...now it won't come off. What do I do? If I open it in iTunes and try to hit the delete button, it won't work.

Go to Settings>Wallpaper. Choose the wallpaper that you desire.

if you have an 8 gig 3g, you can't, as it is not supported. otherwise it would be an option after you select the photo you want as the background. it would ask you to set lock screen, home screen or both.

Scroll to the Facebook icon, don't click on it, but scroll to it.
Press the Menu key > Move to Folder > Homescreen.
Now, on your homescreen, scroll to it again > Menu key > Move and scroll it up to where you WANT it to reside on the homescreen and click on it to put it there.

I'm trying use picture for my home screen and when I move it to scale it won't stay how do I make it stay

Unfortunately that seems to be a known bug. And something we have to wait for APple to fix. THere are other threads on the same topic and some people have work arounds so you might want to poke around in the 'more like this' on the right.

Why the photo app is not closing after i finish, when i take a picture accessing directly from home screen. the location is draining my battery if I'm not closing the app by double click home button. in iOS 6 was not like this

When im taking a picture directly from home screen after im finished the application remain open. This app is ussing the location and if im not closing like other applications by doble click the home button the batery will finished fast. On the other IOS 5 and 6 was not neccesary to unblock the phone and bouble click the home bottom.

Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Pictures won't save to home screen.

I just upgraded from an 8310 to an 8320. I moved all my applications and everything over to the new BB with the BB Device Manager. Now I can't save any of my pictures as my home screen. I have tried using different pictures and taking new pictures and can't save any of them. HELP please !

Ditto, try a different theme.
When you say you can't save your pictures a wallpaper, do you mean the choice to make the image your wallpaper is not there, or it is available, and nothing happens?

How do you scale a picture on the ipad for the home screen?

How do you re-size a picture for the home screen? It shows a message "move and scale" but nothing happens. I pinch and re-size and then it just goes back.

Once you take a photo w/ your camera it should save the photo in your photos. You then have a few options. You an MMS or email the photo to yourself if then you can upload. Websites like facebook you can upload from your camera roll on your iphone. I supposed it really depends on the website.

Small question :
Can I have the next metting or next event from my calendar appear on the home screen.
From now, I just have the next event for the current day, not for the seven next days (before this nokia I had à WM phone and I can read the next event on the home screen for the next 7 days, it was very fine).
I did't found any parameter on the phone or any idea on the forum

I finally found someone looking for the same thing I was looking for, to put calender events on my home screen. lemartien (above quote) seemed to have found how to do it. I have Iphone5, and I know that the person had a different iphone because it was a few years ago.
Can anyone tell me how to get the iphone, or any other calender to show the weeks appointments or events to show on the home screen? Now, you have to open the calender to look at them. If I could remember to that, why would I need to set up reminders or calender events. Androids are set up to show google calender on the home screen, why can't iphone do the same. Anyway, I need help PLEASE!

IPod Touch 2gen iOS 4 Can't change home screen wallpaper

I just updated my iPod Touch 2 generation to iOS 4 and I was excited about changing the home screen wallpaper, but when i went to change it, that option wasn't there. Is there some reason this feature is not available on the iPod Touch (or mine at least)? I am confused and disappointed..

You never could change the background... At least, I never could!
You can change the picture for the "home" screen, unless I'm mistaken. This is the screen you see when you click on the iPod waking it from stand-by. You'll see the "slide to unlock" slider, and your image in the background, but that's it!
Now, here's the "thing"... Granted, I've not been using it for a couple of months, so correct me if I'm wrong. Behind all the icons, the background had the typical "space" image. Dark, with red gassy clusters and stars... The same default image from OS X. Or, maybe I'm going crazy, and it's always been solid black.
After I ran the update, I did the same thing as everyone else... Tried to set my background, only to find it isn't supported on the 2g. I was surprised to find it solid black though. Were did my star picture go?
So, please let me know if I'm imagining the old starry background was there, or if the update has sucked it away to blackness.
(Otherwise, folders are good... That is all.)

Kit Kat 4.4 OS Home Screen default?

I have a Droid Maxx with OS 4.4 Kit Kat. I'm trying to get it to default to a home screen or desktop. When the phone is initially turned on, or activated from sleep it will go to the home screen. Which will display 3 widgets and several app icons. However when you go to anything, perhaps email for instance, and then close out. It will then go to a blank screen. By that I mean, desktop will just show wallpaper, and nothing else. Then you have to swipe sideways to get to the desktop home screen.
I'm trying to get it just to return to desktop without having to swipe back and forth. No luck so far, a friend and I spent an hour, and then searched the internet. So if anyone can offer any help it would be appreciated. Even if your're not 100% sure make a post, I'm stumped.
Also the this is not a complaint, the Droid Maxx is amazing, I'm just trying to learn the device, which can be fustrating Thanks

I will begin by saying I don't have the Droid Maxx, but I am familiar with Android devices, and the Android OS from ICS through to Kit Kat... so ....
Where does the phone go when you tap the Home button? A blank screen, or what you consider your "Home" screen? If it goes to the blank, then you haven't put the icons on the HOME screen, but on an alternate screen. I remove all the blank screens, since I only use a couple of screens for my go to apps. Press and hold a a spot on the home or a blank screen; your true home screen will give you thumbnails of all screens with a home icon on one of them - THATs your home screen. Drag the apps and widgets you want to that screen...
What you see when the phone is turned on or activated from sleep is your LOCK screen - different than the HOME screen.

the web app would be saved as a book mark in the safari app. To get quick access to that web app create a special folder with all the web apps in it and youll get to them quickly. It should be said that any hack that offers an icon on the hompage is not supported by apple and will void our warranty. It will also likely brick your touch too.

Select all the photos that you need to change, then click the "Photos" menu and choose "Adjust Date and Time".
If you add a year, it will adjust all the photos that you selected by adding a year (so if you accidentally select one of the photos that already has "2012", that will change to "2013").

IPhoto Library accidentally put in the trash

My husband somehow accidentally put our iphoto library in the trash --don't ask, somehow it happened. The good news is that we haven't emptied the trash so the photos are still there, but I need to know where to move them. We had been getting this message: "Your iPhoto Library was not found. Do you want to find your library? iPhoto can't continue without Photo Library. Make sure disk containing your Photo Library is connected." It gave us the options of 'creating library', 'choosing library' or 'quit.' We just figured out that it was in the trash so now my question is where do we move the library to? I don't want to select 'choose library' and then have it retrieve from the trash since once day we will empty the trash. Where does the library belong? I'm not that computer savvy but I am a devoted iphoto user. Please let me know what's the best way to do this. Thank you very much.

Drag the entire iPhoto Library folder out of the trash and drag it in into your users Picture folder. Launch iPhoto and it should open the library just like nothing ever happened.

Choose Home from the Finder's Go menu and drag them back from there. If they included the Applications folder, press the Command and up arrow keys simultaneously twice after that.
