Hyperlinks are showing up white

Hyperlinks are showing up white on my browser (in both chrome and safari). They are appearing clear if there is a white background behind them so it is becomming really annoying to have to highlight the page to read what the hyperlinks say. I bought this laptop today so it shouldn't be a problem with me changing the settings, but something is definitely wrong. It is happening on multiple websites. Can anyone help me?

My pictures i backed up are showing up white.

I REALLY need help with this.. i got an iPhone 5s and i had an iPhone 4 before that.. and i have been trying to back up my photos from the iPhone 4 but only some of them came through.. i had Verizon in Mentor, OH switch everything and back up my phone.. and when i got a chance to look at my photos they came up as white.. i clicked on them and it just constantly says (searching..) but is never found? i have asked a lot of people with iPhones and they have never had this problem.. I'm not sure if its common or not.. I JUST WANT IT FIXED! i should not be scared out of my mind having pictures on my iPhone.. i always upload them to my computer and then i delete them on my phone now because i can't trust the system.. the pictures don't show up at all on my computer either.. i just don't know what to do! i backed everything up on my iCloud and then my computer reset my phone and that still didn't work.. please help!

Yes. Restoring a backup puts the phone in exactly the same state it was in when the backup was made.

Have the latest drivers. Running photoshop CC with intous 5 tablet and the latest driver.
Run photoshop CS6 at work same tablet and no problems.

I have restored my new replacement iPhone 5s from my latest iCloud back up. However my camera roll pictures are not displaying. Its not saying i don't have any pictures, it just shows empty white squares? How do I get my pictures back? Thanks!

It's difficult to say whether it's stuck or not as the time to restore a backup can depend on many factors. You'll have to decide when you think it's just not continuing. You could try turning the phone off (hold the power button until you see the red off slider, then slide to turn off), then back on to see if that would get it going again.
When you're convinced it's just hung, you can go back to settings and tap Stop Restoring iPhone to stop the restore. You'll then have to try restoring it again (Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup). Be sure it's connected to your charger and wifi while it's restoring the backup.
You might also try the approach posted here by ezjules: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This seems to have worked for some people who had trouble restoring their photos from an iCloud backup.

New iPhone 5s and most of my pics in photo albbum show up white, but thumbnails are there

I just upgraded to the iPhone 5s and after I restored to icloud and went into my pictures, I noticed that most of my pics that would have came from icloud are all showing up white (blank). When I click on the white pic, it says "downloading" but nothing ever happens. I have turned phone on and off, re-backed up from icloud. But sometimes when I start icloud it says "Verification.....". I am not techy and I would have thought that with having icloud this all would just automatically transfer over. Please help.....I want my old pics to show up

If you restored the backup from iCloud, it will automatically re-download all your apps for you on its own.
If you restored the backup from iTunes, you have to manually download all the apps back from the AppStore.
Never heard of such issue with iCloud before but you can sign out of all iCloud account starting with,
Settings>iCloud
Settings>Messages>iMessage
Settings>Facetime
Settings>iTunes & AppStore
Settings>Game Center
Turn off home sharing on your phone if its on. Then sign in back to each one of them with your apple account.

After 7 months white spots are showing

First I'd like to start by saying, i wear glasses, and I had to use magnifying glass as well to read the serial number. Second, it appears you cannot submit service tickets? 3rd this screen is ridiculously blue. I had to use a colorimeter to correct it as much as possible with a dynamic brightness that can't be disabled..
I bought my Father this laptop and he only uses it for email/web and watching soccer. The laptop always stays in the same place, and it is in immaculate condition. After 7 months there appears to be white spots which appear to be much more noticable with the dynamic brightness at full and only on certain colors, for example white.
There are only 2 white spots and I'm not sure if they are growing yet, but I assume he will have more in the future. Do they know what causes this? How is this fixed?

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with white spots on your laptop screen.
Please try to connect the external monitor and check for the issue, try to boot the system into BIOS and check for the issue. Also check in different application.
Also try to boot the system to safe mode and check for the issue, if still the issue persists then please try to update the display driver and check for the issue.

I can login with the these AD users and AD direct import is working just fine. We are not using UPS.
With admin user when I click on the user it shows up proper data. But when I login with the same user it does not show me userdisplay/useredit and shows blank data. Also another strange thing is when I add new item in list with these AD users created by
modified by is blank and its really strange. I checked user information list, tried to rerun user sync with direct AD import option but no success.

According to your description, my understanding is that the page is blank when the use accessed /_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx and the created by field was blank when the user created a new list item in SharePoint 2013.
I tested the same scenario per your post, however I cannot reproduce your issue.
For troubleshooting this issue, I recommend to verify the things below:
Check the permission of the user in the corresponding site collection to see if he can access /_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx.
Delete the user from AD and SharePoint, then re-add the user to AD and grant proper permission to the user in SharePoint to see if the issue still occurs.
Did this issue occur with all the users? Add a new user in AD and test the same scenario.

I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

Two clips that are overlaid creates white line when rendered

In Final Cut Pro 7, I have copied a clip on top of itself in the timeline.
- The clip on top was then moved to the right so that the clip below would be seen slightly ( I needed a way to scoot the subject over while preserving the background on the left side. It is a black and white image over a flush gray background).
- When the clips are renderd, a white vertical line appears between the two clips
- The white line remains when exporting, and remains when it is uploaded to vimeo
- I need it to be gone! It is not there before rendering the timeline, but appears afterward!!!

What happens if you crop the right image a bit more? Does the line show up?

Drop shadows show as white boxes

Please can anyone tell me why (most of) the drop shadows on my site are showing as a fine white line around the image? This is only happening on images - not text. Can I fix it somehow? Baby-talk replied here as I am new to this. You can see the problem at www.bothepoodle.co.uk

As a test, I put your "Bo the Poodle" on a web page with just a shadow:

Pictures Showing as White Boxes

I upgraded from an iPhone 5c to an iPhone 6. On December 22nd when I restored my phone from my iCloud backup all of my photos showed up as white boxes. Since then some have shown up but most of them are still showing up as white boxes. It says downloading below my albums. When I click on the photos that show as white boxes it says "loading" but then goes right back to being blank. It has been like this for over a week & it is starting to become extremely annoying. Some of my most important photos are showing up as white. Any ideas or solutions? Someone please help!

Wait until the restore from backup finishes, connect to wifi and plug it to a wall outlet and let it finish.

Amend bleed area to as white not transparent

I have just switched over to creative cloud for Indesign from CS5.5. The bleed area shows as transparent rather than the usual white as in CS5.5. Can anyone tell me how to change the setting so this area is white not transparent please?

Importing video frames to layers show a white screen?

I've been trying to make some GIFs but when I try to import the video frames to layers it shows a white screen instead of playing the movie. All of them work on windows media player but I've heard that a lot of it has to work on QuickTime. I've already updated the program but it still won't work. A friend of mine also told me that it might be the format of the video. Is there anything I could do to fix this?

I had to reread your post a few times, so I hope I understood correctly. LOL.
When you import a video say a mov or avi file and it does not display correctly, odds are that video is using a codec that is not supported by photoshop or quicktime.
There is a very limited amount of codec for avi's that will work. If your computer is fast enough, use the full frame/no compression option when saving the video. This option even though it is a larger file and can bog down your computer, it will work when all else fails.
Another option is to save the video as an image sequence. Either option also can support transparency. Keeping in mind some image formats like jpg do not support transparency even though that would reduce file size.
As for other codec's take a look at the list in the options photoshop's export for video{File>Export>Render Video}, and compare them to those in your video editor.

If you look at page in IE8, I think you will see your navigation links without the white block. I just looked at your page again and I am still seeing the navigation ID. You try detaching your template from the page. I think DW templates are a bad idea; they cause all kinds of problems.
If my link works and yours doesn't, compare the code.
