It is possible the disc is defective. Can you read the contents of the disc? If you are unable to find a file that resembles an executable for the type of system you own, then you should contact support to confirm that your discs are faulty and they can probably point you in the right direction for obtaining new discs.

It's a 64 bit and this is the message I keep getting when I try to install:
*This installer does not support installation on a 64-bit windows operating
system. If you are installing by browsing through the disk content then
please run the setup.exe from the folder “Adobe Premiere Elements 12/PRE
64”. If you are not installing from the disks please download the 64-bit
version of Premiere Elements 12.*
The Adobe folder on my computer has downloads for both 32 bit and 64 bit,
both of which I tried...any suggestions?

Why is the upgrade for Adobe Photoshop and Premiere elements more expensive than just buying them?

I currently have Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12 installed on my mac and when I go to upgrade to 13 the price increases from just buying the two because of the sale. Can I just buy them for the cheaper price and uninstall the current version? ..or do I have to upgrade and pay more money?

I don't want to have several full versions! I wanted just to upgrade it.
Whether you buy one "full" version and upgrade it several times or buy several "full" versions, after installation, the end result on your hard drive is exactly the same.
The only difference between upgrade and "full" is the price you pay at the time of upgrading.
If the "full" version happens to be cheaper than the upgrade then buy the "full" version. Nothing lost. Nothing gained.
A "full" version actually makes your life easier since you only need to enter one serial number if you ever need to re-install. With an upgrade, you have to enter the upgrade serial number plus the earlier version qualifying serial number - people often lose the previous version serial number.

Instillation of adobe photoshop and premiere elements 10

I just purchased the combined package of adobe photoshop and adobe premiere elements 10 and installed it on my laptop. I have windows 7 and a 64 bit processor on my laptop. By mistake I started in installitaion with disc 1 which is for windows, instewad of disk 2 which is for windows 7 and a 64 bit processor. When I insert disc 2, it says it will uninstall adobe. My question is if I start with disc 2 and unstall what is already on there, will I lose all of the photos I have stored, or will it simply unstall the windows version which was wrong for the laprop, reinstall the correct verson for windows 7, and keep all of the photos? Help and thanks.

of course only the program files will be deinstalled.
Your photos will stay in place and are ready to be used as soon you installed the correct version.

Cannot install Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 10

I am trying to load a new purchase of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe Premiere elements 10 on a new computer operating with Windows 7 32 bit operating system. The computer does not recognize the Instalation Disk and trouble shooting Microsoft says Disk burned with unknown Format. The same disk will read on an old Windows XP computer. This is a first time trying to load software. Any help with this problem???

I've just bought this program, and am trying to install it on my computer for the first time, but am getting an error when I try to play the Autorun.
Then when I click "OK", I get an unreponsive screen:
Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Lets give some time for the DVD to load and then click on open folder and run the setup.exe.

Contractually, the license allows you to install it on just two computers, as specified in paragraph 2.4. PSE 6 doesn't enforce that provision programmatically as many Adobe products do (including PSE 8), so you could install it on 200 computers, if you wanted to violate the terms of the license agreement.

I bought Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements about a year ago and my primary computer crashed recently. I tried installing it onto my new computer and it wouldn't work. Is there a way I can download without having to pay for it over again?

If I were you I would first make sure CS6 was deactivated or signed-out. Then download Adobe's cleaner and remove cc, CS6 and any other creative application installed including Creative Cloud desktop application. Then install CS6 and use your CS6 serial number during the install to activate CS6 standard or extended which ever the serial number is for. CS6 Version 13.0 should the be activated. That level of CS6 is extremely bug ridden so be sure to the use CS6 menu Help>Updates to get CS6 updates. Windows should update to version 13.0.1.3 Mac to version 13.0.6. Not Subscription CS6 version 13.1.2...
