I accidently unplugged my iPod touch midst a sync, now it won't sync anything to it. How do I fix this problem?

I was moving my laptop while the iPod was plugged in and I accidently pulled on the cord halfway out of the iPod's plug. I pushed it back in but all of my music wsa deleted and even after trying to restore the iPod to factory settings I cannot get anything to sync onto my iPod. I do not know how to fix this and I would love for it to be fixed.

What happens when you try to sync? Error message?

You don't in the condition it's in. You will either have to get the phone replaced by Apple or pay a 3rd party to repair it.
there seriously should be more than two ways to solve this other wise apple is useless and we will never buy another apple product.
    Seriously? It's physically broken!

  • ICould is forcing songs from my library onto my iPod touch 5th gen, and they can't be deleted or removed. How do I fix this?

I share a library with my parents, and some of their songs are apparently stored in the iCloud. These songs are showing up in the library on my device with the cloud image next to them, giving me the option to download them from the cloud, but they are already on my device. They play when I shuffle through my library, which is something they shouldn't do if I haven't downloaded them, right? I've tried going to the setting and shutting off the show all songs and all that does is show the same songs as of they are downloaded onto my iPod (which they are). I just want these songs off of my device. How would I go about accomplishing this?

    Hi Kkuppertz,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  If the songs reside on your iPhone, you should be able to delete them per the instructions below.   If you see the download icon, you may need to actually download the song before you can actually delete it from your iPhone.   Click on the link below for complete details.  I've highlighted the part that pertains to deleting songs.

  • IPod touch 4th Gen will not update to iOS 4.3.3. How can i fix this?

I have an ipod 4th generation and i want to update to ios 4.3.3. Every time i try to install the update itunes gives an error saying " iPod could not be updated and that the device isn't eligible for the requested build. This is a new ipod and i had to send it in for repair once because the wake button stopped working. Ever since i received my ipod back i had the problem of not being able to update to iOS 4.3.3. I've tried the suggestions on the help section but none of them worked. How can i fix it so that i can update.? Thank you all in advance

  • Itunes tells me ipod is all ready synced with another library how do I fix this?

My old computer crashed no way to get files. Got new computer now when I try to sync ipod it tells me my ipod can only be synced with one library. Tried deauthorizing all computers then authorizing new one still says the same thing. what can I do I have downloaded music but cannot sync it to ipod ?

"Got new computer now when I try to sync ipod it tells me my ipod can only be synced with one library."
This is true.  Ipod will sycn with one and only one library at a time.  Syncing to another will erase the current content.
This is one of the many reasons that always maintaining a backup copy of your computer has always been very basic.
You can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod:  File>Transfer Purchases.

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

You sync music the same way as on the Classic. What you sync to an iPod does not effect the iTunes library on your computer.

have an Ipod Touch and when I activate the shuffle mode it keeps replaying the same song.  How do I fix this problem?

While playing any song on your iPod, tap the artwork to bring up the scrubber bar and additional controls. On the left hand side is a option for repeat. You want to make sure this icon is white (meaning it is set to Off). If it isn't tap it either one or two times to change its current setting.
    Any luck there?
By the way, this is the iPod Shuffle forum.  Since you have an iPod Touch, you should have posted this in the iPod Touch forum.

It means the device is in recovery mode.  You'll need to reconnect it to iTunes and restore it again.
You may need to connect it in recovery mode manually using the instructions in this Apple support document.
