I accidently updated Adobe Reader on my computer - when I realized it messed up my Acrobat Adobe x I uninstalled it - now my acrobat doesn't work like it used to - any suggestions?

I used to be able to put a sticky note on my .pdf documents after I scanned them for information purposes. Since I had the mess up with Acrobat reader and my Adobe x program, the sticky notes appear very very small and not very useful. Has anyone else had the same issue?

Yes we are still using Acrobat X on our system. We use Windows 7 professional. I needed to change the Default program for any pdf files to open with Acrobat (after the Reader mess) - however, now our Windows fax and scan cannot send pdf files anymore - that was not a problem before the installation & removal of Reader. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue...we are not in a position to upgrade the Acrobat right now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Double check the version of iTunes on your computer. You must have iTunes 11.1 or later.

My dvd doesn't work after installation of Mavericks, any suggestions?

After installing Mavericks 10.9.2 my DVD quit working. It will load try to read and then eject.

I just wanted to follow this up by saying that you were entirely correct in your diagnosis of the situation. My computer did have the faulty part you linked to. I brought my laptop in and specifically told them to run that test, had it fail and then argued with the person at the genius bar and the manager. Eventually they offered to have it sent out and have everything replaced for free of charge. They did so mainly because I had complained about graphical issues almost every other time I had come in with problems and no one ran the test. They should have caught this problem during my warranty, but they didn't, even though I mentioned the problem.
Anyhow, after having the part replaced, I haven't had my computer crash a single time since, or had many of the issues mentioned above. I've never had this experience before. Even brand new, I got occasional crashes. Hopefully this new trend continues.
I do find that web browsing is still incredibly slow. Web browsers just chug along at a slow pace, even though I have great internet speed. Maybe I'll try just deleting my web browsers and reinstalling them...

Check to see if you anti-virus software running, that will at times interfere with the connection with the Apple server.

The trial is always extended. The serial number you enter determines whether it runs as standard or extended.
I'm getting through fine with that link, so it must be a browser issue or some such thing. Try another browser.

Hi again, when you clicked on Mountain Lion and Lion in the App Store you are telling the laptop to reinstall them both.
You may have allowed simutanious downloads checked at the bottom of the window, I don't know, but I expect Mountain Lion is downloading, so Lion is waiting for it to finish, so if you have Mountain Lion installed cancel both download's.
Cancell both downloads anyway.
Go to the apple logo , top left, click on it, then click on about this mac, a window will open telling you what's installed, Mountain Lion is OX 10 version 10.8.2 click on more info, to find out more, Lion will be OX10 version 10.7.4.
Only update were it say's check for updates, not download now.
