I absolutely cannot get to the NONE option when trying to sign up without a credit card. Anyone sle find a away around this?

I have tried everything to get into iTunes without putting on a credit card. Has anyone found a way in? Even icloud doesn't work for me.

You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps

To get the none option, sign out of anything apple you're signed into. Go to the app store and try to download a free app, any free app. Instead of signing in, take the option to to make a new apple ID. Then go through the steps to make the ID and you'll see the 'none' option.

How come I don't get the none option when trying to update my payment information?

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you have a credit card on your account then it needs to be valid. Have you tried removing it from yoru account ? On your iPad try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should give you a payments link on your account's page.

How to i get past the settings screen when trying to view my photostream? I just get stuck on the iCloudPhotos Settings page and can to any further. Really annoying and i guess there is a simple answer to it? Can anyone tell me?

In terms of your PowerBook G4, apparently your Hard Disk Drive has failed completely and I am not sure what else it wrong.
First, try this:
• Shut down the computer.
• Locate the following keys: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously later.
• Turn on the computer.
• Press and hold the Command + Option + P + R keys immediately after the startup chime.
• Hold keys down until you hear the startup chime for the third time.
• Release the keys and immediately hold down Shift key to start up in Safe Mode.
• Log in and empty Trash.
• Restart normally and log in.
If that does not work try Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it says anything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or Disk Warrior
If still no dice, try the procedure outlined in the article Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck.

Folio producer is not giving me the "Public" option when trying to publish my folios!

I have created everything and i am ready to make a .zip file but I thought you had to make your piece "public" after you selected "publish?"
It will only give me the private option and i am trying to place this in the app store.

Trying to access my iCloud and it keeps telling me that my account password needs to be changed. I done that and yet it still gives me the same message when trying to sign in iCloud.

As i try to sign into the iCloud a message comes up that I need to reset my password for security reasons. So i did that and tried to sign in with the new password and It gives me the same message. I have no problem with my password for I was able to post this problem.

How can I change the address included. In my apple ID without needing credit card details?

I incorrectly entered my address information when creating me apple ID. I went to change it in my settings but it requires me to enter credit card information, which I do not have. So how ca I change the address?

iTunes Store - click 'Account' in the list at right and log in. Then click 'edit' next to your address. This will take you to Payment Details. You should be able to edit the address there without changing the credit card - is this where you are having a problem?
Alternatively you can go to http://appleid.apple.com - click 'Manage Your Apple ID' and log in with the ID in question. Click 'Addresses' in the list at left and you can edit the address.

You need neither a credit card nor a gift card to use iCloud, just create your ID at settings > iCloud.

Can't get past the library icon when trying to attach photos

When I try to attach photos in an e-mail application (other than the mac mail program) I click "attach" then select "pictures", then the library icon appears but there is no list of the photos contained in the library. I have tried "control-click. to open this but it doesn't work. I've been using Macs since my first Classic in the late 80's but I can't figure this one. ANy help? Thanks.

There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
1. Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
2. File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
3. Show File: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
To upload to MySpace or any site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use THIS
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you're using a cocoa browser like Safari, then you can drag the pic from the iPhoto Window to the attach window. Or you can create a quick media browser using Automator.
The change was made to the format of the iPhoto library because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves. If you're willing to risk database corruption, you can restore the older functionality simply by right clicking on the iPhoto Library and choosing 'Show Package Contents'. Then simply make an alias to the folders you require and put that alias on the desktop or where ever you want it. Be aware though, that this is a hack and not supported by Apple.

I cannot Get Media after seeing thumbnails when trying to import from iPhone. Why?

I connect my iPhone to my PC and open Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer. I click Import and select my iPhone (using current iOS version). It searches and finds all photos. I click get media and I get the following error: "Elements cannot obtain files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged, and try again."
I click Ok and the import fails.
In the attached screen shot you can see the import process about to begin, but the error box pop up over top.
Please help so I can import my iPhone pics.

I think I may haev solved the problem. I imported in chunks and found that one of the files was throwing off the import. Then the problem resolved and the import worked.
I still get duplicates when importing from the iPhone. Is this still a bug?
I solve that by searching for *.jpg and *.mov with file names "-1" (excluding "edited") and then delete them. That works, but the bug is still a problem.

After looking at some other posts I signed into iTunes and edited my password with my Mac. Then I powered off and restarted my iPad and all is good now.

How can I get past the phone passcode when trying to use an old phone
