I accidentally zoomed in and now I run into a bigger problem.

okay here's how it started I came home and accidentally magnified a old laptop desktop runing Snow Leopard that I've been using and have quite a bit of information on. I should have done my research beforehand because then I panicked and turned off the Macbook pro and put in the install CD for Snow Leopard. Now its stuck on a the background screen that looks like install the a os or login screen but not really sure.I'm not able to login or anything can't see any icons is there a easy fix for this please help I'll be greatly appreciated. I can see the mouse and I'm able to move it around but that it.should I go to my local Apple Store and see what they can do because I don't wanna lose any information if anyone can help me just on here I make worth your.

Can I just call the support network of AppleCare or something and get help immediately for this if its an easy fix. I really need to get back to my work it's really unfortunate that it happened if I just didn't panic I'll probably would have saved a whole lot of headache thank you for all the people that are able to help in advance I am very nice person and but not rich so that why using a old mac someone give me back 2008.

Hello, today I was using skype and my internet connection dropped for a while, and my skype stopped working, then my entire pc crashed ( since skype use lots of ram ), So after 30 minutes of crashed pc I managed to cut the power off so I can restart it, but now my PC is running into BSOD when windows startup process is finished.
This IS a problem related to skype because it's not the first time it happens, and only happens when skype crashes. Also my skype keeps crashing when I or someone sends a image ( since skype tries to show it on the chat while download or uploading ).

Reboot your computer in Safe Mode. Open Windows System Configuration tool (msconfig.exe) -> Startup tab. Uncheck Skype from startup option.
Reboot in normal mode.and run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit option).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.

This happened because if Mail.app was moved from /Applications or placed in a sub-folder there, the update (Security Update 2012-004) couldn't find it and fails for writing new files to Mail. This update updates Mail 4.5 to 4.6, consequently the message that 4.5 is incompatible, since it's looking at the now "old" 4.5 version. Basically, make sure Mail.app is in the Applications folder inside the Macintosh HD folder, and sitting by itself not in an enclosing folder. Then get the update from Apple Downloads and run that again.

Why do we run into stupid basic problems with firefox?

I have jre1.6_u31 installed on a Windows 7 and the brilliant
firefox keep tell me that I've to install the jre_1.6_u29 missing plugin when I try to run an applet...a simple applet!! The plugin doesn't appear on add-ons manager then i use "check your plugins" and the stupid response is: "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please upgrade to the latest version."
Running an applet is basic! Why are u making new versions when older ones are better? I' m sick of running into this stupid problems with firefox! Everything works on ie, chrome and safari but not on Firefox!

I've tried numerous times at resetting it, holding the home and sleep/wake button until it resets, with no luck. The Wi-Fi isn't even connecting. Try the following but you likely have a hardware problem:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have accidentally deleted iPhoto app and now i am left with blank photos and blank events in my iphoto.
I tried eveything. Ranging from removing the pplist, installing, Iphoto Library manager but it seems to get worse.
i have the original package content
and this is how my iphoto library icon looks like.
And when i try to drop my original content package into the new iphoto, it will show an error message.
Kindly tell me what else can i do?

I had photoshop and a bunch of other programs tried to free up memory. Got another external hard drive and now ca't reinstall it. Keeps taking me back to the download page and when I hit download nothing happens.

I got round the situation by making a second user on my computer. That user synched my new shuffle, the first user synched my iPod.
Then my external drive, on which all my iTunes were stored, failed. Then my computer started dying, then my printer died, and now I have a new Mac. I can't get that online because my ISP forgot to send me a router when they said they would.
So now I have 3000 songs on my iPod and will have to get them off it and onto my new Mac iTunes when I get online, next week.
