  • My hyperlink is not working in the site I just published in Muse

My hyperlink just works on the computer where I published my site from a Macbook  Pro 10.6.8  IOS, in Firefox 19.0, please help!  I have imported it into Dream Weaver CS6, but still canno pinpoint the problem, it looks and behaves the same.  The site page that I published is http://www.shamarihairsalon.com/contactappointments.html.  When clients click on make an appointment at Flakes Mill Location the link expires

    Vinayak,
Thanks for your response as you were the only one to respond,   however this site was redone in Muse, and worked in the previous site (which was not created in Muse) whether the user login or not.  The only one who has sign-in capability is the owner of the account the, hence the salon owner.  Her clients had been using the site before to make appointments...the link recently stopped working after it was published.  Is their anyway around this? such as altering the way Muse create hyperlinks?  Could an anchor be used instead,? How would that work? Just grasping for straws and want eliminate possibilities.
    Thanks,
    Laquacer

The link https://appointment.bizlinkms.com/?page=appt is to an external site that probably requires a login first in order to access it (and hence the session error). You are able to access that page from a particular machine as you are most likely logged into that site already and hence the cookie exists in your browser that is maintaining the session.
On a quick look, the site's login page appears to be https://system.bizlinkms.com/
Nothing to do with Muse though.
    Thanks,
    Vinayak

  • My Hyperlinks are not working

When I insert a hyperlink in iWeb it functionates perfectly in iWeb.
But when I publish it (Local folder) and than visit it via my browser, some links are not working.
Maybe good to know; the links are only between my own pages. And the site is not really online yet, just in a Local Folder...
Only one of the links is not working, because when I click on another link, I get this:
    file:///Users/timothydeleeuw/AsiaHolland/Websites/vd%20Watering/Watering_Fr/Bien venue.html
But on the not functioning link, I get this:
    http://Watering_NL/Welkom.html
    In the adressbar off course.
    Thank you for your help!

My site is not online yet, that's why the link doesn't work, I saved it Locally.
I wanted to point out the differnce between the first and second link. In the first link it goes to a folder of my mac, and the second one is trying to get to a site that doesn't exsist. But in iWeb, I did exactly the same...
    Some weird stuff going on...
thanks any way for your reply.

  • All hyperlinks are not working when published

All of the links work on iweb 09; however, when published some of the links are not working. To get an idea of what I mean you can go to the site, thinkwhatif.org and see it. Would someone be able to provide an answer how to solve it? I have unlinked and relinked too and that didn't work (at least the one time I did it).
Thanks in advance for helping me figure it out.
    I am learning..

    Bonjour,
It's a layout issue. Two of your buttons (who or what) are in the navigation part of your page (nav_layer), which is back layer of your page. In your page, the content (body_layer) overlays the bottom of this layer (nav_layer) where the buttons are.
Show layout (iWeb > View > Show layout) and replace the buttons in the content. As you can see , you 've got also a empty textbox in the content

  • I'm using Windows XP. outlook Express hyperlinks are not working. Might Firefox be blocking the hyperlinks?

I've tried the "FIX IT" on the Microsoft website but it did not fix it. I've been in touch with my anti virus software company who assure me that their product cannot block hyperlinks. I've gone into windows folder options/ file types to check settings but they seem OK. I'm now wondering if a seting in Firefox could block the hyperlinks.

    Hi,
Many thanks to those who took the time to reply. I use Firefox as my default browser to search the internet. I use Outlook Express to download my emails. Some emails have hyperlinks. When I place the cursor over a hyperlink a (very long) web address appears at the bottom of the window but clicking on the link does nothing. I have searched the internet for possible solutions. One was that the problem was caused by my anti virus software blocking the hyperlink. My anti virus software provider excluded this. Another related to a possible problem in windows XP control panel/folder options/file types. I checked this and all was OK. A website suggested that my browser may be causing the problem. Firefox itself is my default browser and is working OK. My question is "can a setting (or something else) in Firefox block the hyperlinks in Outlook Express from working''. The problem occurs in Outlook Express but the hyperlinks have to work via Firefox to open the links which are web pages (accessed via Firefox)..

  • Some hyperlinks are not working e.g. #page-item and a name="#page-item" how can I resolve that

It's a toplink to a page item on the same page internal (hyperlink) that is not working.
E.g. toplink e.g. #ssc01 to the internal pagelink
    <a name="#ssc01"><b>Algemene Informatie</b></a>

Don't add the hash (#) to the name attribute. The hash is used in the URL as separator and should not be in the name.
    <pre><nowiki><a name="ssc01">Algemene Informatie</a> </nowiki></pre>

  • Hyperlinks are not working when I convert MS PPT with notes to PDF

I am using MS Powerpoint 2010 and have some hyperlinks throughout the presentation.
When I Save as "PDF" and select the options "Notes pages" and open up the PDF, I see the slide and then the notes on the bottom of the page but the hyperlinks within the slide don't work.
I am using Adobe Reader 10.1.4

Do the links work if you save the actual PPT? In my version of PPT and Acrobat, there is no option to select notes in the Save As PDF item. However, the Save As PDF or XPS does provide the notes as an option. However, this latter approach is the MS conversion and not the Acrobat version. I suspect that MS decided there was no need to embed the links for Notes.
If you have the Acrobat option, then it will appear as just PDF in the Save As menu and you would also have an Acrobat menu in PPT that has a create PDF button. I am not on my AA XI machine and cannot check, but I don't think that Acrobat provides the notes out put unless you print to the Adobe PDF printer. In the print case you would not get the links. So check just how you are creating the PDF and be sure whether you are using the MS option or the Acrobat option.

  • Hyperlinks are not working properly since iOS 8.0.2

I have an iPad Air.  Has anyone else noticed that when you click on a link, you now have to press and hold the link to open in other tab, otherwise the link doesn't go anywhere?

    (A) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    (B) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

  • My buttons with hyperlinks are not browser compatible

Hi, I've created an InDesign document that has simple buttons with hyperlinks and rollover stage. I have saved the document as an interactive pdf and uploaded to the site, when checking for browser compatibility, the hyperlinks are not working on Firefox 19.0.
Does any one know how to fix this problem?
Here is a link for reference:

I just found the answer in the following thread
    Hyperlink reuse
go to the New Hyperlink button at the
bottom of the panel or to the submenu in Hyperlinks, I can go to Shared
    Destination and...it DOES work. Thanks.
Follow-up question: do I need to make all of the hyperlinks I create with
Shared Destination or only those that will more than likely reappear in the
    document?

  • Scrolling effects in Muse are not working properly with the Chrome browser at the moment.

My scrolling effects in Muse are not working properly in the Chrome browser .I disabled any third party widgets to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. Safari and firefox presented my site perfectly but when it was opened in chrome the menu navigation bar will not stop moving uncontrollably jittering when the page is scrolled. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? My site is danieltoruno01.businesscatalyst.com

We are using Vertical spry menu bar features provided with Dreamweaver CS3.
    You are using Spry 1.4.
The latest  version of the Adobe Spry Framework is 1.6.1, this is the same version  that ships with Dreamweaver CS4.
When using Dreamweaver CS3 (uses Spry  1.4), it's wise to upgrade your files to the latest version. This can  easily be done using the Spry Updater that can be found here.
If after that you still have problems, please come back here.

  • On certain sites (like chats), the shift symbols are not working correctly.

On certain sites (like chats), the shift symbols are not working correctly, but shift+letters works fine. I've tried changing the set keyboard language, as well as the character encoding, but nothing works. I don't have this problem in IE.

    Hello there.
Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at [http://www.getfirefox.com getfirefox.com].
As for your issue, I'm not sure if this is the case, but there is a little know keyboard shortcut to change the keyboard language on Windows. And it's very annoying, since it's easily triggered. I don't know exactly which one it is, but I think it's CTRL+SHIFT, the ones on the right. I suggest you ask Microsoft for support on this one. Firefox doesn't control keyboard languages.
