Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content.

Same thing happened with my iPhone 4S - no one is any help. Thanks Apple for such a crappy update! I've called Apple, they say the SIM card needs replacing, I go to my service provider they tell me nothing wrong with the SIM card - provider tells me I now need a new phone. Sheesh! Start by checking if your macBook can run Snow Leopard:

Thanks for replying Larry. Takes a while, but I can see them in Bridge. I have to say that I'm not happy with this though. If I'm working with 10 or 20 or 30 ai files on my desktop, I really want to be able to see them easy as pie. Everything seemed fine in Adobe CC 2014.... but not since this 18.1.1 Sure hope this is just a bug that will soon be fixed! (And if it is a bug, how do I report it and/or get it fixed)? Just make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer, also try restarting the iPad by hold down the on/off and the home button until your see the Apple logo. As a final troubleshooting step, put your iPad in recovery mode.
