I accidently chose to reset my settings and don't know how to restore it to before. I was trying to get rid of something and resetting the settings would solve problem but I have just made everything worse. Can anyone help me?

Now I'm in trouble.
I was working last year with a MacBookPro and FCPX.
Everything nice and well.
I dediced to upgrade to MacPro, so I did a "backup" of all my Events and Projects folders of the MacBook Pro, and waited for the MacPro arrival...
Now when the MacPro downloaded the software, it has a newer FCP version and I don't know how to restore my old projects.
Could somebody help me to know where to restore my old projects and events? (it was a lot of job done to loose it now).

Don't worry. It is more than worthy to upgrade to the new FCP X 10.1.1.
Plus, the process of updating your projects and events to the new version, which uses libraries, is pretty straightforward.

I have a clickfree backup drive and don't know how to restore my previous bookmarks? I tried to copy the places.sqlite file from the backup drive to my compute

I have a clickfree backup drive and my computer crashed. I restored it to factory settings and reinstalled Firefox but cannot figure out how to get my old bookmarks back. I tried to replace the new places.sqlite file with the one I had on my backup drive but still got nothing? I tried to use the restore option but it won't take the old places.sqlite file. Is there anyway to get my old bookmarks? I'm really not a techy person.....

I recently was asked by I tunes to restore my iphone I guess it had developed an error.Then I accidently selected that it restore to a back up of my partners phone.I was wondering if I could restore it to a back up of my phone done earier this year.
I also want to move it from syncing with our shared computer to syncing with my lap top.
I would appreciate insturtions on how to do these 2 things.

I was having trouble getting my Messages app to open, and so used AppCleaner to delete it, thinking I could just re-download it. I can't find a way to re-download it, so I'm currently stuck without the app. Any suggestions to get it back? I'm running the latest version of Mountain Lion.

Choose Reinstall OS X. This will be an install "in place" and shouldn't effect any of your own data or settings.

Do you still have the Premiere Elements 7 icon displaying on the computer desktop?
If you double click the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file, does the program open for you?

If that does not work, the right click that file, select Run As Administrator, and try again.
Do you have the purchased serial number and an installation disc?
Assuming that you still have the desktop icon for the program, how far do you get if you double click that icon?
1. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer?
2. Are you running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges?
3. Do you have this problem with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?

YOu can also use Bluefire Reader for reading books that need an Adobe ID. There are several ways to transfer a book to your iPad. One way is to email the acsm file, open the email on the iPad, and "Open in ... ". Another way is to use an app like Dropbox. The third way is to connect your iPad to your computer, open iTunes, select the iPad, and under Settings select Apps. Scroll down to the File Sharing apps, select the app you want the book on, on the right select Add, navigate to where the book is on your computer, and select it. Open the app on your iPad and it should load.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

After downloading it have you installed it ?
If you are on Windows run the .exe file to install it and if on a MAC run the .dmg file to install the program.
If you have already installed it, then on Windows click on 'Start' button > Go to 'All Programs' and select the application you want to launch from the CS6 Suite.
If on a MAC the program is listed under 'Applications'
