I downloaded a audiobook and didn't know it had 2 parts And accidently deleted the first half, how can I get it back?
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so unless you copied it over to the Books part of your computer's iTunes library before you deleted it (in which case case you could sync it back to your phone), then you will need to try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download of it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

TS1702 I accidently deleted my IPod app, how can I get it back on my IPad?
How can I get the Icon back?
There's no way to delete the included apps (unless your iPad is jailbroken)... so it's on there, we've just got to bring it back to view. A few options:
Go to the search menu - slide your fingers along the screen to the right, and in the "search iPad" that appears type in "music" (the name of the 'ipod app') or the name of a song that's on your iPad, and see if selecting one of those brings it back.
Try doing a hard restart of your iPad: hold down the power and home buttons until the screen turns black and the apple icon appears.
It's also possible you dragged the music icon into a folder. :-) -
I lost my "recently added" file and can't get it back.
I lost my "recently added" folder and can't get it back.
If the "recently added" playlist is no longer visible under your lists of playlists, you can just make a new one and set it with the parameters below.
In iTunes, go to File, New Smart Playlist. In the dialog box that appears, change the settings to look like the one in the screen grab:
These are the exact settings from my default recently added smart playlist. Customize to your liking.
Hope that helps... -
I deleted my photo booth how can i get it back?
i deleted my photo booth how can i get it back?
OK, here are some step by step instructions:
1. Open a Finder window.
2. In the Finder window on the left side you will see a folder that says Applications. Click the folder.
3. Click the Time Machine icon in your Dock and wait for Time Machine to open.
4. On the right side of TM you will see a time line, click a date that you know the Application was still there and wait for TM to go to that date. You will see the date in the bottom center.
5. While in the Applications folder scroll down until you find Photo Booth and then click Restore in the bottom right.
At that point Photo Booth should be restored and working. If it isn't then make an appointment at your local Apple Store and take the machine in. They will help you restore the application. If you don't have an Apple Store in your area contact an AASP or call Apple Care for some help. -

Restore from your back up seems an obvious solution.

I just backed my iPhone up and now I have lost all of my recent info. How can I get it back to how it used to be
Did you fail to import your photos before updating? If so, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. If that fails then they are gone. You should regularly import photos to your computer, most especially before any update.
Did you fail to transfer any purchases on iphone ( that were not on your computer) to your computer before updating? If so, then you will have to redownload:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -

Accidently deleted 'recently downloaded' folder how to recover?
I accidently deleted my 'recently downloaded' or 'recently added' folder, and even though I have downloaded 2 new versions of itunes, have never gotten that folder back. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
Thank you! This is just a smart playlist and you can make a new one.
File>>New smart playlist
Mine is as follows:
Match following rule – unchecked
Limit to checked
Limit to 25 items selected by most recently added
Live updating checked.
But you could have something like
Match following rule checked
Date added is in the last 2 weeks
Limit to unchecked
Live updating checked -
I accidently deleted my "recently added" playlist. how do I get it back?
I'm very new to itunes and having trouble getting the hang of it.
I was trying to clean up some playlist files and was attempting to delete songs I didn't want or need. I hit shift-delete and all of sudden EVERYTHING disappeared. the songs I had purchased... stuff I had recently uploaded... everything.
I went to the recycle bin and hit "restore" in the hopes that things would come back, but no luck.
I was able to search my computer and get the songs I needed back, but it was quite frustrating. in addition, one of the things that disappeared that I wasn't able to retrieve was the "recently added" playlist, which was actually quite helpful to me.
I attempted to upload a new CD to see if it would recreate the "recently added" list, but no luck.
how do I get that back and make sure that future uploads are automatically saved to that playlist?
thanks in advance for any help.
