I accidently deleted a folder on my storage card. Can it be recovered?

I have the new (Sprint) Treo 800w. I accidently deleted a folder on my storage card. Is there a trash can on the phone? I tried to recovery in the active sync folder, however it only shows item that are on the device. Is there anyway I can recovery the missing items??

Hello!
Unfortunately there is no trash bin on windows mobile devices, mostly due to limitations of memory. Best thing is go into menu/edit/ and select undo right after the action.

Hi,
When you use indexing service, the service create .ci files. The files are content index files on the server. As long as the service is not running you should not encounter any problems if you delete the folder.

I have Traktor 2 and accidently deleted the folder which links it with the itunes library, an way to fix it?

I use traktor scratch pro 2 for djaying and i accidently deleted the 'my music' folder which links traktor with itunes while i was deleting things to have more space in the hard drive. I didn't realise it had that function. I can still play music on traktor but if i buy or download new music i have to look for it and then add it. Anyone know if there's a way to fix it???

Accidently deleted all files on internal storage and synced new files to internal storage

I was setting up FolderSync to sync some folders to my phones internal storage. My mistake was to choose the root of the internal storage, which deleted all files files and synced the folders to the internal storage. I've tried to factory reset the phone, to recreate folders and files originally placed on the internal storage, but no luck. I've only used the phone a couple of days, and didn't wanna spend time on trying to recover folders/files, since I guessed that syncinf files to internal storage would damage the "old" files anyway. Is it possible to recreate the internal storage to the state when I first used the phone? For example the demo videos and sample pictures don't reappear when I do a factory reset (also placing the tick for deleting the internal storage).

After doing full factory reset your phone will be clean and ready to use with root folder recreated. But... demo videos and sample pictures are not part of firmware. It is region dependent content available only until phone is factory cleaned or user deletes them.
So to recover those files you need to find other user with the same phone as yours and kindly ask him to share those files with you (if sharing such files is legal in your country).

I accidently imported a photo and thought I deleted it but instead I deleted a whole photo album of almost 1000 pictures. I really need to get it back and I'm stressing out about it.

Deleting from albums does just that. The photos are still in the event(s)
Try command z to undo. But I don't think it works there
You can load your back from just before you made the error (that is why you must always have good, current backups. Things happen)

If you are using IMAP, Google may still have the items in their trash folder. Also, if there is an 'All Mail' folder, look there too.
If you are using POP, you might still have the messages in your mail trash if you didn't opt to empty trash on exit.

I accidently deleted iphotos in trash (stupid!). Can I recover?

I attempted to transfer all of my photos stored in iPhoto over to an external hard drive. Thinking that the photos were on the external drive (I checked twice to make sure), I put the iphoto file in the trash and the "emptied the trash". Then when I went back to the external drive, the photos weren't there.
There was a file called iPhoto Library in the Trash that I dragged back over to Finder, but when I click on it it says that it is still in the Trash. I noticed that it is about 587 megabits in size, but since this event, my internal hard drive suddenly has an additional 15 gigabits of free space. There were a lot of pictures. The big question is: do I have any chance at all of recovering some of theses deleted photos that may be hidden deep in some archive?

Find the book in iTunes and <right-click> select Get Info, [Options] selet media kind and select "audiobook" from the list.

How do I make a junk folder to replace the one I accidently deleted?

I was having trouble with an undeletable, "ghost" e-mail in one of my junk folders, and the folder itself was uneditable. In the process of following all the advice from my Mac users group (resets, rebuilds, user library, preferences, etc.) I accidently deleted the offending folder. How do I make a new one? The junk mail folders in my other accounts are working fine, but now any junk that comes in for the deleted folder "disappears" (and it's not in my user library folder.) Weird...

Well, halleluyah, my accidently deleted junk folder is back and empty!
Once I got an unwanted email that was addressed correctly with my real mailbox name, I manually labeled it junk and then the mailbox reappeared itself. (D'uh!)
So: if anyone else has an invisible junk email in an empty junk folder that says '1' email is in there and the "rebuild" command under "mailbox" drop down menu is greyed out, here's what finally worked:
Keep a (correctly addressed) junk email in your inbox. Delete the damaged junk folder. Close Mail. Shut down. Start up. Open Mail and select the junk email in the inbox. Label it as junk by using the drop down command on the emasil header bar. Ta Da! It will make a new junk folder with the e-mail address as a name and send itself there. You can then delete the junk email..I suggest using the drop down menu or right click the mouse.to do so.
If you don't have any junk emails to save, you'll end up having to do what I did...delete the junk folder and wait for a new email that can be labeled junk.
Hope this saves someone else some grief.

Hi, i recently purchased a laptop from toshiba*
I accidently deleted the folder on my 'data' drive via formating the drive.
I was told i needed that folder within the hard drive to create my recovery disk
Now that folder is gone.
Is there any way in which i can still CREATE the disk or DOWNLOAD/AQUIRE the folder to use for the recovery process to create disk ??
Without resorting to paying for a new disk - [ which costs nearly £30 !!

There is nothing you can do. Either you order new copy or use Microsoft installations DVD for clean OS installation.

I accidently deleted a few photos from IPHOTO, how can I retrieve them? For some reason, they never went to the TRASH folder in IPHOTO

This describes how to delete from a library. Check the Note at the bottom.
Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

The edited photo album is where the recipes for the edits you made are stored. The Edited folder is created and removed automatically by iPhoto for iOS. It will disappear when there are no edited photos.
If you want to remove the edited photos go to each photo and select revert to Original. That will delete the edited version. Once all edited photos have been Reversted to their original version, the Edited Photos album will disappear.
Of course the next time you edit a photo the album will return.
Note that the Edited Photos album only shows in iPhoto for iOS. It does not appear in the Photos app.
