When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? Click the Finder icon in the Dock to launch it.
Open the Application folder and find the Launchpad application.
Drag it to the Dock.

I was looking for a way to put the bookmark in the correct category. Right clicked and then I think I clicked an option labelled "menu" but I am not sure because at that point the dialog closed and the blue star is no more.
I can find no instructions for using the new customization options mentioned in stories about 29.

Just go to Menu bar (Press F10 or Alt to unhide) now go to '''View''' >> '''Toolbars''' >> '''Customize''' >> look at right, look for bookmarks icon, drag it and drop in the toolbar.

Smart Menu: I accidentally uninstalled this. How do I get it back?

I was uninstalling some malware which had piggy backed its way into my computer. I believe this is what gave me a gear shaped symbol in my lower left hand corner providing easy access to my documents, systems, etc. I would like it back. I located what I thought was the program on the internet and twice tried to reinstall it, but no luck.

Most programs and drivers can be reinstalled using HP Recovery Manager in your Start menu.

I need to get the Firefox bar back in order to use favorites, etc. It was running in the background at the top of my homepage and I clicked on full screen and now have just my home page when I open with no access to tools, favorites, etc. What do I need to do to get it back?

When I click on itunes it pulls up an apple player. How do I get it back to itunes.

Yesterday I was using ITunes just fine on my school computer. Today when I turned it on and clicked on Itunes it pulled up a apple mini player. I X it out and tried again from the program list. It pulled up the apple player again, no itunes. Where is Itunes? It is gone? How do I get it to open? I am a music teacher and this is a major problem for me!

Thanks for the question. It sounds like iTunes is opening up to the mini player. To exit out of the mini player, simply click the “Switch from Mini Player” button (the square button below the close button):

You can also expand the MiniPlayer to an album artwork tile. When you move the pointer over the artwork, controls and song information appear.

Lost refresh icon on toolbar after recent update. How do I get it back?

I have always had a refresh page icon on the toolbar of every Mac I've owned. Several updates ago it disappeared after update & I can't figure out where it went or how to reinstate it. Was it an original addon? I've looked in apple menu but don't find it anywhere. Can you help?

Firefox 4 and later use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end of the location bar. 
During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button. 
If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button. 
Middle-click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab to a new tab.
To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
* If the menu bar is hidden on Windows or Linux use "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise (Space or Separator) to get two distinct buttons.

I have just upgraded from 2.0.20 to 3.6.8. The contents of my bookmarks toolbar folder have disappeared. How do I get them back?

1) The upgrade has not created a new profile. I still have only one.
2) I appear to have kept my cookies OK.
3) I have somehow managed to retrieve the old bookmarks list, though I can't remember how I managed this and can no longer find the instructions. What I have lost is the contents of the bookmarks toolbar, which is most important to me. My bookmarks.html file is still present and intact.
4)I have decided, at least for now to revert to Firefox 2. I had the sense to keep a copy of the setup file!

It is possible that the imported Bookmarks Toolbar bookmark folder shows as a folder in the Bookmarks Menu folder. 
If that is the case then you can move (Cut & Paste) those bookmarks to the regular Bookmarks Toolbar folder.

I've lost my firefox menu box in the left corner how do I get it back

This is rediculous I cannot get the damned firefox menu box back that was in the left corner and i now have desktop shadows on the top of my screen this the third time it has happened and I cannot recall what I did to cause it .You need a telephone contact number as i get no real help from this damned little box I'm typing in I cannot even get to my email now I've restored my computer 3 times to try and get back to somewhere i know I had it nicely set up once and lost everything now I've got most visited,getting started and latest headlines an address line toolbar and desktop shadows Will some on help or do I just use another browser as firefox is for nerds only and I' just an ignorant user.

Now that they're gone, right clicking does not bring up an option to re-enable them.
By "command bar" I mean the edit box where you enter a new website. Maybe it's called the address bar.
