I accidentally deleted the iPhoto app?

I was trying to get my iphoto library onto an external drive i think its called? and then i thought i did it so i moved iphoto into the trash and emptied it and now iphoto is gone and in the app store it says its instaled and i cant find it anywhere help me please

2 - the iLife DVD that you purchased
or
3 - the app store - log in under the Apple id used to purchase the software or to set up the computer - look under purchases - you might have to unhide or accept the Application first

Another way is to open your Time Machine back up or clone (if you have one) and copy the App Store app from the /Applications to your Macintosh HD's /Application folder.
Right click on the Time Machine icon in the Menu Bar.
Select Enter Time Machine; then navigate to a date you know it was still there and copy if from the /Applications folder.

Settings -> general -> Restrictions -> Installing Apps
if that is showing as unrestricted try a restart (hold power key (top right) until "Slide to power off appears then slide to power it off... then restart with power key)

You can't delete the Calendar App. Do a search for Calendar in to iPhone search screen (before the first App screen). You may have placed it in a folder or moved it to another screen.
If you have problems you can use Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

its pretty much as easy as the question in the title bar, my fiancee has deleted iphoto by accident.
I didnt get any disk with the computer when i got it (its a macbook - the white model, ive had it nearly 2 years) and i know this for sure because the box and all enclosed papers are in my home office, ive checked through and looked online and found something about a download code that some people get if the software is already on the computer... i dont know how true it is, but then again I dont seem to have a code either.
If anyone has a clue please let me know - in all honesty I really like this app and I hate the idea that I may not get it again just because of something silly like an accidental deletion when i've essentially paid for the product in the cost of the macbook.
Sorry to get long winded on you all but there it is - hope someone can help me - and if ive posted anything to the wrong place im sorry! be gentle folks, its my first time on the community boards!

What system did the Mac come with and what system are you running now? If it's 2 years old, i.e. bought in 2010 then it came with Leaport or Snow Leopard installed and would have had install disks. Included in those disk would be a disk similar to one of these:
That would have included iPhoto 8 (09) if bought before October 20, 2010 or iPhoto 9 (11) if bought after that date. In either case you should have a disk like in the screenshot. If not then you'll have to purchase an iLIfe 11 boxed disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11 and install your missing applications from it and then apply the latest updaters from the Apple Downloads web page/

I have lost my photos and was looking for them on my laptop. I'm not sure what happened... but now I do not have my IPhoto application either. I looked in trash but have not found it. Now I have two problems: no app and no photos too.

You can reinstall the app.
If your iPhoto library still exists in ~/Pictures then you have not lost anything. Just reinstall the iPhoto. If you don't have a disc it should be available in the iTunes store (Click Purchased in the Quick Links section on the right)
You can also do a Spotlight search for iPhoto just to make sure you didn't move it accidentally.

Accidentally deleted the photos app icon from my iPhone 4s.

I've read the previous threads on this topic but none quite fit the bill. I need to re-install the Photos icon, which has disappeared.
This happened while I was holding my phone but not paying attention; when I looked again the icons were all shaking. I don't know how the icon disappeared because the factory defaults don't offer a delete option, but the icon definately disappeared at that time.
The app itself is still there and, because it was running when I deleted the icon, I can currently still access it by double clicking the main button, where app (and icon) is still accessible there at the bottom of the screen. But this is not convenient for general usage, and if I hard close the app from there then I will have no way to open the Photos app.
I can't re-download the app because it is a factory default app and not available anywhere (and as such shouldnt be deletable!).
The icon isnt hiding anywhere amongst my subfolders, and I've checked for restrictions but there arent any.
Restetting the home screen layout to factory defaults presumably means I will lose all the other app icons I have, and their sub folders etc, which I dont want to do either.
I have now backed up my phone and all my photos etc, but if I restore my phone from a previous backup, I will lose the data and messages I've acquired isince then.
All I want to do is re-install the icon and make sure it links to the photos app that is still installed - surley that can't be so hard?

I don't have a Mac and run Windows 7 on a Sony VAIO. All versions of iTunes and IoS are up to date.

PROBLEM SOLVED
ANSWER The exact same thing happened to me today. I accidently deleted my Photo app (with over a 1000 photos in it) but I could still access it by pressing the home button twice. This is because it was with the background running apps (when you press the home button twice it shows all the apps running in the background) but it would not let me drag it to the Home screen.
Well so I was anxiously reading this thread at church to see what to do (I did a search for, 'I accidently deleted my Photo app' and how I came across this thread). Anyway, I searched all my subfolders and everywhere IT WAS NOT IN ANOTHER FOLDER AND THE PHOTO ICON WAS COMPLETELY GONE FROM ANY OF THE DESKTOPS.
Anyway, my phone was dying and no way to charge it so it died at church and so I connected it to my car charger in my car when leaving church and after the iphone came on again, there was the Photo App on my desktop!
So my advice is to let it completely run out of it's charge then later plug into a charger. I have the iPhone 4S going on almost 2yrs now and this is the first time this has happened to me! I was in a hurry getting ready for church and pressed it accidently so I know exactly when it happened (when all the apps have x's and you can delete them ...).
I always delete the backgound running apps to save battery power but I thought now I can never delete the Photo background running app or will lose everything! Hope this works for you all. I know I can connect it to my desktop and all but try this first - much easier...
