Hyperlink from Excel to Beehive Online

I created an excel navigator with some links from Excel to Beehive online a few months ago.
It has stopped workiing in the meantime, even though I know I have not made any changes to my links. This is not just happening on my PC, it is occurring on at least 2 other PC's that I am aware of.
Can anyone advise me?

Hi,
The BeehiveOnline system has been regularly upgraded over the last few months - the change from 1.5 to 2.0 would have changed the workspaces URL to teamcollab - maybe that has broken the link. Why not start again and replace the links with the correct ones from the current system?
Do the links work in a browser and not in excel?

Step 1. Install PDF Editor
1) Download PDF Editor and install this software by double clicking the exe file. During the installation, please follow installation message and choose the right option according to your needs.
2) Once the installation finishes, there will be an icon on the desktop. Please launch this software by double clicking the icon.
Step 2. Remove Hyperlinks from PDF
1) The following snapshot is from the software interface. Please click option Open to add PDF file to software interface. Or you can simply drag PDF file to software interface.
2) Please find option Edit Link then click it. The mouse will turn to cross. Please drag area around the picture which will lead you to website.
3) Then there will be red rectangle frame around it. Right click the red frame and choose Property in the dropdown list. Then you will see the dialogue box like I showed in the left named Link Properties. Here you can set link actions, like open a page in a document, open a file or open a website file. Those options are useful when you need to add hyperlinks. Meanwhile it is helpful when you need to remove hyperlinks.
4) If there is link on the image, the link will be shown on the Property tab. Please simply remove it here and then click button OK to back to the main interface.
5) By this way, the link will be removed successfully.

Hyperlinks from Excel 2010 to external programm

I have Microsoft Office 2010.
I am interested in addition hyperlinks to pivot table in Excel, which can mouve to the external web application (Global Specification System - the system of documentation management).
1. How can I add hyperlinks to pivot table?
2. When I add hyperlink to ordinary Excel table (to the certain document), the hyperlink mouves me not to the certain document, but to the start page.
Please let me know if you have any ideas how to realize this.

We cannot add hyperlinks to pivot Table directly, but we can use some VBA code to create fake hyperlinks in a pivot table,refer to the link below to learn how to get it work:

Hyperlinks from Excel to PDF

Hi,
I'm using Excel 2003 Pro. In a spreadsheet, I have a list that is distributed to a domain on a weekly basis as a PDF file. The Spreadsheet contains Hyperlinks linking to URL's. I'm using Acrobat 7.0 Standard. When I create the PDF-file from my Excel-sheet all the links disappear...?
Is there a way to keep the links from my Excel-sheet in a PDF-file...?

PS: Using link tool and edit links directly in PDF is not an option!!

well, the truth is, it doesnt work in ANY cases!!!
I mean, you can try it out as I did: open a new excel file, write click on it! in the first cell and make a hyperlink to a document or whatsoever.
It works perfectly in Excel but after the conversion, all i got was "click on it!" without any hyperlink!!!

What's wrong with my hyperlinks from Excel?

I'm creating a table of documents in Excel 2010, with hyperlinks in cells to the documents. I need to keep the documents as read-only, so I've pdf'd them, but now opening each one takes about 2 minutes. During the process I receive the message: 'Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete and OLE action' - three times!
If I open Adobe Reader first, then click on the links, I get the message: 'There was an error reading this document. The file cannot be found' - but thirty seconds later the document opens.
Word and PowerPoint versions of the documents open much quicker, without error messages. Anyone got any idea what's going wrong?
The files are on the same drive as the spreadsheet. Adobe Reader is version 10.

Opening a .pdf file from Excell 2011 hyperlink

I have a problem opening a .pdf file hyperlinked in Excel 2011 file.
The message is: "No program is registered to open this file".
If I go from explorer the file is regularly opened with Adobe Reader.

Delete the following item, then quit and relaunch Safari:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins/AdobePDFViewer.plugin

Is there a way to import data from excel -when one of the columns in excel is hyperlink column?

Is there a way to import data from excel - so if a column is hyperlink - the whole data will move to the list (text + link of the hyperlink column)?

Hi,
According to your description, you want to export excel which contains a hyperlink column to SharePoint list.
Refer to the following steps:
Open the Excel, insert/create the table.
Now click on any cell of table and go to the ‘Design Tools’.
Click on the Export and then ‘Export table to SharePoint List’.
You will see a popup where you need to provide the URL of SharePoint site, list name and description.
Then click on next, On the next screen you will see columns with data types which are going to create in SharePoint list.
Now click finish and wait until the operation gets finished. You will see that list gets created in SharePoint site with the records.

Connect to SharePoint Online Document Library from Excel

We have a number of people in the field who fill out fairly complex evaluation forms in excel. These forms are submitted to a document library in SharePoint Online
What I need to be able to do is report off these submitted excel files reading and consolidating specific data (they are all of a consistent format). There may be any number of excel sheets in the source document library
Previously I would have done this using VBA but I cannot find a way of connecting to a sharepoint online document library from excel vba - I am open to other options

Per my understanding, there is an XML file contains attributes. You want to upload it to a SharePoint library as well as extract the values of those attributes to
save to the corresponding columns of the SharePoint library.
As it is an Online environment, a workaround I would suggest is that you can create a client application(such as Windows Form Application) to extract values from the
XML file, then upload the file to SharePoint library, submit the values to the same library afterwards. All this can be achieved using SharePoint Client Object Model.

How to open a pdf at specific page from EXCEL hyperlink

I can open a .pdf from EXCEL using hyperlink. May I ask, if ever possible, how to open a .pdf at a specific page from EXCEL hyperlink ? I don't mean open a pdf then click on a bookmark or enter a page number. (I am using Adobe Reader v9.5.2 and MicrosoftOffice Profession Edition 2003.)

Adobe Reader XI freezes computer when opened from Excel hyperlink

My computer has been frozen multiple times after opening a pdf from a hyperlink in Excel. Sometimes it randomly freezes after reading the document for a while and sometimes it freezes when I try to close the document. I have Adobe Reader XI 11.0.06, I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS, and Excel 2010. The mouse will still move sometimes once things freeze up but clicking doesn't work and alt+ctrl+del doesn't bring up task manager either, so I have to hard reboot. Anyone have a fix for this?

The first thing I would try is to disable Protected Mode in Adobe Reader [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].

I need to upload data from excel to SharePoint list in SharePoint online site.
I can extract data from excel but how can i connect to the SharePoint online site and upload the data programmatically from a console exe.

Opening Hyperlinks inside Excel WebAccess webpart in the Same Window

I was trying to access Excel Web parts hyperlink like below, but this solution is not working for me.

Problem is .ewr-sheetcontainer has role="Presentation" atttribute,

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to set the hyperlink in Excel Access Web Part opening in the same window.
As the excel access web part is dynamic loading after the page load, so when the page has loaded, the excel web part element has not been loaded completely.
I suggest you can use setInterval method to run function circularly until the excel access web part has loaded in the page.

Reporting and exporting to Excel in SharePoint Online

I've developed a SharePoint site to replace a legacy Access database that dealt with consumer complaints and queries. In the Access database I'd developed a feature that allowed users to filter the complaints by a number of criteria and export them to Excel
and I'm trying to do the same in SharePoint.
If it were on-premises SharePoint I'd just create a parameterised SSRS report which would solve all my problems. However being SharePoint online, this is not an option. I'd like the users to be able to select complaints from any date range, for any category
of complaint and for any product supplier (plus a few other criteria). The idea is that they want to be able to then send the filtered data to individual suppliers. Doing this out of the box with views throws up several problems. The main one is that any export
to Excel of a view exports the entire set of data, meaning that users themselves would need to create a new view for every export they wished to perform, which is not practical.
My question is: what is the best way in SharePoint online to export a filtered subset of a list to Excel?
I can use SharePoint designer, but not C# in order to achieve the goal. We also have SharePoint Online Plan 2 if that makes it easier.

9.3.4 Update Broke HyperLinks to Excel Spread Sheets located on Same Domain.

I have created company procedural documents in PDF using Adobe Pro 9.3.3.
These procedures contain hyperlinks to Excel spreadsheets that are located on an Internal Domain File Server. When I click on the Hyperlink using Adobe Reader 9.3.3, Excel launches and opens the spreadsheet . Adobe Reader or Adobe Pro 9.3.4 won’t open the link. Adobe 9.3.4 pops up a Window saying the spread sheet cannot be found, make sure you type the name correctly so on and so on. I Click OK on the first pop up, a second Adobe Pop-up window opens saying "Could Not Open the file" followed by the correct path to the spread sheet. I just tested it on a computer running Adobe Reader 9.3.3 and the hyperlinks worked fine. I then Upgraded Adobe Reader to 9.3.4, absolutely no other changes, and the hyperlinks no longer work..Same pop up..Cannot find .xls"..."Could not open .xls"..
Hyperlink syntax being used is \\servername\sharename\folder\spreadsheet.xls . So what setting do I need to chase down in 9.3.4 to correct this? What changed in 9.3.4 from 9.3.3?

We are experiencing a similar problem with Reader 9.3.4
We have training products produced in Acrobat 6, as PDFs which have hyperlinks to run Flash movies (SWFs). The products are installed from CD onto users' hard drives.
The products have worked on hundreds of PCs and Macs, but as each customer updates to Reader 9.3.4 they report failure to open the SWFs.
The SWFs are organised in a hierarchy of folders depending on exact topic. All the movies are inside a "data" folder, then main topic folders, down to sub-topic folders.
I have found that the PDF hyperlinks will open a copy of the relevant SWF if it is placed in the same folder as the calling PDF, but not when it is in its rightful position down the path.
The initial error message shown when files are in their correct folders says e.g. "Cannot find anchoring_one.swf" suggesting that only the filename is called and not the path. However the second message, displayed when the first is acknowledged, says e.g. "Cannot open data/anchoring/anchoring_one.swf" So the hyperlink IS outputting the full path, but somehow it it is being truncated to file name only.
Seems that the call is produced from the hyperlink correctly, and registers with the system as full path. Then the call is passed forward to a function which should actually open the file and here loses its path, so file-open fails and returns a "Cannot Find" message. The return code from this function is passed back as a failure, to the prior function which still knows the path. This prior function then issues the "Cannot Open" message, including the full path.
Is is totally impractical for us to rewrite and re-issue the programs in any other format, or stop thousands of independent customers from upgrading to Reader 9.3.4
I hope Adobe can fix this issue VERY quickly.
