Hyperlinks not generating properly in Word help

Hi
I am trying to generate a Word doc - as I have done several time before without any significant problems - and my hyperlinks, after several successful runs at the document for formatting purposes, now no longer resolve as hyperlinks .
What was back to top, for example, now looks like { HYPERLINK ""\| "02_songs_window_htm_songwin_6362" }
This applies to all hyperlinks in the document. A chm compilation is perfectly OK, however.
It looks like I've broken something, but I have no idea what. This is the first time I've seen this. Can anyone help?

It sounds like you have changed a Word setting.
Take a look at "Show field codes instead of their values"

Did you download and install the Windows Support software? If you did, did you use the Boot Camp Control icon to set up the trackpad how you want it?

Many websites are not displayed properly, overlapping words etc., can I adjust the browser settings?

Lots of sites do not appear properly, ie words and characters overlap, pop ups not complete.

Reset the page zoom on websites that look wrong: "View > Zoom > Reset" (Ctrl + 0 (zero))

If you increased the minimum font size then try a lower setting (default is none) as a too high value can cause issues like you described.<br />
Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors: Advanced > Minimum Font Size<br />

- Working Space: None
- Match Legacy ... Gamma Adjustments checked ON
But it does not correct the colors in effects. And checking or unchecking Make Movie/Output Module Settings/Color Management/Profile/Preserve RGB does not make any difference.

Those parts of the video image that does not have color effects are just fine. In these parts the color is preserved when reimporting to FCP. However, those parts having color effects (except Levels, as decribed earlier) have altered color results. So, only the parts having effects affecting color are misinterpreted in the image area. The mismatch is of course seen in AE, before making the movie.
What I ment with "Color Management not working properly" is that (instead of "disabling" it) Color Management does not seem to be able to correct this "misinterpretation" or difference in effect handling between AE 6 and 10.
So, would you have any solution for this problem?

Hyperlinks not working properly in PDF, converted by Nuance PDF converter

I have encountered a problem with the pdf files which were converted by the Nuance PDF converter(v8.1).
When reviewing a pdf file in Adobe Reader X(v10.1.0) the hyperlinks are not working properly in the "fit to window width and enable scrolling" mode.
The second one, "fit one full page to window", is working without problems. In this mode all links can be used.
Attached is a screenshot about the two modes in Adobe Reader X.
This issue is just happening, if the file is converted by Nuance PDF converter.
Well, Nuance support was not helpful at all.

if I write down www.hp.com it's just fine.
i've uploaded documents..
one is created with nuance pdf converter and the other with MS Office Word "save as pdf" function.

JQuery Colorbox Plugin Not Working Properly in IE - HELP!

This is a convoluted issue and I will do my best to explain. I am setting cookies in a page that will show a lightbox on the first visit. It works great in FF, Chrome, etc. but does not in IE.
What happens in IE is the script for calling my lightbox (colorbox) fires but all I see is the AJAX Loader spinning and the content never loads. I figured out that the script was firing too soon. I was using $j(document).ready(function() I switched to: $j(window).load(function() and all seemed to be fine and it worked properly until I start from another page and come to the page mentioned above.
If I start on any other page and click a link I have the same issue! The cookie works properly and does not fire the box a second time.
In other words if I clear cookies and start at the page with an issue then no issue. BUT if I start from any other page (with cookies cleared) and go to the above page the colorbox does not load properly.
From what I can tell the $j(window).load(function()is not working correctly.
I receive no errors from IE. I am using IE 8 for testing and cannot test 9 as I am using Windows XP. The script is in the <head> of my document. (If I move the script into the <body> it completely breaks the page in IE)
I have read of issues of DOCTYPE not being correct or shortend and colorbox issues in IE. My DOCTYPE is as follow which should be correct:

If I move the script to call Colorbox outside of the Head section it completely breaks the gallery - any ideas as to why as that may help if I can place the code at the end vs the head.
I have posted this question over at Stack Overflow with no help at all and any assistance would be amazing!
One other note: I am using jAlbum on the page and I do not see any conflicts but could there be an issue? I cannot post that code here as it would exceed the post limit.

Bug: Previews not generated properly when Soft Proofing is enabled in LR5, LR5.2 RC

I am experiencing problems with previews in Lightroom 5.0 and Lightroom 5.2 RC.
I have noticed incorrect previews under the following circumstances when Soft Proofing is enabled:
1. When I make modifications (like cropping), the preview in the Navigator panel does not update until I uncheck (and recheck) the Soft Proofing option.
2. When I am paging through several images at 100% or greater, the view in the main window, while zoomed in correctly, does not provide the correct resolution (blurry) until I either uncheck (and recheck) the Soft Proofing option or zoom out and zoom back in.
I am using:
Lightroom 5.0 64-bit, Lightroom 5.2 RC 64-bit
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Canon CR2 RAW files
16GB RAM, plenty of local disk space
Note: I have not done extensive testing on this, but many of these files are stored on a network drive, so I don't know if there is some sort of bug in the optimized routines for network drives/folders.

I have the same problem as michaeln2 and adobe 1230931.
I use Lightroom 4.4.
When I am in the Develop screen and I turn on Soft Proofing, then about 20% of the time the image goes blank. If I go back to Library view and reenter Devleop, sometimes the image will show up, sometimes not. If I advance to other images, sometimes they'll show and sometimes not in the Soft Proofing mode. Sometimes rotating an image in Library mode and going back into Develop "wakes up" the Soft Proofing and sometimes not.
In other words, the soft proofing feature is, as michaeln2 says, functionally useless. I'm surprised that no fix has been posted on this thread. No point upgrading to Ver 5 either...as it seems to be buggy there as well. Help!

Web modules: return hyperlink not generated

Designer Version 10.1.2.0.2 (shipped with ODS10gR2):
When generating web modules, the preference "Build return hyperlinks (MODBRL)" doesn't show the expected behaviour. No return hyperlinks are generated at all. I didn't use web module generator with earlier releases, so, I don't know if it was different there.

This feature uses a cookie to save the return hyperlinks that are to be displayed on the subsequent screens. Unfortunately, many people disable cookies in their browsers for security reasons. That could be why you aren't seeing the return hyperlinks. The feature does in fact work, but not for everyone, which is why I started hand coding return hyperlinks in the user text instead. It is more work, but more reliable.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

Hyperlinks not converting properly

Hello, I have a Word document with embedded hyperlinks. For
example I'll have a "click here" and the click here will point to a
website. When I convert the file, the PDF has a small hand like it
knows it's a link. But the hand has a W (word logo). The link never
opens. I'm hoping I'm just missing a setting or something. Any help
is appreciated.

set by TS.
With Acrobat.com, your conversion *options* are slim. Infact
there aren't any options for the conversion, other than, would you
like to convert, yes or no :)
To help us work to make the conversion process better, would
you mind emailing us one of your Word docs with the links that
isn't converting properly, and maybe a converted PDF with the link
trouble in it as well to sharedoc[at]adobe.com ?
That way we can have a look at it, and while not offering a
solution, we will be able to improve our conversion accuracy, going
forward.
Your other options for Word-2-PDF conversion would be, since
you're wanting to use part of Acrobat.com.... to use more of
Acrobat.com in your workflow. Depending on what is inside the word
doc, you could see if Buzzword will be able to import your word
doc, and then display it, allow you to edit the imported file, and
then export to PDF (with links) directly from Buzzword
Or an option is to download the
Acrobat 9
30-day trial. Which will give you at least 30 free days of PDF
making functionality.
Hopefully this post will give you enough information to be
able to move forward!

Schedule lines are not generating properly in MD04

Hello All,
I have a issue in MD04, in which schedule line for Schedule agreement is not getting generated on the same day as sales order is created (09.05.2014). But Schedule line is getting created in different date. Because of which i am creating schedule lines manually at required dates.
Note: I have attached screen shot of MD04
Kindly help me to overcome this issue.

Please observe that there are rescheduling exception messages and rescheduling dates for your scheduling agreements. It generally happens when you have sales orders in the past and you don't allow "start in the past" for replenishment proposals generated by MRP.
Go to the customizing transaction OPPQ and change the customizing "start in the past". After that, run MRP again for your material and the schedule line dates should match the sales order. Please observe that firmed schedule lines wont't be changed.

Spry dataset is not working properly in IE8, Help me plz...

I am a new user of dreamweaver CS5. I have designed some pages which are using Spry Dataset. It is working perfect in Firefox and IE 7 but it was not working at all in IE 8. Ben asked me to paste the following into the <HEAD> section

and after doing that it was working properly. But today I tested my site again and I came to know that it is only showing the Master Table, when we click on any master Picture of Spry Dataset it is not showing the details.

Hi Suboohi,
I think the problem may be the pictures themselves. They do not seem to be loading quickly which gives the impression that they are not showing, especially when you have a slow connection.
You might look at optomising the pictures and preloading the images to allow your site to work properly.

i have uninstalled and installed many times, gone through how apple says to do the process, both manually and using the revo program, have done every step possible on the revo program more than once, and every time i install itunes it says ituneshelper was not properly installed, reinstalling may solve this problem, which it doesnt because i have tried that and tried rebooting my computer in between. ive been trying for like a week now to get itunes working and cant figure out how, HELP!

Equation not showing properly in word 2013

I have a problem with my MS Word 2013. It seems that when i want to use the equation, under the design ribbon at the equation tools, there's few options for the structures (eg: fractions, script etc.). If you can see there's drop down button for each of
the options. For instance if you click the fraction drop down, it will have a few kind of fraction to choose but in my case when i click the drop down button, nothing is shown. The slot for each type is there but it does not show the picture so it is hard
for me to use it. But when I use MS PowerPoint 2013, it seems to be working. It is really weird.
I tried a few things to solve this but nothing solve this problem for me. Here are a few things that I already tried:
Repair MS Office 2013 in the installation setup
Uninstall MS Office 2013 and re-install
Install Office Compatibility Pack
None of the above solve the problem. Can anybody help me solve this please? I have no idea what to do anymore.

If the Building Blocks template file that comes with Microsoft Word is corrupt, it may cause Equations to not work correctly. To resolve this problem, move the damaged copy of the Building Blocks template out of the user data folder. After you do this,
Word creates a new Building Blocks template by using the default content.
To do this, please follow:
1. Exit all Office programs.
2. Open the file explorer and navigate to:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033\15
Note: 1033 is the locale identification (LCID) number for English U.S version of Microsoft Office. For a list of locale ID numbers, see
Locale identification numbers for language-specific files.
3. Rename the Built-In Building Blocks.dotx
file to Built-In Building Blocks.old.
4. Then, navigate to
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\Document Parts\1033\15
5. Rename the Built-In Building Blocks.dotx file to
Built-In Building Blocks.old.
6. Close both folders.
7. Now, click Start, click Run, type
appwiz.cpl, and the click OK.
8. In the Currently installed programs list, right-click the version of the Office that is installed on the computer, click
Change, click Repair, and then click Continue.
9. Restart Word to check the result.
