Hit the ''Alt'' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark.

when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number. were you?
if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3. copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC

It should be in your TC backup. If not, you will need to Reinstall OS X
Note that with Mavericks, you need to go to: /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/Network Utility.app

HP Officejet Pro 8500A can't uninstall using disk and need to re-install daily in order to print

I have the disk that came with the printer, but there is no uninstall folder or .bat file.
I can uninstall from the menu, but the next day I have to re-install the drivers to get the laptop to talk tot he printer.
My son's netbook is having the sam issues.
Any help is appreciated.

Please clarify what you would like to achieve by uninstalling the printer software.
Some parts of the software are mandatory for basic operation of the product, you will not be able to print without the drivers installed.
If there are some specific software components you would like to remove it is also possible, but it may help to better understand your needs in order to provide you any possible option.

The Flash Player installer is a universal installer for both 32 and 64-bit systems. On a 64-bit OS, it installs both versions, on a 32-bit OS, it installs only the 32-bit version. I'm confused by why you think you only have the 32-bit version. Please provide more information, including screenshots (How to post a screenshot in the forum) so that we may further troubleshoot your situation.

after fixing a ibook G3 Clamshell, i've been longing for the simpler days when OS 9 was the best you could own.
so i'm posting this same question in all discussion that apply.
i'm currently using a eMac usb 2.0 running OSX 10.4.11/OS 9.2.2 and its great but i still love the feel of OS 9 its self.
so now i'm asking you guy for help tracking down the best G3 Mac Desktop in here and in various G3 laptops in their discussions.

A 14-inch model came out at the same time, but I would stick to the 12-incher because it's a bit easier to find parts for the (less rare) 12-inch model.
I would not buy any used Mac which did not include the original system discs that came with it when it was new. Also good to have would be the upgrade disc(s) for any software upgrades which have been installed.

HT201250 I accidentally excluded the disk in time machine and need to bring it back

I got a new hard drive. Time machine wasn't registering it. Realized I needed to install the new External Harddrive software and did. Opened time machine back up and it would never let me choose the new disk (External Hard Drive) so I excluded it from time machine thinking I can "Include" it again to get time machine to register and allow me to choose it. Now Im stuck with a new hard drive and no way to use it. How can I get it back so I can use it!!!!????

Just got hold of a used Powerbook 15" notebook and need advices

Hello all and my first time in here
I'm an Engineer by trade and I know pretty much everything to do with Windows, Unix and Linux. Now, I like to get under the hood and get my hands dirty with Apple.
I just got hold of a used Powerbook 15" 550 MHz with 512MB and the version on it is 10.1.1. I know that the last FREE upgrade is version 10.1.5.
I like to install Jaguar version 10.2 and I know I can go either by upgrade or full install.
Is there a great step-by-step tutorial, visual guide on how to reset (format), install the OS and etc? You know... the basics.

Help with Re-installing an app through app manager after after accidental uninstalled?

Okay - I've purchased lightroom 4, with the intent to upgrade my creative suite from 5.5 to 6 a week or so ago... Adobe was kind enough to credit me back as at time of upgrade, CS6 was no longer available and lightroom 4 would have been included in my CC membership.
I've installed all the CC apps, and received a weird german email about LR4 intalls... So I uninstalled my current copy of LR4 and went to re-install from the CC app manager... It says that it is already installed and won't let me download it from the site... The trouble is that it isn't really installed anymore, and now I really need to use it... Any help would certainly be appreicated.

If you are using Windows Mahcine then go to control panel and uninstall the lightroom properly from there.
If you are using MAC then go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe installers and find the uninstaller of lightroom and double click the same to uninstall.
If still you are not able to uninstall the application completly then use CS cleaner tool to uninstall the software. you can download CS cleaner tool from : http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
