Hyperlinks in e-mails do not work

Example when I get e-mail in Outlook with a link to verfiy a new website registration click the link does nothing. I have not changed anything in Outlook. Only recent changes was the Firefox sharing AddOn

you want a sound file to play?
drag the sound file from the finder ino the Keynote page you want the file to play from and it will automatically play when the slideshow is played.
media files that Keynote will accept are:
MOV
mp3
mp4
AIFF
AAC
MPEG-4
As to why the show stopped, this is usually because the hyperlink is set to slide,
and not Keynote File as shown here:

Hi,
We have a requirement to open an outlook mail on click of a link on webdynpro screen and also inlcude a hyperlink in the body of the mail.
I created a LinkToURL and assinged the following to the 'reference' property :-
mailto:?body=http://<xyz>:80/DSARCLNK_AP10D/CONTENTSERVER.ASP?get&pVersion=0045&contRep=D1&docId=AP10D_332
Outlook opens properly, but the complete link is not appearing in the body of the e-mail.
it shows just the following :-
http://<xyz>:80/DSARCLNK_AP10D/CONTENTSERVER.ASP?get
so what's happening is it breaks when it finds '&'.
Can some one help me in resolving this issue?

1 . We updated OS to mavericks few machine in last december and still does't works SMTP (Out going mail) on those MAC.
2. After that most recently we updated OS to mavericks few machine those are working will with SMTP server .
a)Not showing any SMTP connection in TCP trace ,
b) Connection docter every time Says "Connecting to the server "
3, Then we have installed thunderberd (another mail) client on maverick os, which OS related to apple mail client not woking . It seems other mail client is working well with SMTP server .

Safari and mail does not work

Safari and mail is not working on my new iPad with iOS 5.1.1, tried every trick in the book but to no avail. Please suggest in case I want to update my ios5.1.1 as I fear that it might have corrupted somehow, what's the way to do it. I don't want to upgrade to higher iOS versions. Thanks

Close Safari and Mail app on the Task Bar and re-launch.
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar
2. Hold Safari and Mail app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen

Mail is not working. The app opens because I see a light on under "Mail" in the dock.

It is like it is running in the background, but I can't see it. Everthing is subdued when I click on the choices up in the menu. I have tried "Force Quit" and then re-opening the mail app several times, and have rebooted my notebook twice. What is weird is that this started right after I changed my password in a browser (it is a gmail account). I went into the System Preferences on my MacBook and changed my password there as well, so it should be setup properly to open. I am running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5. Any help anyone can provide is much appreciated.

Mail search not working + Spotlight keeps indexing

I have an old problem that has resurfaced after creating a new user on my Mac. Mail search brings no results and Spotlight is constantly indexing - day in, day out. It never seems to get there. I tried turning my hard drive to private in Spotlight settings and then taking it out. Previously Spotlight seemed to get bogged down with external drives now it's stuck indexing my Mac.
Any advice? Is there a way I get unstick this?

I can't believe that Apple have STILL not sorted this out. I haven't created a new user (so it's nothing to do with that), but Mail.app won't find anything when searching "Entire Message" in the current Mailbox or in "All Mailboxes". This has been ongoing since Leopard was first released, and we are now up to 10.5.8 without this being fixed.

Without you telling use the email provider and type of account we can't really help you.

Can you send e-mail at all from the ssm 4.0 ? Are there any mail hanging in scott ? Are the MTE's reporting at all? May be a stupid one but you say

I, too, am having a problem with my Yahoo email account on my first generation IPad. I can't download my emails to my IPad from the server. The IPad looks like it's trying to download them but can't do it. I am able to send emails from my IPad with my Yahoo account.
This problem started yesterday, Aug., 25th, the day after I uploaded the last update from Apple. I am able to set up another email account through Sbcglobal that will download my emails to my IPad but it is not sync'ed with my desktop mail which creates a mess when I move or delete emails.
I've tried deleting my Yahoo account and then adding it back. Also I've reset my IPad and I've done a full restore.
I think it has something to do with the last update, which I believe was a security update, which may have reset the firewall. That's just a guess.
Has anyone figures out anything else?

I most often do not restart my new MBPro .... 10.9.5 ..... but happened to a day or so ago, and it immediately began to block / problem with email .... I waited to see if it sorted out, but no .....
I get he server “p06-imap.mail.me.com” cannot be contacted on port 993 ..... then deselected SSL and that did not help, so went back and selected it again .... and again not working .....
I can see my stuff "online" but I do not want to do it that way EVER .....
your "deselect mail" in ICloud preferences .... did nothing good for me .... any other thoughts Linc ?? in fact, some hundreds of in and sent emails did not show up .... I'm hoping they are going to when this gets fixed .... but hey, ..... right now I'm NOT in business ....

Upgraded to OS X 10.5.6 - Now Mail is not working.

I recently upgraded to OS X 10.5.6. Everythingwent just fine, but Mail is not working. None of my old messages show up, nor am I able to send or receive mail. My old folders are displayed, but no messages are in there either.
I use a POP account. I verified the settings with the service provider website and all of it is by the book. These same settings were used with the old version of Mail with no problems, but its just nor working anymore!

sorry, I can not explain that. usually this would indicate that something is wrong with your account settings. you may want to try the following. copy your rogers inbox and sent mail to local mailboxes in "on my mac" section (make new mailboxes there). then delete rogers account and set it up from scratch. see if it works.

The search function in Apple mail is not working. When I type in something to search by, the results are not showing up.
I've clicked on "All" on the search requirements to include all of my mailboxes.
I've also tried rebuilding the mailboxes with no results.

Does anyone know why a hyperlink that contains backslash is not working in Acrobat reader 8 and 9?
I created a document in Indesign CS and it contains hyperlinks that open up files from network drive so they contain backslash (for example: c:\foder\forder\filename.jpg). All the hyperlinks work in Acrobat Reader 6 but not in Acrobat Reader 8 or 9.
Anybody could share the solution would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out? I am also having problems with the "No Hand" javascript which turns off the (not very helpful) page-forward hand icon (a hand symbol with a down arrow) which confuses our users when in fullscreen mode. We create interactive PDFs and everything worked fine up to Acrobat X/Reader X. Now in XI it doesn't allow the internal link icon (pointing finger) nor weblink icon (pointing finger with W) to appear. It just remains a plain o’ hand icon no matter what you mouse over even though there are links present.
