Hyperlink in ITS

Hi,
As of now we have a button "Show Order" which shows the details for the material that you select(radio button).
Now i want to delete the radio button and also the button(Show Order) and provide a hyperlink to the material which does the same functionality as the "Show Order" button.
Could anyone guide me on how to create hyperlinks??

could you please be a bit more specific on what technique on the ITS you are using. There are a number
of different poibilities out there
IAC with Templates on Plain HTML
IAC with Templates on HTMLBusiness
IAC without Templates
Flow Logic with Templates on Plain or on HTMLBusiness
WebGui External ITS Integrated ITS.
If you are using any type of templates this might be of help to you

or you want to download the SAP@Web Studio found on the service marketplace

Anyway if you are developing your own application
I would highly recomend not to use ITS any more as
it is old technique. I would suggest to look into ether BSP development or Webdynpro.

say in page test1 there are 2 hyperlink "come" and "go"

Hyperlink on ITS Screen

Need some guide here. I've just did some modification on the HTML template for one of the ESS services. I've actually copied one of the template and did some modification to it. My Question is, how do i point to that new template from another one? Example:- from HTML template A, i would like to make a hyperlink that calls my new HTML template B. Please Advise.

Thanks for that!!..at least i'll know what to do now..the funny bit is that when i create teh hyperlink to the new template, something else came out. For testing purposes, i tried to copy the following ESS iview templates SAPLHRBEN00ENROLLMENT_HOL_701
SAPLHRBEN00ENROLLMENT701CORE_HOL
SAPLHRBEN00ENROLLMENT701CORE_ACC_HOL
Unfortuantely, when i tried to call the new customized one, a different type of screen came out. Any ideas?

How to remove the automatically recognized hyperlinks in PDF after converting from Word?

Hi everyone!
When converting Word to PDF, texts with "http", "www", or email addresses with "@" are automatically hyperlinked.
The way Adobe Acrobat recognizes URLs is not by the text's underlying hyperlinks rather it is by the actual characters in the text. If the text contains "http" or "www" it recognizes it as a URL address, if it contains "@", it recognizes it as an email address.
I am aware that you could choose to disable the hyperlinks by going to Edit - Preferences - General - untick Create links from URLs. However, other users who have this ticked will still be able to click on the hyperlinks.
In Word, you can specify whether to add a hyperlink or not, or to direct the hyperlink to a different path. But in Adobe Acrobat, it automatically recognizes the hyperlink by its text. I know it is possible to manually add a hyperlink to a PDF, but is it possible to remove the automatically recognized hyperlinks?
Is there also some sort of ADM administrative template for this purpose?

I was thinking it could be possible with a document-level script that
removes all links, but then I saw that the link Acrobat adds are not real
link objects, so a script can't remove them. Therefore I think the answer is
no, you can't do it. The only way might be to use shorter addresses in order
to confuse Acrobat into thinking they're just plain text. For example, use "
google.com" instead of "http://www.google.com/". In my tests it remained as
plain text.

How do I get Hyperlink to work both backwards and forwards in a list?

I have created a short outline of my web pages in a column on the left side of each page. Each topic with a page has a bullet. I want users to be able to click on the topic and go to that page. I have made each topic a text hyperlink to its own page, but the hyperlinks only work in outline order. It is not possible to click on a topic in random order and have the hyperlink work. For instance, if I am at topic D and want to return to topic C, I need to run thru the entire outline to go home and then work my way from home back to C. Is there anything I can do to be able to activate each hyperlink in random order just as the navigation bar does?

I made a very simple hyperlink but its is not working. I am trying to get it work from last 2-3 days but not sure what is wrong.

Are you using the BusinessObjects Enterprise Java SDK to do this?

InDesign CS5 - Hyperlink Trouble

This should be the easiest thing to do but I am having a great deal of trouble accomplishing my goal. I have a map of the United States with prevelance numbers overlaid as text boxes on each state. (i.e. Tennessee has a text box centered on the state with 12pt '66.5') I am trying to create hyperlinks for each state that work on an exported pdf. The goal is for the numbers on each state to link to that state's health department. Does anyone have tips on the best way to accomplish this? I have attempted working with text anchor, new hyperlink, new hyperlink destination, but am doing some thing wrong. When I export the pdf, I can roll over a text box and the cursor turns into a finger pointing, but the link does not work.

Convert URL to Hyperlinks in Indesign

Hyperlinks in 2-3 lines are clickable when exported to PDF
I have many URL in the PDF, but the problem is the URL's that are in 1 line are clickable.
The URLs that runs to 2-3 lines are not clickable. One the 1st line of the same URL is clickable.
For example:
https://developer.atlassian.com/display/DOCS/Set+Up+the+Eclipse+IDE+for+Linux
On the page layout the same URL comes in 2 lines. Only the URL till https://developer.atlassian.com/display/DOCS/Set+Up is clickable, but the following URL is not clicable in PDF.
Please assist me with this.

I have found a Script from http://kasyan.ho.com.ua/make_hyperlinks_from_urls.html.
But there is a little problem.
When I run this script its converting the URL to Hyperlink, but its changing the original URL text present in the Indesign file.
Can this script search for a specific URL character style and convert it to Hyperlink by retaining the Original text in Indesign.
For Example:
The Original URL in Indesign file is this:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Connecting+JIRA+to+a+Database
When I run the script its changed to:
confluence.atlassian.com
Please help me.

Type Column for Email is not coming in Business context

Hi All,
I have enhanced the component ICCMP_BT_BCXT.
I am able to get the required values in business context.
I get hyperlinks in the TYPE column for customer follow-up/interaction record.
But when email is sent then TYPE column does not show the hyperlink as Email.
Other details like key/description are occuring for email.
Any pointers on how to get the hyperlink for Email.

by default when you get the hyperlink for interations record/followup document, its logical because on click on this hyperlink, system takes you to the interaction record/Followup document that is linked.
If you set it to email, and if we provide hyperlink to it, where should it navigate on click of the hyperlink ?
Its very easy to provide the hyperlink however it is very important to know what is required on click of the hyperlink, to give the right design .

1) i want open it in the diffrent window.
2) suppose if u have a report called emp it should call antoher 2 report at a time.
( how to put 2 URL in the hyperlink?).

What is the Dashboard? Is it something that works only thru Business Catalyst?
<rant> Why can't Adobe write a proper manual? And why can't Adobe give hyperlinks to its own help centres and to this forum? It took me five minutes to find this place? Every time I want to learn something I have to spend five minutes trying to remember how to get to the forum to ask it. Then I forget what I was going to ask. Most times when I want to know something about an Adobe program, I just Google it. There are all kinds of helpful people on the 'net who kindly explain all kinds of things about Adobe programs that Adobe can't seem to explain for itself. Doesn't give me much faith in Adobe's ability to write programs. None, in fact. I hate Adobe. Especially Illustrator, but everything else. I wish there were alternatives to Adobe but there aren't. So I'm just going to have express my frustration to users of this group. Sorry about that. I know I should just grow up, but I can't help myself. Anybody want to start an I hate Adobe support group? </rant>

Not sure what your Muse question is but like all Adobe products they have a link to help documents and to the forums right in the help menu in the program itself. Not sure how much easier they can make it?

[SOLVED] Encoded URL's are Re-Encoded When Clicked

Some of our users here are copying URL's of relevant files [from one of our sites] and pasting them into Excel.
As the need arises, they refer back to the Excel document and click the link to retrieve the document.
When clicked the already-encoded URL's:
https://sub.domain/some/path/to/files/My%20Super%20Long%20File%20Name-Thats%20Already%20Encoded.pdf
Are getting encoded a second time, which result in a URL like:
https://sub.domain/some/path/to/files/My%2520Super%2520Long%2520File%2520Name-Thats%2520Already%2520Encoded.pdf
This naturally won't work because its now literally looking for a file called "My%20Super%20Long%20File%20Name-Thats%20Already%20Encoded.pdf" which of course doesn't exist.
The URL's in Excel appear normal in the cells themselves.
The editing the actual hyperlink confirms its also correct there as well.
The URL's also look normal in the formula bar.
I've reproduced this behavior on multiple company machines: Windows 7 x64 Enterprise SP1 with Office ProPlus 2010 32-bit.
I was also able to reproduce this on vanilla Windows 7 VM's in Hyper-V using Office ProPlus 2010 and 2013. Although domain joined, they're in an OU with blocked inheritance enabled and no linked GPO's.
I can't figure out where the problem is: Excel, Windows, IIS or something else?

I’ve done a test for this situation, but the url won’t change after reopening the file.
1. A pdf file in SharePoint, and the file name contains some spaces which is the same with customers.
2. Input the SharePoint URL into Excel, and each spaces has been replaced by %20
3. Then, I can open the file in IE
4. After I closed the website and excel file, I could open it in IE again and the URL didn’t change.
As you mentioned in the ticket “Are getting encoded a second time, which result in a URL like”, may I know if the re-encoding was done automatically or manually? Based on the test result, it won’t encode a second automatically.
If it is done manually, the issue should be most likely caused by the space character being encoded twice, because the space character is encoded as %20 as our two url show. However, based on your second url, it turned into %2520, Since the % character
is encoded as %25, it should be a result of a double encoded. Actually, URLs need their characters to be in a specific format, ASCII characters, so that browsers can correctly interpret and parse the data. For every ASCII character in URLs, it will be encoded
a string starting with %, and % is also an ASCII character in URLs and encoded to %25. If we double encode a URL, which results that every ASCII character in the URL will be encoded a string starting with %25, and that the URL becomes invalid. Therefore, I
suggest you name the file using
alpha-numeric
characters
only or do not encode it twice.
If it is done automatically, since you have reproduced the issue on multiple machines, could you please help check the following Excel settings in several machines to make comparisons with each other.
Excel Option>Advanced, Scroll to the General section and click Web Options, select Encoding
If it possible, would you mind sharing a test file with me to do a test from my end?

Resizable, draggable, snap-to-each-other panels

Hello!
I seem to remember a sample file available for Flex that
consisted of a button to add panels to the stage. Once a panel was
on the stage, you could resize it, drag it around, or snap it to
the panels already on the stage.
I thought I linked to this file from the Features section on
the DevNet home page. I can't seem to find the download or a
reference to old feature articles...
Does anyone remember this sample or have a hyperlink to its

I know this may not be the most convenient, but when you're zoomed in a bit, clips will snap to each other. Clips will also snap to markers so if you highlite a clip and choose "mark > add time markers from selection" markers will be added to the front and end of a clip enabling you to snap to them.

CSS with page fragments does not seem to work

I am using creator 2 update 1 and I have some problems setting styleClass to a page fragment, I read some older posts about this issue but I couldn't find a solution for this.
I have a navigation fragment that holds simple hyperlinks inside.
I want to give all the hyperlinks the same background-image so I create a new entry in the default resources/stylesheet.css of my project and try to set it to each hyperlink in its styleless entry in its properties.
1. first you can't choose a styleClass for the fragment when clicking on (...) - it does not show any style class
2. when I just set it by hand to the property , the creator does not have an effect on the hyperlinks (their style is not changed) , if I put for each hyperlink in its "Inline" style (property style) all the values that defined in the styleClass I want to use then the results are fine but this mean I need to take care of the style for each hyperlink alone and not use the styleClass ...
Any ideas?

OK, I found what the problem was: the URL to the background-image was wrong, only when I picked the image through the css editor it got the correct URL to the image and displayed it in all the hyperlinks
