Hypertext Link Modify By acrobat during convertion process from MsWord file

Hello,
i add some web hyperlink in my word using an internal URL protocol "mylink:".
In MsWord my link ("mylink://051245751212;tot@server") works perfectly.
But when I make a pdf creation, this Web link was transform in file link and some stuff are adding before.
for example my file MsWord files was store in "d:\temp\in" the result of the transformation of my link was "D\temp\in\mylink://051245751212;tot@server" and the type of the link is no longuer a web link (URL) but file link (GOTOR).
If in my MsWord i placed a web link like "http://www.adobe.com" the transformation is OK. Why my internal protocol doesn't have the same traitement? How i can do for Acrobat keep the details of my link like in the MsWord (Type :URL, URL:mylink:...)?
I'am using Acrobat 7.1 Pro.

thanks for your answer, but When i create the same link using advanced modifying tools in acrobat (directly in my pdf), my link works but i have a dialog box with an advertising.
So i updated the following register key to remove this dialog and it's OK :
HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\7.0\FeatureLockDown\cDefaultLaunchURLPerms"
My internal protocol was recorded in the windows register like the "http" protocol.
So Acrobat reknownize my internal protocol like URL protocol using the windows register and this key for the permission to execute the link but not when i try to convert my file?
http protocol seems be a Hard coding. I hope it's not the case and it possible to manage this by another way.
My protocol was recording like URL protocol. So i thought that Acrobat using the register to see if he must modify the link.
Like i could changed the permission on my internal protocol, can i force Acrobat to convert my internal protocol like web link?
Can i doing this by acrobat plugin?

Convert timestamp from text file (hh:mm:ss) into seconds

How can I import a column of time stamps from a text file of the form hh:mm:ss and convert it into seconds using LabView? For example, 13:30:30 into 48630.
Also, using the "Read from Spreadsheet File VI" I can't seem to get the entire time stamp imported correctly. Only the value before the colon is read. For example, if the timestamp reads 13:30:30, only 13 is inputed into the array in LabView.

Here's a LV 7 example. Just a Scan From String, a couple of Multiply functions and add the results. As far as your Read From Spreadsheet issue, by default, the function creates an array of SGLs. 13:30:30 is text and the functions needs to be modified to return an array of strings. There are instructions on the diagram on how to do this. When you've made the changes, save it as a new name and in a new location.

HT4796 Blue and white barber pole stripes during transfer process from pc to iMac

Using migration assistant from pc to iMac. After selecting files to xfer, the blu and white barber pole striped progress bar is running w/ no time status. What is the meaning?

On a Windows PC, the iTunes folder is located at
\Documents and Settings\<your username>\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
On a Mac, the iTunes folder is located at
/Users/<your username>/Music/iTunes/
Without getting into the specific details on how to do it, all you have to do is transfer that complete iTunes folder from the PC (using an external drive, networking, etc.) to the Mac. When iTunes is NOT running on the Mac, replace the existing iTunes folder with the one from the PC. When you run iTunes on the Mac, it should be like iTunes on your PC.
If you purchased protected songs, videos, and other media from the iTunes Store, you will need to authorize your new Mac with your iTunes Store account.

Image processing from .txt file onto an intensity graph

I am doing a mini project in my class and I was wondering if anyone could help me. It about image processing but I am bit stuck.
Heres the idea:
"An image is really nothing more than a 2D array of data. The value of every element in the array corresponds to the brightness of the image at that point.
In this project you will create a VI which loads a 2D array of data and then displays it on the screen using the Intensity Graph. Three example files (boats.txt, gordon.txt and parrot.txt) are available on the module webpage that you can use. However, you can also use any other black and white image you like, but will need to convert it to a “text image” first. To do this you can use some software called “ImageJ” which is available on the computers and is free to download.
You can vary the brightness of an image by adding the same value to every element in the array.
The contrast of an image is adjusted by multiplying every element in the array by the same value. Using numerical controls and simple array mathematics, you should adjust the brightness and contrast of your displayed image.
Some other ideas that you could try with image manipulation are:
o Invert an image (change black to white and white to black)"
First I am having problems putting my picture onto the graph. It is in the write file but the colours are not correct and the image has rotated 90 degrees. I will upload my VI so far when I get back onto my computer.

Time zones being re-written when files are processed from refernced files

I'm having a problem where photos with time zones set are being re-written automatically to whatever time zone my mac is currently set at when Aperture processes them for viewing regardless of the time zone they were set to. This happens as the photos load for viewing (i.e. not on the browser thumbnail view). It does this one at a time and eats up processing time. This seems to only happen (I think) for referenced files stored on my external drive and not those stored in the Aperture library. If I re-set the photos back to the proper time zones using Batch Change, it still happens next time it has to load the photo into memory, again "processing" and again the time zone reset to whatever time zone I'm now in.
Here's the exact situation:
- I've imported several photosets from a Canon 50D. The camera was set to the time zone of the country in question. Let's use India at GMT +5:30 as an example.
- When I import the photos, I also use the time zone presets, setting both the Camera Time and the Actual Time to GMT +5:30.
- I'm importing the photos as referenced files, storing them on an external hard drive.
- So when I first view the photos, the time and date show correct. Again using a real example IMG_0001 shows the date 6/10/10 1:43:31 PM GMT +05:30.
- Now I close Aperture and re-open.
- I open the folder and view the photo. The "loading" message appears at the time and the "processing" message appears on the bottom. (and during this unnecessary processing, it is very slow flipping to the next photo, a serious annoyance in browsing).
- After processing, the photo IMG_0001 now shows the date as 6/10/10 1:43:31 PM GMT +03:00 (the time zone I'm currently in and the one my Mac is currently set to)
- If I close it again and re-set my Mac to say I'm in London at GMT, and re-open, the photo is re-set instead to GMT.
- I can re-set all the dates to the proper time zone using the Batch Change where I again set both the Camera Time and Actual Time to the correct time zone. But when the photo re-loads, it again re-processes and goes back to the date of the Mac. So changes don't seem to stick.
- This appears to happen only to files that are referenced and stored on my external drive, not those stored in the Aperture library.
Has anyone had this problem? Is it a bug or some hidden setting I'm missing? Is there some way to tell Aperture "don't change the dates, ever, unless I do it via batch change"? The problem turns into a major inconvenience in reviewing and editing photos with it taking the extra processing time every photo and messing around the order.

Diagnosis
The value 23 is specified as output length in Field /BIC/ZIO_PRIC ( Position 4 ). It is also specified that the data is shipped in internal format.
System Response
The length specification for output length is ignored. If the data in the source actually have the specified lengths, this results in conversion errors.
Procedure
Select the external format if required.
Field /BIC/ZIO_PRIC ( Position 4 ): Amount field in internal format; check settings
Message no. RSDS099
Diagnosis
Setting made for Field /BIC/ZIO_PRIC ( Position 4 ) states that the data from the source is available in the internal format.
This is not usually the case for this source system type.
System Response
If you do not change this setting, the data has to be available in the internal SAP format.
Example:
For the Japanese Yen this means: 1000 JPY has to be delivered from the source as 10.00 JPY.
Procedure
Check the data format of the source and where necessary, change the setting to External.

Diagnosis
If an amount or quantity field is not delivered with values in internal format, an associated currency field or unit field must be specified so that the currency or units can be converted during data import.

Specify a reference field if the data is delivered in external format.
Specify a reference field even if the currency or unit is constant. Fields with fixed values are not part of the data source; they are filled by the system when loaded.

Hi JUergen.
The order of the fields are same as datasource. I didn't make any field for amount in a flat file as it is defined as fixed currency usd when i created a key figure. i don't think so we have to create a field unless we take 0currency is a unit for price instead of fixed currency.
Though we got the above error, it still allows activates the datasource but the 10.00 usd shows as 1000 usd.

well, that still isn't much to go off of. I give it a try though.
I guess you want to parse out the relevent data out of the xml file and then decide on your favorite delimated file format for Excel. Two popular formats are comma delimated:
"info1","info2","info3","info4"
and tab delimeted:
info <tab> info2 <tab> info3 <tab> info4
Excel should be able to unsestand either of these formats.

Unable to create .fsm file in Text Data Processing from .rul file

I am trying to compile english-tf-voc-sentiment.rul file to generate english-tf-voc-sentiment.fsm file using below command from cmd.
tf-cgc -i C:\Users\336655\Desktop\Modified\english-tf-voc-sentiment.rul -o C:\Users\336655\Desktop\Modified\english-tf-voc-sentiment.fsm
But getting below error.

where as english-tf-voc-thesaurus.rul is file which is called by english-tf-voc-sentiment.rul file

LP9 converting objects from LP9 files ?

I have several Logic Pro 9 files from about 3 months ago. But when I go to open them with LP9, it reports it is converting audio and buss objects, and if allowed to do so, completely loses all mixer/plugin settings (only arrange window is left intact). All those plugins are still available on the machine; the audio driver has not changed. In fact I cannot think of anything that has changed on the machine.
I am still running the same version of Logic 9 (9.1.6) and the same OS version (10.6.8) on the machine today. I have been running Logic fine since then on newer projects on the machine as well.   When I do get info on any of these 3 month old projects, the resource info says to use Logic Pro App 9.1.6.
Now I recall when converting older projects to LP9, you would get this converting audio/buss objects as a message if you tried to import the file instead of just opening it. I don't see how that is relevant here.   I cannot fathom why LP9 would think it has any object conversion to do at all from existing LP9 projects, but I am happy to hear any suggestions.

Universal Track Mode checkbox: Universal Track Mode is turned on by default. It allows you to play back stereo and mono regions on a single track. It should be left on.
You should only turn off Universal Track Mode if using DAE or TDM hardware. For more information, see the Logic Pro TDM Guide.
The Logic projects in question all have stereo/interleaved files, and use about 10 stereo busses with plugins loaded on them; there are maybe 8 or 10 mono busses that are not used for anything.   WIth UTC on, Logic opens the files, converts the busses, and loses every single plugin on the stereo busses. I've filed this as a bug with ADC.
BTW - there are many threads complaining about this behaviour, apparently inluding that turning off UTC does not always fix the conversion problems. Other reports complain that working around this with "Selective Track Import" is not a viable alternative.

ADE crashes during downloading epub from acsm file

Hi to everyone.
It's been a while that when I'm trying to download an ePub book via ADE from a acsm file, the software crashes and I can't get to read the books. I'm running on a Mac Yosemite. I tried different ebooks so it is not a problem of a single file. Does anyone had the same problem and solved it?

Adobe Reader X Not Converting To / From PDF ?

I have a licensed copy of Adobe Reader X Version 10.1.08 which was purchased a couple of years ago & registered. I cannot now convert to / from PDF without being redirected to an obligatory online subscription. Why is this so ?

You probably had Adobe Acrobat, not Reader, which is indeed a paid product with the ability to convert to/from PDF files.
If you also installed Reader you can remove it and go back to using Acrobat, which has all the functionalities that Reader has, and more.
