the trick if I even need it. But most of all, I appreciate the closer bond this process has forged between me and my daughter. Although we&rsquo;ve always been extremely close, she resented my being a personal trainer and was loathe to follow any of my professional advice. That was the one area where we could never see eye-to-eye. But between going through this nutritional change and the talking we did on our hour-long daily walks together, she&rsquo;s found a new interest in living a healthy lifestyle. As a trainer, I am inspired by the benefits of your program. As a parent, I&rsquo;ll be forever grateful to you because Fat Loss Factor is showing my daughter that she can, indeed, succeed at making positive changes to her body and her health that will last a lifetime!</p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">Now, we&rsquo;re really eager to start exercising together. (I&rsquo;m taking your advice and skipping the lemonade detox, and I&rsquo;m reluctant to have my daughter do it considering her age and health history)
        Thanks again! You&rsquo;re a true guru in my book!</p>

      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 22px;"> </p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">LOL Michael, </p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">I actually have hypothyroidism and take medicine everyday but do not use it as an excuse for being overweight. I am overweight because I made bad decisions about food and did not exercise properly. </p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">Since starting your program I feel better and have gone down one size in clothing. Sure, there were a few modifications to ease into these changes. After all I am in my late 50s and have been out of shape for a long time. There has been a little cheating but not much. I am sticking with this and will tighten the reins more and more as time goes by.</p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">By saying that I FEEL better means exactly that. I get better sleep. My joints more freer. I breath easier without so much abdominal pressure pushing up on my diaphram. It never occured to me flushing my system would make me feel so great. This ha such a positive effect on my attitude also.</p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">I recently tried the Flat Belly Diet. It had me eating every 4 hours and a MUFA with each meal. Yes there are 'good' fats but MUFAs are still fats. I was eating twice as much foods as before and about 10 times for fat then before. I gained weight and was demoralized. </p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">I watched your video many times over a period of several months before finally deciding to try your program. Within a week I noticed a tremendous difference. Flushing out the toxins from my body has made me convinced you have me going in the right direction. </p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">I am slowly trimming up. My whole attitude has changed. I FEEL better and am not starving myself or obessing over food. my appetite has decreased. It's that simple.</p>
      <p style="text-align: center; font-family: 'Myriad Pro'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; font-size: 19px;">Thank you for helping me change for the better. </p>

              font-weight: bold;
    p {
              font-family: "Myriad Pro";
              font-size: 19px;
              text-align: center;
    a:link {color:#00F;
    h3 {
              font-family: "Myriad Pro";
              font-size: 19px;
              text-align: center;
    Thanks so much, as above you can see I defined a:link {color: blue;}

    In CSS, there are five states for links
    a:link
    a:visited
    a:hover
    a:active
    a:focus
    a:link (=unvisited, or never clicked)
    a:visited (=clicked at least once)
    a:visited is purple in most browsers by default.
    Thus, you need to define a:visited in your CSS and it should come after a:link (otherwise you'll never see it)
    One solution would be:
    a:link, a:visited {
              color: #00F;
    but bear in mind that visitors find it handy if a:visited is a different color to a:link so they know which links they've already clicked on.
    a:link {
              color: #00F;
    a:visIted {
              color: #SOME OTHER COLOR TO A:LINK;
    a:hover {
              color: #F00;

  • How To Change Hyperlinks And Nav Menu Colors

    I continue to see people stating that it's impossible to change hyperlink colors and navigation menu colors until after you publish your site. This is not true. It's quite easy to update your templates with the colors YOU want and when you update the template, you never have to mess with any post-processing. You make a new page? Your colors are already there.
    I've gone over this before in this thread:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3288533&#3288533
    But I'll go over the quick and dirty version here as well. Those who want more detail can post a question and I'll elaborate.
    First, do you know how to get into iWeb's inner folders? You right click or control click on your iWeb icon and select Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu.
    Step 2
    Once you've done that, you'll see a new Finder window that shows a folder called Contents. Open that and then open the next folder Resources. Within Resources there's a folder named Shared. Open the Shared folder.
    You're now looking at your collection of iWeb template files. You'll notice that each template has seven individual page files - each file defines the layout and styles for the page for which its named. This is actually one of the two places where you'll find the data/images that make up your iWeb pages. This location only contains the images. Now I'll show you were to find the data file.
    So you're currently here:
    /Applications/iWeb/Contents/Resources/Shared/
    You want to go here:
    /Applications/iWeb/Contents/Resources/English.lproj
    Now if you speak another language and your Mac's system language is set to the language you speak, substitue English with that language. If your system is set to English regardless of the language you speak, and you use the English templates, then stick with the English folder.
    When you're in the English.lproj folder, you will see seven sub-folders and one file named TemplatesInfo.plist. TemplatesInfo.plist is the file that registers the templates and tells iWeb what you've got in your collection. But we don't care about that file for now. We're after the template data files.
    The seven sub-folders are aptly named for each of the seven page-types as you can see. Open the About Me folder.
    Now you will see an "about me.webtemplate" file for every template you have in your collection. Good job. You've learned something new. Move on to Step 3.
    Step 3
    If you haven't decided yet, now's the time to decide which template you'd like to update. If you're just along for the ride to learn something new, no worries. We won't do anything you can't undo.
    Pick a template file now. Perhaps you chose the White template, or:
    White About Me.webtemplate
    Right click or control click on this file and select Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu. This will launch a new Finder window that displays the contents of the White About Me.webtemplate file.
    You will likely see a handful of different files, but the file you want is the one named Index.xml.gz.
    Index.xml.gz is the brain behind the template. Within this file are all the settings for the page you chose and it's really not hard to find what you want and change it. So let's take a peek.
    Step 4
    Double-click the file Index.xml.gz. This will reveal a new file named Index.xml. You might have to scroll down in your Finder window to see it. Rename Index.xml.gz to Index.xml.gz.backup in case you screw things up, you have your original.
    Now, open Index.xml with TextEdit. Do not open the file with a code editor unless you have already formatted the file.
    When the file opens, you'll notice it's one gigantic jumbled mess of stuff. No worries, we'll straighten that out. All you need to do is a find/replace.
    Find all instances of: ><
    And replace with:
    <
    The line break is important so maybe just copy the lines right out of this post. When you replace all of those, the file will be far more easy to view.
    Assuming you've completed that step. You're basically ready to make your change and test it out! Not hard ey?
    So let's say you want to change your hyperlink color from grey to blue. Search for this string:
    BLDefaultHyperlinkCharacterStyleIdentifier0
    When you find that string, you will see a few lines below it, two lines that look similar to this:
    <sf:fontColor>
    <sf:color xsi:type="sfa:calibrated-rgb-color-type" sfa:r=".8" sfa:g="1" sfa:b="0.4" sfa:a="1"/>
    This is how the template specifies color. It's RGB100. Your Mac came with a program called Art Director's Took Kit and that application can tell you the RGB100 values for any color you want. Tinker with that and you'll have a lot of fun with this.
    So I picked out a nice royal blue for you. The RGB100 values for it are:
    R:0 G:25 B:100
    What you need to do is update the color line to match those values:
    <sf:color xsi:type="sfa:calibrated-rgb-color-type" sfa:r="0" sfa:g=".25" sfa:b="1" sfa:a="1"/>
    Notice that you specify these in terms of a percentage, where 25 became .25 and 100 became 1.
    Step 5
    Save your file. It's time to see your work in action. Open iWeb if it isn't open already and create a new page using the template you've just altered. If you altered the White About Me page, then select that and create the new page.
    It there are hyperlinks already on this page, you should already see that they reflect your new color. If there aren't any hyperlinks, then type some text and create one. You should see your new link color right away!
    Now if you don't see the new color, either you picked the wrong page or you neglected to rename the Index.xml.gz file a few steps back. If you did not rename that file, then it's still in control of your template. Rename it now and try again.
    If you don't like that color, simply swap back to the TextEdit page and change it until you like it - switching back and forth between the file and iWeb to view your changes. Once you're happy, make note of the color you chose and make the change for the remaining six pages in the tempalte you selected. Just be sure to follow the steps for each page you edit. If you fail to see your change, again, check to see that you renamed Index.xml.gz.
    Side Notes
    For the more technical, rather than editing an existing template, you might want to duplicate and rename a template. This essentially creates a brand new one. If you're pretty good within Finder then go for it, just be sure that you duplicate the files in both locations:
    /Applications/iWeb/Contents/Resources/Shared/
    /Applications/iWeb/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/...
    Choose a unique name for the duplicated template and change every single file so that the new name replaces the old one. You would have to register this new template in the TemplatesInfo.plist file as well, but I'm not going to get into that here.
    The thread I referenced at the top has all kinds of search terms to find the other hyperlink styles (rollover and visited) and all the navigation menu styles plus a bunch of other fun stuff.
    Now, it seems long, but that's because I wrote it well. The shortest version of this I've ever written was two sentences, but that was for a UNIX geek and he got it. It's just as easy for you, but I write it out so that anyone can do this, because anyone can. It's just not hard.
    If you have questions about any of the steps, go ahead and ask.

    Good. Okay here's how to apply a background color to your nav bar buttons. For example, my Aerolite template sets the selected page to a black background color. The rollover effect uses a gradient fill. I'll describe both of those here.
    First, here are the navigation menu search terms:
    navbaritem-style-normal-default
    navbaritem-style-rollover-default
    navbaritem-style-selected-default
    navbar-pargraph
    The first three set the button effects and text colors. The last one there sets the font, font size and other paragraph styles.
    To change the selected page button background color, or gradient or image, first search for it using the search term above. Start from the top of the file because there are two instances of those terms, one where you can set the values, the other is only reference to the first and does not allow you to change settings.
    When you find the search term, you might want to insert an empty line above it to help separate it from the rest of the code. You can also insert an empty line below the section. The end of this style ends with:
    </sf:navbar-item-style>
    Be careful not to mix that up with </sf:navbaritem-character-style>
    Now, within this section, you'll find all kinds of settings... stroke, fill, character styles, etc. Notice you can change font color in there. But for this demo, you want to find the section that looks like this:
    <sf:fill>
    <sf:null/>
    </sf:fill>
    I'm assuming you're editing an Apple template that does not already have a fill effect. If it does have one, then your example might not look exactly like that.
    To apply a color fill, change those three lines to these lines:
    <sf:fill>
    <sf:color xsi:type="sfa:calibrated-rgb-color-type" sfa:r="0" sfa:g="0" sfa:b="0" sfa:a="1"/>
    </sf:fill>
    You can see that we've inserted the line that specifies color - something you should be familiar with by now. Here you can specify the color that will become the background of your nav bar button. This example specifies black. Easy no?
    If you would prefer a gradient fill, then replace those three lines with this:
    <sf:fill>
    <sf:angle-gradient sfa:ID="SFRAngleGradient-1111" sf:opacity="1" sf:type="linear" sf:angle="0">
    <sf:stops sfa:ID="NSMutableArray-1111">
    <sf:gradient-stop sfa:ID="SFRGradientStop-1111" sf:fraction="0">
    <sf:color xsi:type="sfa:calibrated-rgb-color-type" sfa:r="0.40" sfa:g="0.40" sfa:b="0.30" sfa:a="1"/>
    </sf:gradient-stop>
    <sf:gradient-stop sfa:ID="SFRGradientStop-2222" sf:fraction="1">
    <sf:color xsi:type="sfa:calibrated-rgb-color-type" sfa:r="0.64" sfa:g="0.66" sfa:b="0.54" sfa:a="1"/>
    </sf:gradient-stop>
    </sf:stops>
    </sf:angle-gradient>
    </sf:fill>
    Now, don't panic Here's what this is. The first line allows you to specify the angle of your gradient. Play with the numbers from 0 to 359 until you have what makes sense for your design.
    Then, you will see two familiar lines again - the lines that allow you to specify color! The first line is the first color of your gradient and the second color is the second color of your gradient. That's all there is to it!
    SECRET: It might be possible to add additional colors, not just two. Do you see the part sf:fraction="0" and sf:fraction="1"? These are gradient stops. I'm willing to bet that if you inserted a thrid gradient stop with a fraction setting of .5, you'd have a three-color gradient!
    <sf:gradient-stop sfa:ID="SFRGradientStop-3333" sf:fraction=".5">
    <sf:color xsi:type="sfa:calibrated-rgb-color-type" sfa:r="0" sfa:g="0.25" sfa:b="4" sfa:a="1"/>
    </sf:gradient-stop>
    I have never tried this - it just occurred to me as I was looking at this code. Big prize for the first person to prove the theory
    NOTE: You will notice that the number 1111 and 2222 are within this code. iWeb XML relies on identification tags here and there. It's nothing you really have to care about except if you insert gradient fills in more than one area. Those numbers need to be unique so if you paste that code in for your selected page button and then paste it again for your rollover buttons, you'll need to update the numbers for the second button. Any numbers are fine. Use 3333 and 4444 for the second set, 5555 and 6666 for the thrid and so on. I often just type 4345781476 - doesn't matter.

  • Adding Hyperlinks to text on a Summary Sheet in Powerpoint

    Hi
    I have a slide show that features No buttons, for questions 1- 10, If a user clicks a No button it prints a row of text with help for that particular topic.
    Im using vba to generate the wording and code for the summary page, see below
    Code for the No button is below
    Sub No1(button As Shape)
    If button.Fill.ForeColor.RGB <> RGB(128, 100, 162) Then
    button.Fill.ForeColor.RGB = RGB(128, 100, 162)
    Else
    button.Fill.ForeColor.RGB = RGB(255, 255, 255) ' default white colour
            End If
            q1Answered = False
            If q1Answered = False Then
            numIncorrect = numIncorrect + 1
            answer1 = "1. Answer to question 1 - Click Here for Further Help" & vbCr 'ADDED
            End If
    End Sub
    Code for the summary page is below
    Sub SummarySlide1() 'Summary Page for Create ADDED
        Dim printableSlide As Slide
        Dim homeButton As Shape
        Dim printButton As Shape
        Set printableSlide = _
        ActivePresentation.Slides.Add(Index:=summarySlideNumber1, _
    Layout:=ppLayoutText)
        printableSlide.Shapes(1).TextFrame.TextRange.Font.Size = 9
        printableSlide.Shapes(1).TextFrame.TextRange.Text = _
        vbCr & vbCr & vbCr & userName & _
        vbCr & "The following areas have been highlighted as one(s) which need development"
        printableSlide.Shapes(2).TextFrame.TextRange.Font.Size = 8.5
        printableSlide.Shapes(2).TextFrame.TextRange.Text = _
            answer1 & vbCr & answer2 & vbCr & answer3 & vbCr & answer4 & vbCr & answer5 & vbCr & _
            answer6 & vbCr & answer7 & vbCr & vbCr & answer8
            ActivePresentation.SlideShowWindow.View.GotoSlide 40
            MsgBox " Please Remember to Print Your Results before you leave this Page "
        ActivePresentation.Saved = True
    End Sub
    So what you end up with on the summary sheet is all the NO's the user has clicked
    for example
    1. Answer to question 1 - Click Here for Further Help
    What i'd like to do is turn the click here part in this text into a hyperlink to another web page
    Is there a way to do this using vba?
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks
    Jinks

    Hi Jinks,
    For this requirement, you could add a textbox with text: Click here, then use
    Hyperlink Object to add click action.
    With ActivePresentation.Slides(1).Shapes(3) _
    .ActionSettings(ppMouseClick)
    .Action = ppActionHyperlink
    .Hyperlink.Address = "http://www.microsoft.com"
    End With

  • How to retain the hyperlinks when converting Word doc to PDF?

    For adobe acrobat 9 pro, I can't figure out how to keep the hyperlinks working. If I create pdf from word doc by save as, it can't embed fonts, but links work. If I use "print" in word, it embeds fonts, but some hyperlinks didn't work. What to do to keep fonts embedded and links working? It drove me crazy! HELP!!!

    Depends on the version of WORD. With OFFICE 2007, go to the Adobe menu and select Create PDF (this is PDF Maker). That will save the links. A similar process is needed for OFFICE 2003. With OFFICE 2010, you will have to upgrade to AA X or add them in Acrobat manually.

  • Can't use toolbar, right-click menu or hyperlinks

    For some reason when I open a PDF, the bottom toolbar that fades in and out does not function at all. I can't click the save, print, zoom, next page buttons. Also,  when you right click on the PDF, the menu appears in a different spot than where you clicked.  I also have the issue that I cannot click any hyperlinks in the PDF. When I hold my mouse over them, it rapidly switches between the text editing mouse icon and the finger hand mouse icon.. I have also noticed that when you try to move the fading toolbar, that the toolbar you have clicked and started to drag appears far above/below where the mouse is.
    I have tried playing with many of the settings in the Edit > Preferences panel, with no luck on any of the. I have also fully uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader X with no luck. I have tried opening the PDF on multiple other computers and they can all open and function properly. I am not using a work around by downloading the PDF and using the actual Adobe Reader rather than the IE version. (I have also tried opening the PDF in FireFox and it too has the same issue.)  Any suggests would be great, I have no clue what else to do! Thank you in advanced

    I think I have solved the problem. If anyone else is having an issue with this, try looking at your font size settings in Control Panel > Display (Windows 7) . It needs to be set to iether 100% or 125% for Adobe Reader to work correctly.
