I accidentally deleted a history link that enables "friends" to be listed in Farmville. How can I get it back?
I was deleting a link in the history list that enabled a specific gift claim in Farmville when I was installing Firefox 4. It apparently deleted the whole link for gifting and the listing of friends in Farmville and in Dragons of Atlantis. I cannot play these games fully without having access to my Facebook Friends who are also playing these games. It did not effect the same feature in Kingdoms on Camelot. How can I restore the friends link in the other two games? I told the history to "forget" the specific link for one specific gift claim. There were other links in the history list that I did not touch.

I don't think you actually deleted any fonts. The missing fonts are Truetype fonts originally installed with Microsoft Windows XP. The website probably was optimized for Windows XP and Internet Explorer some time ago. These fonts were never part of Mac OS X.
NOTE: My answer does not address font licensing issues if you do not own a Windows XP computer!
If you have a XP computer, you can locate and copy those font files from the Windows computer to a flash drive, eject it, put the flash drive into your Mac, open it in Finder, and click on each ttf filename, one at a time. They should automatically open in in a window similar to this one for the Orbitron font:
Click the Install Font.
Repeat this for each of the four ttf files, and you are done.

i had icloud in my itunes program and i think i accidentally deleted it when a message prompt popped up, how can i get it back because when i download music from my iphone it is not going to the cloud or downloading into my itunes upon opening the program!!!! very frustrated..............
There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

After connnecting Iphone to iTunes ( while trying to delete U2's album that Apple forced on all iOS users. ), all of my songs have been removed. How can I get them back?
I dont use iTunes since I have a windows laptop. I use CopyTrans , a program that basically emulates iTunes but is simpler. However it wouldnt allow me to delete U2s album from my phone.
After removing one song iTunes "updated" my phone's song list but in reality just deleted every song on it ( except for U2's atrocious album !!)
Is there any way I can get my songs back?

My address book on the mac showed duplicate contacts so I started to delete them. I deleted A-C. However, on icloud.com, they were not duplictaed and now all of my A-C contacts are gone. How can I get them back?
I think i did the same thing. I just got a new MacBook Air and when it synced with iCloud I had doubles of all my contacts. Now I'm missing most of my contacts as well.... Someone please help with a solution to this mistake....

#Now in Firefox you are unable to view your bookmarks
Is that the issue? If so, it is unlikely that a connectivity issue has caused this problem. Also, can you please confirm if you have enabled Firefox Sync?

Message I'm receiving from Firefox is "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because on of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have not made any changes on my computer. I did uninstall and reinstall Firefox but bookmarks and history system still not working. I am using the latest version of Firefox on Windows Vista.
ThanksThis indicates that there is a problem with the file that stores the bookmarks and history. Re-installing Firefox does not by default remove the profile folder where that file is stored. I deleted the U2 album and I hid the album in the cloud, how can I get it back
I was having problems opening the booklet so I deleted the entire album from my library and clicked on "hide this from the cloud" now I can't find it at all.... it never showed up in my purchased file either... help!
You should be able to unhide it by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.
You should then be able to download the album and its booklet via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage - downloading the booklet from there should work, when I downloaded it via the Music part of my library I got a corrupt message when trying to open it. -
I updated to Mavericks yesterday and since then, my computer has been exceedingly slow!
Windows and applications take forever to open. I get the spinning pinwheel of death every few minutes.
The notes that were in the email app. are gone! where are they?!The notes are in the Notes application. Restart the computer and see whether there's an improvement in performance.

Patricia SutcliffeHi Patricia, the theory behind clearing cookies is that they may include obsolete or corrupted information. There's no way to know which one poses the problem, so it's usually best to clear them all. Facebook will set new cookies when you log back into the site.
Regarding the chat windows, I don't why the two accounts would work differently. Perhaps it is a setting within Facebook? -
My iphone has recently crashed & i had music from itunes i had not yet synced to my computer how do i get it back without having to buy it again, im in Australia so do not yet have icloud
Unfortunately you can't. You could try contacting Apple and asking nicely, but they're under no obligation to help you. If you can wait until fall*, when iCloud is officially launched alongside iOS 5, you can probably download them all again then.
The small print at the bottom of http://www.apple.com/au/icloud/ says "some music features of iCloud are available in beta now in the U.S. only"
I can't find anything which guarantees it will work outside the US after the beta, but it probably will. iTunes Match is definitely US only, for a couple of years at least until the legal stuff is dealt with.
