Hypertrend Cursor displaying incorrect data

Upgrading to Lookout V6.6 build 49152 from 5.1. The hypertrends work but the cursor information is always the same and doesnt change when moving the cursor.

Here is a hypertrend with the cursor in two different positions. The value is 37 for this trend line no matter where the trend is when it is opened. Other trend lines are stuck at different values.

Try doing a reset on your phone. Sounds like your carrier's time set is not getting through to your device. If the reset doesn't do it, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. That should do it.

Cursor Displaying Incorrectly

So for about 3 months now, the mouse cursor on my macbook has been displaying incorrectly. Instead of displaying the solid black arrow, it displays the white shape of the arrow, but with vertical black lines in it. It flickers the correct display of the cursor as I move it over the right side of the screen, but otherwise displays it all wacked out. It still functions as normal, just doesn't display properly. Before anyone asks, I did nothing to change the cursor, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why it started doing this. I left it powered up, but sleeping, for about 12 days while I was out of the country in January, and when I got home and opened it up, it was like this and has been ever since. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks for your time and help!

ECT List View Web Part displaying incorrect data when View Item

I have a External Content Type which pulls data from a stored procedure. The stored procedure has 1 parameter - the users logon id. The data retrieved is a list of meetings with start date time, end date time, location, subject, etc. From this ECT there
is an External List which displays all data correctly.
There is 2 pages within the site and its subsites that have list view web parts which display a subset of the info from the external list. When the user clicks a specific meeting to display the complete info on the meeting, the wrong information is displayed,
it always displays the info for the 1st meeting in the list. So, I displayed the BDC Identity field on the list and this field is identical for all the rows since the key for the ECT is the username and hence not unique.
I've spent all day trying to finding a way to resolve this and have come up empty. I've tried to find a way to make the BDC Identity field to be unique, using Business Data View web part, Data View web part, and nothing.
The user needs to be able to click the My Meetings url header on the above pages to see a full list of their meetings so I need the external list. Any ideas how to make the BDC Identity field unique or how to get the View Item on the List View web part to
work correctly?

I resolved the non unique BDC Identity problem by simply adding the row # to the Username in the stored procedure so the BDC Identity fields on the list records are now unique (although they're really long ie. __bk44003500070057003700560027000200140037003700f600360096001600470056003300,
__bk44003500070057003700560027000200140037003700f600360096001600470056004300 etc). Not sure how it generates the BDC Identity?
I still see the same behaviour when you select a meeting to display the details. It always displays the 1st record in the list.
I added code to the DispForm to display the ID when the page loads and the BDC Identity from the record and verfied that they do match.
I can add another parameter to the stored procedure and just return the row # in that field. What do you mean by make the identifire as Identity in operations?

Yes its all correct. I have just discovered that a separate calendar was set up with incorrect settings from the originator. I have checked all my settings and I'm good to go. thanks for your response

IPhoto displays incorrect dates for photos imported from iPod

I recently purchased the iPod Camera Connector for use with my 4G iPod with color display (iPod Photo). I took a few pictures on my Canon SD110 digital camera and used the Camera Connector to copy the pictures to my iPod. I then plugged the iPod into the computer, opened iPhoto, and imported these pictures from the iPod. All of this worked without a hitch.
However, I noticed that the roll of images that iPhoto created is dated incorrectly (it says 12.31.2000). The photos themselves have the correct date (5.21.2007) but the incorrect time (3:15p instead of 6:15p).
My camera, computer, and iPod are all set to the correct date and time. Any idea what's causing this? It's not a particularly big deal as I can just change the dates on the rolls to match what the photos say (and adjust the times on the photos to be 3 hours ahead), but I shouldn't have to do this if all of the date/time information is set correctly.

All photos from the My Photo Stream go into a monthly Event. If you sort your Events by Date - Descending the most recent Events will be at the top of the Event window. The monthly Events will look like this:

WebI displays incorrect dates when sourced from SAP

We have several issues, all tied to displaying dates from a BEx Query, through the universe, into WebI.
Scenario One: Dates that have a datatype of date will parse in the universe, but will give driver not capable when used in WebI. Could this be tied to an invalid date?
Scenario Two: Dates set with date datatype parse correctly and can be queried in WebI, but return incorrect results. If queried WITHOUT a measure, date appears as one day less than actual date (ex. SAP date = Apr 28, 2009 but universe object set with date datatype shows April 27, 2009. When a measure is added, the same date displays as Sept 27, 1976.
I suspect that we need to modify the data access files in order to accurately convert SAP dates (which by default come into the universe as Character) to a date datatype. If this is the case, are there sample sapen.prm and sap.sbo files to ensure appropriate settings?
Does anyone have additional thoughts on what could be causing this issue? Are there sample sapen.prm and sap.sbo files anyone would be willing to share?

If you are using BOE XI 3.1. Then make sure that you apply fixpack 1.4 on it because the issue you are Describing is Fixed in this fix pack.

Query display incorrect data by authorize object

I have 2 location (1001, 1002).
And I set 0plant for authorization. I set 'AA' user for display 1002 location.
I create stock query, that it can input location by 0plant infoobject.
(New variable -> processing by: Authorize -> selection and optional and ready for input)
Result:
Input 1001 -> I receive "No Authorize" -> OK
Input 1002 -> I receive 1002 data -> OK
Input 1001,1002 -> I receive "No Authorize" -> Not OK -> I want to display only 1002 data
No input -> I receive all data both 1001 and 1002 -> Not OK -> I want to display only 1002 data
please help me

are you using the (new) concept of analysis authorizations?
If yes, then think about this important rule: authorizations do not work as a filter. Authorizations define the area that the user is allowed to see, but you still need to define the filters in the query in order to make sure that the query does not select more than the user is authorized to. The variable that you created should help the user filter the data, so it should show you only 1002 in the F4 help, but not 1001. If, however, the user manually enters something out of the authorized area, he should get a "not authorized" error.
So, in your cases:
- Input 1001,1002 -> I receive "No Authorize" -> Not OK -> I want to display only 1002 data
Query tries to select both plants, but the user is only authorized to 1002, so "no authorization" message is expected
- No input -> I receive all data both 1001 and 1002 -> Not OK -> I want to display only 1002 data
This should not happen. Are you sure that data for 1001 is also displayed? If yes, check the authorization log via RSECADMIN to see which authorization allows the user to see plant 1001.

Variable displaying incorrect data for selection in template

Hello Friends,
We have an InfoObject 0CALMONTH. On this InfoObject we have created a variable PERIOD (Z_INTER). This InfoObject and variable is used in two queries (A & B). In BEx the variable is working fine for both the queries, that means the variable shows the correct period (04/2005 to 01/2007). This data exists in our dataprovider.
Now in a web template, I pull a chart and associate query A as the dataprovider and the variable works fine. It also does so if I associate query B as the dataprovider. The problem starts when I pull two charts, simultaneously in the template, and associate one with query A and other with query B. This time the variable acts funny and shows and incorrect period for selection (03/1995 to 03/2005). We do not have any data for the year 1995 to 2004 in the dataprovider.
So you see individually the queries (and variable) run fine but as soon as I ask them to co-exist in the same template, I get aberrations. We are not sure from where this previous years data is being pulled.

Hi,
I feel 1995 year data should be available in any one of the cube. Check the complete data in the cube directly with 'manage' tab or 'listcube' transaction code.
And one more idea in my mind is, remove the variables from the queries and use 'filter' option in WAD for filtering the caleder month.
Try this also: Use only one variable for both reports. I mean to say, remove variable in one report. Check whether both reports also running fine.
Once you try this, let me know the status. According that we will try more things.

CFChart Displaying False Data

I posted a question previously about grouping CFChart output
that was answered by MikeRoo. I thought it was solved and marked it
as such. However, this morning I discovered that the Chart
contained invalid data -- data that is not in the database. I did
not see a way to change the previous thread to "Unanswered" so I'm
posting this new thread -- for which I apologize ahead of time if
I'm not supposed to do it this way. But this is more of a problem
than the grouping was because it is showing false results.
I want to display a Bar graph with TQs along the X axis
(bottom) and Percentages along the Y axis (side). But I need a
percentage of each InsideTQ and OutsideTQ for each Originator.
What is happening is that I'm getting InsideTQ and OutsideTQ
values for Originators that do not have that TQ. For example:
Originator 00021
TQ 3
InsideTQ 40 percent
OutsideTQ 60 percent
TQ 6
InsideTQ 44 percent
OutsideTQ 56 percent
But what I'm seeing on the graph is that Originator 00021
shows a TQ 5 with an InsideTQ and OutsideTQ value, but there isn't
a TQ 5 for this Originator. This particular Originator should only
have 5 values on the chart, yet there are 13 being displayed for
it. I've double checked the tables, I've created temp tables from
my queries to step through each query and query of query. My
queries are correct and they display the data correctly on the
report table. But the CFChart is showing false data. The good news
is that all of the data that is really is in the database is shown
correctly on the chart...just seems to make up other data.
Attached are my queries, chart, and table. I have a jpg of
the chart if anyone thinks that might help...

Yeah it's a LOT of code...that is why I was trying to give it
to you in pieces, didn't want to scare you off ;-)
Something I tried yesterday: I pulled the CFChart out and
opened it in a new window with just the attached code and it still
displays incorrect data. My best guess on where the data is coming
from -- it is some how ignoring my more specific filters and
returning data for rows where the Originator or TQ is NULL though I
specify not to include those. I use the NULL Originator and TQ
fields for my roll up counts but I don't want them in the chart.
However, when I've found strange values in the chart, they all
point back to a row in the table with a NULL Originator or TQ. Now
on my table, those values are being filtered correctly. So, I'm
still blaming the chart and not my queries...just wish I knew why!?
Again, any time you have when you can help, it is
appreciated. I'm going to lock down the filters so that the users
can only select 1 Originator and/or 1 Object. This way the report
in production will display correctly until we can solve the problem
in the development report.
Side Note: I downloaded a trial version of Chart Director. I
just started looking at it yesterday, spent a few hours trying to
figure out how I would get it to work with my CF site. I'm such a
CF geek that I forget about those other languages...we have .NET,
we have VB, and other assorted development tools so it shouldn't be
too difficult to figure out how to fit it into the current
reporting tool. I'll let you know how it goes...also the book you
suggested "Visual Display of Quantative Information" does that
cover Chart Director? Trying to get our Project Lead to purchase
Chart Director and a few books so I don't bang my head against the
wall on these charts...

Thanks for the advice. I finally tried a solution after doing nothing. LoL. What I did do was change the channel the router was on from 9 to 7. I think I've done something like this in the past when I had slow internet and that worked out well too. I thought that would help and so far so good. Not an interruption so far but we shall see. To the guy or girl who expressed that they had the same problem as me I would try changing the channel of your router like I did. I will monitor the situation and see if it totally solved my problem or not and keep this thread updated. Thanks people

Storage values under about this mac displaying incorrectly, but amount of space used IS correct. Any ideas?

I noticed recently that the "storage" under "about this mac" is displaying incorrectly. It doesn't show the correct values for my photos, videos, and audio files. It classifies this data under "other". I have been searching all over the internet, I went to the Apple genius bar yesterday and they recommended I re-install OSX. I did and it still shows up incorrectly. They were baffled, said they never really came across this issue. I have tried re-indexing spotlight, that didn't seem to help.
The amount of storage used IS correct. It just doesn't show up under the correct categories in storage, under about this mac. Also, the computer seems to work fine. No real issues. It's a mid 2012 MBP. 500gb hard drive. Most recent OSX is installed.
I DO NOT think it is local snapshots, cause my backups category is small and the amount of space used and free is correct. I have downloaded omnidisk sweeper to confirm this.
I have seen a few posts on here and around the web referring to this, but no real answers. I have also reviewed Pondini's info on this to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas?!?!

I had installed a version of parallels with windows 7, but deleted it. Would parallels be causing my computer to index incorrectly? I I used appcleaner to delete all the parallels files so I do not have it anymore.

Inventory cube non cumulative KF displaying incorrectly.

I have created a inventory cube which is a copy of 0IC_C03, fed from a DSO which has the all the Material documents.
I have intitialised using the BX extraxctor to the cube, then loading data from r/3 via the dso. Have MP on top of inventory and revaluation cube.
Due to an error in the code logic i had to drop the cube and reload the data from the BX PSA and subsequently the DSO.
my problem started then, the cumulative key figure have gone haywire ie they the balance display rubbish data. the data loaded into the cube is correct
also if I delete the latest request and reload the request, then the KF display correctly. strange!
I also the same problem for value as i have a revaluation cube. the inventory values are wrong, when i do a list cube from the MP all is ok.
i checked the validity slice rsdv, it is ok.
i also only have 0calday as the non cumulative setting.
Another thing i noticed was if filter the material by one plant then i get the correct value, if i try to display all plants then it all the balances go incorrect.
also if i see the balances by month only the latest month is incorrect.
if you need more info please feel free to ask.
appreciate if some can propose a solution

SAP suggests to upload non-cumulatives NEVER from a DSO but from the PSA in parallel to DSO and Cube.

Some character display incorrect after unicode conversion

Currently we upgrade our SAP system from 4.6B NU to ECC6.0 UN.
in 4.6B system we had implemented Simple Chinese and French language package to the system. after upgrade to ECC6.0 no-unicode system. we perform a MDMP unicode conversion.currently system running with ECC6.0 unicode interface with language 1EFD. SUMG releated tasks had been finished. Chinese and French language checked OK in ECC6 UN system.
Our issue is. in the past time. some Spanish local end user typing some spanish character in some master date field when they login in 4.6B GUI choice english as login language.these kind of spanish characters could not display correct in current unicode environment.
could you please given us some suggestion for how to fix this issue.

I doubt that the data shown by you in the link was caused by Spanish users logged on in EN.
I think this was rather caused by utf-8 data uploaded into the Non-Unicode system.
In this case, you need to repair the according texts manually, I do not know any automatic repair.

Incorrect data for proportional factor in query based on Planning Book

We have upgraded from APO 3.1 to SCM 5.0.
Post upgrade, the proportional factor is being displayed incorrectly in the BEX query based on the Planning Book data if we run the query for multiple months.
for eg,
if, in the planning book, the proportional factor for months 10.2009 and 11.2009 are as follows :
Brand >> Month >> Proportional Factor
B1 >> 10.2009 >> 70%
B2 >> 10.2009 >> 30%
B1 >> 11.2009 >> 80%
B2 >> 11.2009 >> 20%
When we execute the query for the above brands for months 10.2009 and 11.2009,
then, at the total level, the % displayed is 100% and the data at brand level is halved.
We do not have any exits or formulae operating at the key figure level in the query and hence are unable to figure out why this is happenning...
Any clue on this ?
