Links no longer work in Outlook since FF update

This morning (10/22/10) FF was updated - now at 3.6.11. Previous to this I could click on a link in an Outlook email and be taken to the page in FF. Now it just pulls up a window with programs listed and doesn't go to FF.
I verified that FF is still my default browser.

My Windows XP and Windows 7 iTunes no longer 'see' my AppleTV since latest update (25/02/2013). Also, my AppleTV tells me I must turn on Home Sharing which is already turned on.

I have the little arrow that normally selects my AppleTV in iTunes but AppleTV is no longer listed (only My Computer). Is there an issue with the latest update. This is probably my fault by telling everyone how good AppleTV is and that it just works! Doesn't work any more :-( I have tried all the usual restarting of AppleTV and PCs. I'm having to revert back to the Samsung Blu-ray player's PC sharing :-(

My iMessage and some of my applications no longer work with the new software update. How do I fix this?

I called Apple Support after trying many fixes suggested online. They directed me to the procedure on the following page:

I did the erase and restore option they suggested since I had tried a pile of ther things suggested on posts and blogs and they did not work. I even waited the obligatory 24 hours, thus the restore from backup option was what they suggested. I have a 64gig iPhone 4S and it took about 1.5 hours to complete the entire operation seeing that I am using about 54 gigs of that capacity.
Warning: I lost all of my emails and all of the data files from one of my map programs so be sure you have everything that you really need from your phone store elsewhere before wiping your phone. I thought that the backup on my computer would restore everything but obviously NOT.

Source and Program Monitor not working after October CC 2014 Update

I updated to the October 2014 Replace of Premiere Pro and since then I have had major issues with the Source and Program monitors.
I can select a clip from the media browser and have it appear in the source monitor - click play. The clip will play for a bit and the picture will stop, but the audio will keep going. After a few seconds the source monitor will just display a red screen and the audio will keep going. The same things happens in the program monitor (different clips that worked before the October 2014 update) will start displaying the yellow media pending screen - and then go to red after a few seconds. Again - this is a mutli-camera sequence that worked before the October 2014 update.
I am pretty much dead in the water at this point. And yes, I have rebooted, changed the Mercury play back engine from hardware to software. Nothing seems to correct the issue.

I have had similar problems. In fact playback is so sluggish it is unworkable.
In addition Audio in nested sequences doesn't play back, and when it does it is intermittent. Totally unworkable!

Epson printer driver no longer working after 10.4.11 update

It seems that my original Epson driver for my Stylus Photo 750 is no longer working after my latest Tiger update. The system does recognise it but shows an exclamation mark behind it and refuses to print with it (the document stays in the waiting line forever). Reinstalling as well as repairing permissions didn´t help. Fortunately the Gimp Epson driver is still working but I have no access to my coloursync profiles with this driver.
I know that many printer drivers need to be rewritten for Leopard (one of the reasons I didn´t update yet) but it is not understandable why problems happen with a Tiger update.
Does anyone know a workaround?

I just discovered a similar problem. I have an old Epson SC3000 and under 10.4.11 my computer doesn't communicate with the printer. It's an AppleTalk printer, connected via Ethernet. I tried bypassing my network switch and connected it directly to the Mac-- no go. I then rebooted into 10.3.9 and printing works fine.
I downloaded the driver from Epson and installed it in 10.4.11. When I try to add the printer in the Printer Setup Utility, the machine just hangs-- can't force quit the utility and eventually the Finder even stops responding. It takes a hard reboot to clear up.
I can't say whether or not printing worked in earlier versions of 10.4. I haven't been using 10.4 for very long, and I rarely use the SC3000.

The 30-pin connector on the iPhone 4 dock might not have all the connector pins to do video.
I'm 99% sure the Universal Dock does have the pins (and therefor supports video out).

It came to my attention there a new program working with itune since last update named Apsdaemon.exe its been using 99% of my processor when its active any idea why so much and will it be fix eventually? And why is it so Heavy consuming ?

Now when that aplication or extention from Itune is working my computor froze to a huge alt. I play video games online and love listening to my music with itune playing in the background and normally was able to have firefox open and a program called ventrillo all working at the same time and now i can barelly have itune and play a game. As soon it start been choppy i just control alt delete wait 5 minute to close down apsdaemon.exe when i'm capable most of the time i have to restart my computor. And why is it so Heavy consuming on the process its memory utility is under the 100ko i believe so why 99% of my processus is been use ?
a good exemple i could give is itune.exe working it shows process 02% for 123 000ko that is light and perfect.

The nice thing about owning this overpriced POS is that Apple not only doesn't support it, but also doesn't want to hear about anything negative regarding it. To change the iCloud ID ("email") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

IPhone 3GS no longer works with bluetooth since ios 4.3.2 update

Hi all. Since the ios 4.3.2 update my iPhone 3GS no longer works correctly with the bluetooth in my car (2006 Acura TL). I know it's not an issue with the car and the only thing that has changed is the update with the phone. Anybody else having this issue? I have unpaired, tried to re-pair, reset the network settings, reset all of the settings, and did a restore. I'm at a loss with what to do next.

Its becoming a problem of epic proportions...so many people are having the exact same problem...I have a Feb 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Series 200 and since upgrading to OS 4 my USB function no longer works like it did before the upgrade.
My Apple has become a LEMON!!
Would be nice to hear that Apple recognises there is a problem...buut maybe they are too busy counting all their money to care!!

Hyperlinks no longer work after I view photos

I have created a website, and for the particular page I used the preset photo gallery option. I created a text hyperlink at the bottom of the page and it works as I want it to except after I click on any photo in the album. Once I click on the photo, I click on "Back to Album" and go to test the link. There is no colour change, no change of my cursor, or any other change that is supposed to happen regarding a hyperlink. The hyperlinks at the top of the page, linking to the other pages of the website, work without a hitch. Also, the hyperlink is a "Back to top" type of link, it links back to the same page. Any help is greatly appreciated!

As far as I can figure out, the syntax is correct. Moreover, this used to work with a problem before the upgrade.

HP Truevision HD web cam no longer working with Skype since windows 8.1 update

Hi guys,
A major annoying problem as occured since i updated to windows 8.1 my web cam no longer works in skype, it works for everything elese youcam etc just not skpye, audio is working fine too. When i go into settings the programmes freezes and eventually crashes, I can see my webcam listed in skype but thats it, the bottom half of the pane is missing too it cuts out in the middle of clear history, rolled back the driver and it works but messes everything else up. Please help i am ripping my hair out..... thank you

Skype does run on Windows 8.1, although you may need to update Skype to at least version 6.16.0.105

Hyperlinks no longer working in iBooks on iPad

I created an illustrated book in iBooks Author. I created hyperlinks to jump to different illustrations. I previewed the book on my iPad 3 and my iPad mini. They worked fine on the iPad 3, but intermittently on the mini. I upgraded all my software and now the hyperlinks do not work. (some will, but only once) I created a new file with the same results. (Some work, some don't) I exported the book as an .ibooks file and loaded it onto my iPads through iTunes, but the results are the same. I tested the hyperlinks in iBooks author with no failures. Puzzled?

Thanks for your suggestion KT, but the problem was with the underlying image. I put hyperlinked text over an image, and then titled the image as an illustration. For some reason touching the iPad could not activate the hyperlinked text if it was over the titled image. When I removed the title, the hyperlink text worked again without fail.

Hyperlinks don't work in Preview

I created a PDF file from a PowerPoint presentation using Mac OS X. My PDF file has hyperlinks in it that work fine when viewed in Acrobat Reader. But I'm unable to get any of the hyperlinks to work when viewing the file with the built in program "Preview" that is part of the Mac OS X operating system.
There are plenty of PDF files on the Internet with hyperlinks that work in both Apple Preview and Acrobat Reader. But the PDF files I create using Mac OS X, don't seem to function properly in Preview.
Any suggestions?

If PDFTEX is used, any PDF(R) viewer can be used, but hyperlinks don’t work in viewers using Apple’s(R) PDF code (e.g. Preview, iTEXMac, TEXShop, Skim...), so you may want to have Adobe Reader(R) or Acrobat installed to test your hyperlinks.
