I accidentally deleted the applications: Mail, Safari
I accidentally deleted the applications: Mail, Safari & iTunes from the launchpad. I also emptied the trash by accident.
Is there a way to reinstall these applications without reinstalling the Mac OS X?
Will upgrading to Mountain Lion resolive my problem?
What is the best solution?
Thank You,
Mrs_Yu
If Spotlight is unable to locate your apps, use the install disc that came with your computer to custom install. On screen directions will guide you. Once this is done, use Software Update to update Safari, iTunes and Mail if necessary.

If you accidentally delete the Apllication icon on your dock, how do you add it back there???
You click on the hard disk in the Finder's sidebar and drag it back from there. In recent Mac OS X versions, you can also drag it there directly from the sidebar.

ZTE Modem not installing after I accidentally deleted the application
Hi All
I am hoping someone can help.
I have a ZTE M190 modem that I am trying to reinstall onto my Macbook Air. I accidentally deleted the software from my Mac and trashed this as well..
Tried seeing if i can't find it using Time Machine, but not there.
I am currently running Yosemite and have tried most of the stuff i read online.
I can see the modem when i check my system information under Hardware/USB, but have no idea where to reinstall the software that i deleted. I deleted the .kext files as well, restarted, etc.. Nothing helps.
I have installed new drivers, restarted, still nothing..
I even tried using the modem in a windows pc and tried copying the installation files, but obviously the formats differ, and i cannot convert the file format.
I would really appreciate your feedback and advice.
Thanks.# RESOLVED #

I accidentally deleted the Applications folder on my dock
How can I restore it?
When you drag it back to the dock, make sure you're dragging it to the area left of the divider, where the Documents and Downloads icons are. You can tell you're far enough to the left because the icons in the dock will start to move out of the way to make room for the new icon. However, make sure you're not dragging into a folder in the dock. You can tell if you're dragging to a folder instead of the dock if a folder becomes selected (darker) and its name appears in a bubble above it.

I accidentally deleted the passwords saved in safari preferences
I accidentally deleted the passwords saved in my safari preferences and I cannot remember them to manually input them in again. They were for my email and facebook and dropbox. How can i recover these passwords that were saved on safari preferences since I accidentally removed it? Please help! Thanks!
Open Keychain Access located in your Applications > Utilities folder.
Select Passwords on the left.
Type Facebook in the search field on the right then right or control click the Facebook keychain then click: Get Inf then select the Attributes tab.
Click Show Password:
You may be prompted for your admin password to proceed.
Do the same for your email and dropbox accounts. -
Accidentally Deleted the Mail Icon on IMac
I accidentally deleted the Mail icon on my IMac. I can't find it in "Applications" folder either, so maybe I deleted something more serious?!
How do I reinstall the mail icon or find the application in my system?
Thanks.Perform a custom install from the Mac OS X 10.4 disk and install only that component if possible; if not, use Pacifist to install it. In either case, run the combo updater for your Mac OS X version afterward.

My hard drive crashed on my Mac Book Pro and I just had it replaced yesterday. After restoring my data, Safari will not open. The error message I continue to receive is "Safari quit unexpectedly" Should I just delete the application and download a new one?

I accidentally deleted an Application on my iphone 5 and with it lost important files. How do i get back these files. The last iphone backup sync was after this so I cant even access an older back up as I cannot find them. How do I get back my Lost files.
On your iMac launch iTunes and at the top next to the Apple symbol click iTunes > Preferences > Devices and tell me what you see. You last sync should be there showing only a device name. If you have an older backup it will be there as well the difference is it will be the device name with a date and time stamp. Sync and backups are two different things and there is a chance iTunes made a backup the first time you hooked up your iPhone 5.

I have accidentally deleted the trash bin in my mailbox and can no longer move any deleted mail into the trash. I thought I was removing all the emails from the trash bin but somehow managed to delete the bin instead. Does anyone know who to reinstate the bin?
You are running 10.6.8? If yes, I assume you have your install disks? As the trash bin is part of Mail app and that is an integral part of the OS, the only way I know to get it back is to reinstall the OS. You won't lose any files, just reinstall the OS over the top of the current system.

I can see the Safari icon on my iPhone screen, but the program doesn't run. I have checked the settings and it is on and not restricted. It seems that the application has simply stopped running. The little "searching" icon just spins and spins. Can I delete the application and reinstall it?
You can't delete it. you will need to do a restore.

Is SubmitForm java function support in iOS Reader?
We have a form that uses the SubmitForm command in iOS. We are using the submit to upload the form to a website. This works well using the Reader on Windows platform, but not on the iOS device. No action occurs when the Submit button is clicked.
