I accidentally deleted an app and then redownloaded it, but all my data was gone. Can I retrieve that data because I already redownloaded it?
Can someone please help? I really want to get back the data from this app and I already tried downloading it from the purchased section in the App Store but it gave the most recent download's data. I need the initial download's data!
I am not using cloud and I haven't backed up in over a month, is there any other way?

OPen teh Kindle app.
Tap the i at bottom right then Settings > Deregister this device.

He does not have an actual kindle so I am not sure if he would be able to create one anyways.
The Kindle app is so you do not have to use a Kindle. Yes, he can have a Kindle account and not own an actual Kindle hardware device. -
The problem I'm having with my Bible +1 App wasn't solved by resetting my iPad. I was told to then delete the App and re-install it, but if I do that, won't that delete EVERYTHING within the App, like all the highlighting and Notes? And I'm sorry to say, I'm extremely technologically inept - only had this iPad since mid-April and the first piece of computer ANYTHING in well over 15 years with my son - and we never had the InterNet. The reason I'm telling this is, I'm not even sure HOW to re-install an App. Sorry.
If the app continually fails to run the delete and renown load might help. But yes, you will lose everything that you have done with the app unless there is some way to back up the info to your computer or another device.
You might also contact the developer of the app to see if they are aware of the problem and are working on fixing it. The developer info can normally be found in the information on the app provided in the App Store. -
I downloaded nds4ios for my ipod touch and now it's acting screwy. I deleted the app and reset my ipod but I still can't access either Itunes stores, send messages, or access the internet. What should I do?

I have apps in my notification center on for notifications (like News apps), with banner and sounds, but i never get the notification from those apps. I tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone but all in vain

On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference... -

Without iTunes on a computer there is nothing that you can do. If you are locked out because you forgot the passcode your only solution is to restore the iPad using iTunes on a computer.
I don't know exactly want you mean by it is not responding - does that mean that it will not power up again? -
EIGHT hours into a Powerpoint presentation. Wanted to delete the content of a particular slide. Did a "command +A" (select all), hit delete...and then like a complete idiot, saved it, thereby overwriting all of the content. The file itself has not been deleted...now it's just a blank presentation with all content MIA. Previous to this screw up, there were 49 versions. Is there a way I can find the last version before my DEFCON LEVEL: BLONDE moment???

I have had great difficulty deleting photos from iPad I have followed advice and connected to computer and iTunes but cannot find anywhere to click on delete I also deleted photos fro computer and synced again and then found hundreds of more photos on iPad which were unwanted at the same time I lost a film I had purchased from iTunes and The soundtrack of film from iPod
Photos that were synced from your computer you should be able to delete by movin/removing them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing (or de-selecting the whole folder if you want to remove the entire album from the iPad).
Photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view. They should also appear in Windows Explorer on PC where you can delete them, and in iPhoto on a Mac you can delete them after importing. -

No but CleanMyMac ca cause destructive issues to your system. I would recommend uninstalling it completely as per the Developers instructions, and if Preview still is not working, then chances are good that CleanMyMac has corrupted it and you may need to reinstall Mavericks (after backing up your system)

My Pages App will not open after I recently updated it. I'm afraid to lose all my docs if I delete the App and re-install.
First of all - you are running the proper iOS in order to use the latest version of Pages - correct? You need iOS 6 now.
If so ....See if this helps. Maybe Pages will open after you try this.
Quit the Pages app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or ..... Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that didn't help backup and send your files into iTunes with file sharing.
You could lose all of your files if you delete and reinstall the app. That is precisely why you should backup your iPad and send your files into iTunes using files sharing on the iPad. Do you backup or use file sharing?

I was having trouble with freezing up in Draw Something 2... I was told to delete app and reinstall. So..I deleted the app and tried to reinstall but I cannot find the app anywhere!? I have looked and searched the App Store, went through purchases, my games, Cloud...etc..what should I do now? I have purchased a lot of inks and other things in Draw 2,,,will I be able to recover all?

i installed a free app and then deleted the app. under apps the app is still listed and says open, but when i tap on that it goes to another screen and when i tap on open it changes to free when i tap free it changes to light green install and tap again goes to all green install and what do i do then do not see anything to click on to make it install. what am i doing wrong. this is for a iphone 5s
The 'open' indicated that the App Store though that it was still installed on your phone.
Have you tried closing the App Store app via the phone's multitasking bar and seeing if you can install it after the phone has restarted ? Double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar. You should be able to redownload the app by tapping on the cloud icon next to it in the Purchased tab in the App Store app
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -
i have downloaded viber on my iphone 5. i cant activate my account because it says that i have to turn on my push notifications, which i have triple checked. i have also tried deleting the app and redownloading.

It sounds as if you purchased the app, but you also purchased some subscription within the app. You say "Apple is charging monthly", but it's probably the app writer that is charging you monthly for some subscription you purchased within the app. Contact the app vendor and tell them you want to stop the subscription.
