I accidentally removed the applications folder from my dock - how do I get it back?
PS I tried dragging it back to the dock to the right and the left sides, and nothing shows up - it acts as if I didn't drag anything at all.

If you accidentally delete the Apllication icon on your dock, how do you add it back there???
You click on the hard disk in the Finder's sidebar and drag it back from there. In recent Mac OS X versions, you can also drag it there directly from the sidebar.

I've lost the application folder from Favorites. How do I get it back?
I've somehow lost the application folder which should be located in Finder - left hand side under Favorites. I can do a search and find a specific application located on the hard drive - so I haven't deleted them. But I want the Application folder with the different applications back in Finder. I'm kind of hesitant about starting a search in areas I know nothing about. Can anyone help?
Hi JanMP,
The sidebar in a Finder window can be easily modified, so it's possible that the Applications folder may have been accidentally dragged out of it. You should be able to drag it back on from its current location (Macintosh HD > Applications), as outlined in the following article:
OS X Yosemite: Customize the Finder toolbar and sidebar

I accidentally removed/deleted the Printer icon from my dock - how can I get it back?
I accidentally removed/deleted the Printer icon from my dock - how can I get it back? I've tried dragging and dropping from the Print window - no luck. I tried to drag from the Systems folder - no luck. IOS 10.9.4
Well I have always had a printer icon in the Dock, launched or not launched (as in the screen shot below,) right next to the scan icon. Neither of which are launched at the present time.
What happens if you run a print job, control click the printer icon>Options>Keep in Dock

TS4036 I accidentally removed my iPhone device from icloud backup, how do I get it back
I was trying to clean up my backup as a message told me I was getting close to full. I accidentally removed my iPhone off iCloud backup. Can someone tell me how to get it back on please
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, turn iCloud Backup to On to start backing up to iCloud again. If your device isn't listed under Backups, you don't have one. To see it listed again, create an iCloud backup, either by connect to your charger and wifi, locking the screen and waiting; or by tapping Back Up Now.

Well I was experimenting with stuff and then I tried something and then it removed them I have searched everywhere in the options but now I don't know where else to go can anyone help? :(
Thanks, that gets me so far. Following entering about:config, I get the usual page of links to various sites including links to browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion but clicking on these links just opens a website which doesn't help because no website gives any opportunity to double click on anything and change its value. How do I get browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion in a form where I can change its value?

I accidentally removed my Downloads Folder from my Dock. How do I get it back? Thank you.
Charlie,
Thank you. Much appreciated. I do have an additional question... when I tried to follow your folloiwng guidance..
"One way to go to your home folder is to select "Got to Folder..." in the Finder Go menu and enter a tilde (~), then press return."
I couldn't make it work no matter how I entered it. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by the (~). I'm a novice as you can probably already tell. - Terry -

Notes application disappeared from my iMac, how do I get it back?
My notes application has disappeared from my iMac, how do I get it back?
If you don't find it: start the iMac while holding the Alt(option) key: you get the EFI menu, choose the recovery disk, reinstall Lion: this leaves the user data untouched. But as always: backup.
It will restore the system apps also. -
when i connect my iphone to itunes, on the left hand side when my device shows up..i click the down arrow and the ringtones folder is not there....so i cant add custom ring tones...how do i get it back?
Apparently it does need to be restored because that is what it is requesting. You will need to restore it as New or from a recent backup if you made one.

I accidentally erased a text message from my iPhone, how can I get it back
I Accidentally erased a text message from my iPhone 5; can I get it back
If you backed that message up before you deleted it you can Restore from your backup. If not it is gone, but if you just need some information from it you might try a spotlight search for a keyword in the text.

I lost icloud icon from MS Outlook on my laptop. How do I get it back so I can sync contacts, etc?
Hey warren1!
You may want to check to make sure you have the iCloud Control Panel for Windows installed on your computer:
iCloud Control Panel 3.1 for Windows
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1455
If it is installed, but is an older version or is having issues, you may want to uninstall the program, then reinstall the latest version. Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Have a good one!

I accidentally deleted the 'Drafts' button in Mail. How do I get it back?
The Drafts option is usually listed next to the 'Flagged' option, along with the buttons saying 'Hide,' 'Inbox,' and 'Sent.' I, on accident, click and dragged it away and then, POOF!
How can I get it back??It should show automatically if you have drafts. If you don't have any drafts, it won't show.
Try creating anew message to send and then hit command-S to save it, and it should show up. -
