I accidentally deleted adobe bridge

Where can I download it again? I called the 1-800# but they are closed for tonight!  Can anybody help me with this? Thanks

If you don't have a backup volume, just reinstall Bridge from your install DVD or your original download.
You just deleted the application, not any images at all.

  • Can I delete Adobe Bridge?

I use InDesign CS 5.5. However, I use it ONLY for simple projects like creating a manual to be printed. I do not do anything fancy with it. Can I delete Adobe Bridge? I see this huge 178 GB application plus all of its support folders in my apps folder. I never use it. Can I delete it? If I delete it, will that have any negative impact on using InDesign or Illustrator?

181 Mb (not Gigabytes!) on my system is not that large. The uninstaller for CS5.5 cannot uninstall Bridge. I'd leave it.
It's a very useful utility, you just haven't learned to use it properly.

  • How do I manually delete Adobe Bridge CS6 preferences?

So I've come across some problems with Bridge not starting after I downloaded PS CS6, and many people have said to clear the preferences. I've tried doing the whole "hold ctrl & open Bridge" but it doesn't work in my situation, so I was wondering where exactly do I go to manually delete the preferences
Bad question no doubt, but will there even be preferences made if I haven't actually been able to start Bridge once?
    Thanks,

Seem like the links to Adobe fact sheets are broken, so have not been able to find one on manually resetting preferences.
Since you have not set up cache for a different location it should be in C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Adobe\Bridge[#]\Cache, at least that is what one source says.
If not there look in C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge[#]\Cache.
Be aware AppData is a hidden file so turn that on in Windows Explorer.
In your case I think you either have a bad install or there is some conflict with Bridge and another program on your computer preventing it from opening.  Anti-virus programs are the #1 cause for problems.

  • Accidentally deleted Blackberry Bridge from Playbook

Hello fellow BBers.  I have been having problems with my Bridged Email (flashing white and black repeatedly when trying to access), so I decided to deleted the Bridge app and reload - WRONG ANSWER!! Now I can not find Bridge anywhere so I can re-load the app.  It appears all my bridge functions work (except still have problem with email function), but the bridge icon is grayed out.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to re-load Bridge and has anyone had a problem opening their email like I have.  The native email works fine, but the beauty of bridge was to allow me access to my smartphone funcitons especially the email and now it does not work.
Still love my PB over any other tablet I have tested.

Cinnect to your > run the BlackBerry desktop software and you may be prompted for an update. If not click on applications and see if it listed that you can check to reinstall.

  • Accidentally deleted Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from Creative Cloud account - how to reinstall?

I have an Adobe Creative Cloud account and it will not allow me to reinstall Adobe Acrobat XI because it thinks it is updated. However, I accidentally uninstalled it, trying to prevent it from over-riding an older Adobe Acrobat install I had. I now need to reinstall it.
How can I get the Adobe updated to recognize that Adobe Acrobat is not installed? I've had it recheck several times over the last 2 months.
The Adobe site will not download it, even though I select the "download" button, nor will the Creative Cloud account installer.

Shut down Acrobat and any Creative Cloud application before doing this procedure.
    1    Rename caps folder.
              a.  Using the Finder menu Go>Go to Folder.
              b.  In the "Go to Folder" window put the following path:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
              c.  Rename the folder named "caps" at this location to something else (i.e. OLD_caps):
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
2    Install Acrobat from within the Creative Cloud application.
    3    Rename new caps folder.
              a.  Using the Finder menu Go>Go to Folder.
              b.  In the "Go to Folder" window put the following path:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
              c.  Rename the folder named "caps" at this location to something else (i.e. NEW_caps):
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
4 Rename the OLD_caps folder back to "caps"
5 Now you should be good.
*Note:  The "caps" folder contains the files that the Creative Cloud application reads to show what IS and IS NOT installed.

  • Is there a way to retrieve a deleted file in adobe bridge?

    Hey-
So, for my photography class we upload pictures to a server and then edit them in bridge. I was going through and saving the ones I wanted to keep to my hard drive but I think I accidentally deleted a folder of photos I didn't mean to. The "undo" button couldn't be used and Google suggested a "version cue" retrieval but that's non-existent with mine.
Does anyone know if adobe bridge has a recycle bin somewhere I can pull the file out of?

The deleted files go into the recycle bin of Windows.  Check there before emptying.

  • Don't have permission to delete files in Preview or Adobe Bridge CS3

    Help!
I'm unable to delete image files in Preview or Adobe Bridge CS3.
    Workflow:
    1. Take a bunch of photos on my Nikon
    2. Load them to my MacBook Pro, 10.6.3
    3. Open them in Preview and right-click "Move to Trash" on the photos that I don't want.
==> this results in "Move to Trash Failed. Some files could not be moved to Trash."
    4. If I open the bunch of photos in Adobe Bridge CS3 and command-delete the photos that I don't want
==> I get "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient permissions."
I am logged in as the same user who loaded the image files.
Permission on the image folder start out at
    me: Read & Write
    admin: Read only
    everyone: Read only
but even if I change all to Read & Write, I still get the same errors.
    What's going on?????
    Thanks.

Did you ever figure this one out? I'm having the same issue...

  • Adobe Bridge has been deleted and needs to be re-installed. How can this be done without reinstallin

Adobe Bridge has been deleted and needs to be re-installed. How can this be done without reinstalling the entire CS5

    Hi RDMDanielM,
    Welcome to the Community!
We cannot install Adobe Bridge as a Standalone product, you can just reinstall Photoshop and Bridge will be reinstalled with it. Go ahead and start uninstalling CS5 suite but choose Photoshop from the list and the same will be applicable while Installation.
    Thanks!

  • Help - Adobe Bridge will not delete or reject images (win7)

Hi there everyone, I have a new problem that it seems nobody else has ever had as I can't find any support via google or yahoo.
As a photographer the issue is quote inhibiting.. Basically when I go to delete an image in bridge, it comes up with 'are you sure you want to send this image to the recylce bin' and I click 'yes' then it moves to the next image.. just like its supposed to BUT the image I 'deleted' has not moved from the folder.. it has not gone.
The same happens if I try to 'reject' an image. and yes I have 'show rejected images' selected.. yet just as with delete, when I try to 'reject' an image nothing happens.
    * If I hit the delete button, 'do you want to reject this file or delete it?'
If I hit reject OR delete.. nothing happens.
If I hit 'control and delete' it asks me if I am sure I want to delete it.. then the fires remain.
I have a laptop with adobe Bridge on windowsvista, and no problem. My old pc was on windows xp and no problem.
This problem seems to be specific to windows7?
    Does Adobe bridge
    VERSION CS4
    not support win7?

I have had the same problem with Windows 7  64bit until I figured it out about 15 minutes ago.  It has to do with file permissions that are set automatically by Windows.  If you go to "My Computer", find the root folder that your photos are in, right click on the folder, and select "Properties" from the context menu, under the "General" tab, you will probably see that the "Read Only" box is checked.  You will need to uncheck it and select "Apply". When it prompts you, select that you want this applied to all folders below the root photo folder. I assume you have your photos in multiple folders under a main folder.  Then select the "Security" tab on the same "Properties" menu. You need to make sure that the users listed (you have to select them one at a time if there are several) have permissions to modify the files.  I found this out after I completed the unchecking of the "Read Only" box and went back to Bridge.  It didn't work until I went back and made the corrections under the "Security Tab".  I hope this explanation isn't too muddy.  Feel free to ask me for clarification or, for that matter,   I am sure people in the forum can give you more erudite explanations of what I just wrote.

  • Accidental delete of Adobe Acrobat Pro

    Hi,
I installed Acrobat Pro successfully, but it was accidentally deleted from my hard drive (without running the uninstaller).
I would like to re-install, however Adobe App Manager says the program is "up to date" — preventing any re-installation.
What to do?  Please help, thanks.

  • I accidentally deleted my photos; how do I download my files and photos from Adobe Online Storage?

I accidentally deleted my photos; how do I download my files and photos from Adobe Online Storage?

So i think backup online the the most effective way to protect data loss!
If you found you have lost your important files, you can just download it from the online server.
And if you delete your files from hard disk and cannot download it from online storage, there is still another way-data recovery software to recover your lost files.
